The food here is amazing for an all you can eat. Everything we tried was really good and made to order. The restaurant is nice and clean and the desserts were yummy. Can't wait to go again.

Spicy edamame - did you know a cup of these green beauties are about 17-18g of protein? Well now you do! Happy eating!!!

For shame, I've been to KIMIYA at least 5 or 6 times now, and honestly, the consistency is what keeps me coming back. I've been to a LOT of all-you-can-eat sushi spots( I have quite the penchant for them) , and this is easily one of the better ones in the DFW. The food is always fresh, comes out fast, and I love that the portions let you try a little bit of everything without overdoing it immediately. Shoutout to Kim, who seated me in a quieter section during Memorial Day weekend while I was dining solo. I didn't even ask, but it was such a thoughtful gesture and much appreciated. What a Gem!!! Also, Marvin!!!! I was lucky to be seated in his section again!!! He really makes the experience!! He is always great every time I come in. Upbeat, kind, attentive, and just consistently good energy. And what a smile!!! A lot of AYCE places start strong and then slowly fall off over time. So far, KIMIYA has stayed consistently good, if not better every visit. Definitely one of my regular spots now.

We tried kimiya for ayce lunch back on valentines weekend and it was ok for ayce! I think their sashimi is better than the nigiri because the nigiri had a bit too much rice for me :") The hot food was just ok too, but the fried oreos were yummy!

Really nice atmosphere. Sushi is fresh and well presented. We enjoy it every time we come in. Good service. Try the tempura cheesecake for desert.

Came with my husband and daughter and was seated right away. Our waitor, Jenny Kim was great! She was quick with our orders. The sushi tasted fresh and was prepared perfectly.

Marvin was our server today and he was good. We asked for a lot of stuff and he was in top of it. We opted to not do all-you-can-eat and ordered a hibachi fried rice side to share, $4.95....it is the best fried rice we have eaten in years! Shared the fried rock shrimp. That rock shrimp sauce is delicious. It's like yum yum sauce on steroids. We got a firecracker roll and iechiban roll. They were okay, but would probably not order them again. The rolls didn't come with wasabi or ginger. We didn't request it when we noticed. Didn't wanna send Marvin on another quest as he had his hands full being double sat. The restaurant looks great after the renovation post Dennys. If you opt for all-you-can-eat, it's $36 per person.

This is an AYCE sushi place but the flavors of all the sushi is really not that good! The rice is too mushy! The service was ok, they don't really come back to check on you often! The shrimp tempura we had was just ok because it didn't have the typical batter, I like the batter that they had for the vegetable tempura better! And the combination udon was good, had plenty of flavor! I don't think it's worth the money for just eating the two items! The chicken teriyaki was really dry, that's probably why they put all that sauce on top, it didn't help at all! They have a 20% off now until December 22, 2025 for the grand opening!

I ordered the ramen (pork) and it definitely did not disappoint. Loads of flavor and the broth was rich. I don't have the sushi, but I will say that what I saw coming from the sushi counter looked amazing. I arrived around 1:15 on a Wednesday so it was definitely after the main lunch rush. Still, there was a fair amount of people in the restaurant. The staff was very attentive and the food came out quickly. I'm positively coming back - would like to try the katsu and the sushi. I didn't recall seeing curry but it would be heaven if they had it. The setting was quite nice - modern, clean, spacious. The music at the time was pop, a little on the louder side, but I could have still had a conversation without yelling. Truly a good place for ramen, can't wait to see what else is amazing.

This place was amazing. So many options so little stomach room. I'm def one of the under eaters but I saw many making up for what I didn't eat. I would for sure recommend this place. A far better restaurant than Denny's.

Cannot say enough good things. It was worth the wait. Staff were fabulous. Food came out super fast. Everything tasted amazing. I warn folks that the sushi rolls on the all-you-can-eat are very large, not smaller portions. So order one at a time! Food was incredibly fresh. All so good. We ate so fast we only got photos of two things, haha!

Very impressed with both the food and service. We enjoyed the gyoza, shumai, calamari, endame, sesame balls, miso soup, spicy miso noodle, steak udon, California roll, crunch roll and chicken fried rice. All delicious!

Saturday March 14th 3:27 PM CST Unbelievable Just unbelievable.I don't even know where i should start. Me and my friends were in an amazing mood looking forward to eating out. When we were seated the waitress spilled water all over me causing me to leave and spend 40$ on clothes when i returned the waiter had nothing to say other than snarky comments "did you cry" "you took a while coming back" just ridiculous when we received our checks we still tipped despite the service but the waiter demanded that we tip more saying that it was okay we didn't since we're "young" and "didn't know better" if i wanted to eat at a water park i would've. my pants are still wet!

Great food. Hibachi steak cooked a perfect medium. Wife had chicken. Son had scallops... all hibachi. Definitely will come back. Green tea was legit. Miso soup... very good. Try the green tea ice cream... quality. Very nice environment, without being too fancy. 5 stars.

For a Saturday the place was filled with patrons which is always a good sign. Parking was a little crap but there's not much we can do about that. Its located inside a small strip mall of businesses. There is ample parking across the street but that does require walking is almost 100 degree heat. We were seated right away. For our table we ordered the sashimi bento box which came with fresh slices of salmon, tuna and white fish. The portions were extremely generous as they also included salad, miso soup, tempura with veggies, and a double order of california rolls. Thats definitely a Texan sized meal. We also ordered a octopus roll. This came with a large portion of ginger and wassabi too. Food was delicious, pricing wise even more competitive to Carrollton and we were in the vicinity so it was extremely convenient to nearby attractions, including the downtown McKinney historical district. The fish is divinely fresh, along with everything else that was served. The service was excellent. We have found our go-to sushi spot and will return to try other options from their menu.

The beef was absolutely horrible. It was bland and tough. The rib barely had any meat on it and the brisket was just bad. The broth wasn't good at all & the egg we added was strangely sweet although cooked to perfection; soft boiled. The spicy ramen with the pork on the other hand was so good I'd actually go back just for that! It was so flavorful with the most delicious broth, the pork was tender and flavorful as well. We also ordered a crunchy roll which was really really good. They need to invest in different chairs because they make ear screeching noises when pulled out.

The staff was genuinely friendly and attentive, which immediately set a positive tone for the experience. The menu offered a great variety with plenty of options, and I really appreciated that items were clearly marked to indicate whether they contained raw fish. That's a thoughtful touch that makes the menu more approachable for guests who may be new to sushi or prefer cooked options. Presentation-wise, the rolls looked fantastic and were plated beautifully. The flavors were good as well. However, the one thing that held the experience back for me was the portion size of the rolls. Some of them were extremely large--my Rock & Roll was so big that fitting a single piece comfortably in my mouth was a challenge. Sushi is traditionally meant to be eaten in one bite to enjoy the balance of rice, fish, and fillings. When the pieces get too large, it can throw off that balance and make the eating experience a bit messy. I also found the eel sauce to be unusually thick--almost molasses-like--which didn't quite have the smooth, glossy texture I typically enjoy. Overall, it's still a solid spot worth trying, especially if you enjoy larger rolls and generous portions. For me personally, the size of the rolls disrupted the balance I look for in sushi, so it may not become my regular spot--but others may really enjoy it.
