This place is great! Highly recommend the bulgogi bento and corn dogs. If I'm not mistaken, they used to be called Hola Seoul and was inside Dae Jang Keum. They used to have steamed red bean buns which were aaamaaazzzing. (and I hope they bring them back :p ) read more

Ordered Kimchi Box from DoorDash while I was at work. I ordered Bulgogi Bibimbap, the fried dumplings and bulgogi tacos (to take home for hubby). It arrived and smelled amazing! Very innovative food offering. Love the fried chicken thighs, particularly the sassy Korea flavor, only if it has some more kick to it would have been awesome! The kimchi taco is just awesome, beautifully seasoned with crunchy vegetables. At this old Pei-Wei location, it's probably bigger than what their team can handle now so the place is a bit chaotic. But don't be turned down but its "just open" atmosphere, the food is decent and really delicious. read more

I love Korean Fried Chicken and kimchi box does it well. Glad there is something closer to me than having to drive to Troy for Korean food. The chicken was by far the best thing there. We got wings/drums and the boneless chicken thighs and they were both great. Flavorful and crunchy. The 2 sauces were very good. I also got bulgogi tacos which was okay and the sassy fries. I wish the sassy fries had for sauce but next time I'll just request extra sauce. Not sure if I would order items other than the chicken again but will for sure be back for the KFC. read more

Have tried this place twice with takeout for covid safety. Chicken wings were tasty and still crispy when we got it home which was great. Some places the sauce is too sweet - but the sauce here was on point. Perfect balance of savory and sweet. Love the online ordering. One thing is we did request sauce on side and called to confirm this for our first order but wings were sauced. Manager was helpful and discounted that order since we did not want to turn around to exchange the wings. Also tried the bulgogi taco which was also delicious. Service was fast and staff was patient as this was our first time here. The corn dogs are a must try, I preferred the potato to the regular mozzarella but both were crispy and cheesy. The staff and owner are really nice and made us feel very comfortable. I had been wanting to try a Korean corn dog for a while and this was perfect. I can't say enough good things about the wings. We imagined a plate of wing dings but were brought huge pieces of extremely juicy chicken. I don't know what they marinate them in but it's perfect. Both sauces we tried were great. Usually though, at most Korean friend chicken joint, the "spicy" sauce option usually is super spicy where I need rice. Kimchi's spicy had enough heat where I can enjoy it still. The soy was also good! We did order tacos and the corn dogs as sides/apps and they were ok! The tacos were a bit bland, I think it might needed a tangy topped to it (slaw, lime, etc). The corn dog was decent and more of a novelty item but it wasn't worth $6. Just wanted to try it once! We did also get the fries too and they're super crispy and similar to Coney Island fries (aside from the toppings). I think if I were to come back, I would only get the chicken and skip the apps! They have a little sections for utensils right next to their fountain machine. Their menu is on the left on a wall when you walk up to the register. Everything had good portions, shareables generously fill two people. They were busy but it didn't decrease service. Not the most exciting flavors, but good enough to share with others. Kimchi fries were tangy and salty in a good way. Corn dogs were lame. Just cheese. Spicy chicken sandwich was good but just very dense.
