Two of my favorite words when I'm hungry are "breakfast" and "anytime". Large portions are also always welcome, and Kimmie's checks those boxes. Winner winner, breakfast for dinner. The burrito is huge, so make sure to lift with the knees, so you don't strain your back. Inside, there are two scrambled eggs, your choice of meat (I got sausage), and hashbrowns. My wife liked her grilled chicken sandwich. It wasn't huge, but it was filling. And, a huge amount of fries are providing with it. There's a lot to be said for fries that are freshly cut from potato, versus what you get it fast from fast food places. These really hit the spot. The kids pepperoni pizza was really good. If I weren't always in the mood for breakfast, I would've been very happy ordering a big boy version of that pizza. When you're in a relatively remote area, your dining options are limited. I'm sure the people of Prescott are happy that Kimmie's is nearby. While I ordered a carryout, they have a fully stocked bar. And, prices are reasonable for what you get. After a long day on the lake, this bar is the place to go and to tend to your hunger. The servings are absolutely HUGE! Their menu has a wide variety of choices as well as a blackboard of daily specials. It's kind of hard to choose just one thing but don't worry, you will definitely be able to get a bite of everything your party ordered because the large portions!! LOL Our group of 5 ordered the chili, the quesadilla, the western omelette, the make your own pizza boat, the steak and cheese grinder and the olive burger. We all enjoyed our food and we had plenty to take home for lunch the next day. We really didn't need more food but were curious how big the desserts were and my kid had never had an elephant ear so we ordered one of those. The elephant ear dessert came out super hot and fresh. It was really good but the kid and the adults say add more sugar! Lol Great service. McKenzie was awesome and got us refills. I don't live here but visit my brother once a year. Got take out and holy smokes it was horrible the chicken quesadilla had burnt onion and green peppers and raw onion and raw green peppers only few pieces of chicken and little to no cheese tasted horrible and the other food was very undercooked. Got this for the first time, seat yourself diner. They have many different options whether it's home cooked meals or just something easy like pizza they have it. Went a couple days ago with a group of 8 and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and the how quickly the service was, our server was fast to make sure we felt welcome and were super accommodating. I personally ordered a chicken bacon ranch sandwich, and out of all the food, it took a couple minutes more but the wait was worth it! Kimmies Used to have quality carry out meals. I ordered carry out for breakfast: eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, home-fries, and homemade white toast. The ham was charred black and dry, sausage was hard and dried out inedible, the potatoes overcooked and dried out and the toast was stale and hard. Now ask me about their overcooked fish dinner and rotten baked potato I ordered on my last visit 3 weeks ago. I gave them the benefit of being hit hard by the storms and power outages by revisiting this morning, but sorry guys. You need a new cook that can cook. Stopped by Kimmie's and asked a friendly, young lady for a menu to go and she told me they had heated igloos out back. It was my mother's 85th birthday and Kimmie's was perfect! Exceptional service, outdoor heat, excellent food and drink options. From fried mushrooms, chicken gizzards, frog legs and 1/3 lb olive burger...great flavor, hot and fast! Before we even ordered our drinks the waitress asked if we were paying cash or card before(we thought this was a little weird.) So we politely asked if it made any differences? & the waitress responded saying we ring it up different for tax purposes. (I think that has something to do with income tax invasion.) So we started off with two orders of biscuits and gravy, The biscuits were rock hard you could've broke a window with them. We also ordered a simple breakfast special; and a long brown hair was embedded in my potatoes! We brought it to our waitresses attention & she responded; "I have a man cooking back here I don't see how that got there." We waited over a half hour & the waitress also responded very rudely now; "You did not wait a half hour." So we made the decision to leave as we're being treated horribly by our waitress, As we were leaving peacefully, they're screaming; "AND DONT COME BACK, PLEASE DONT COME BACK." How do you expect to be a successful restaurant/bar and you treat your customers like this? (Also I think someone need to investigate their cash sales because I don't think they're paying tax on cash sales, That is just my opinion ‍.) read more

Excellent service! We had a 8 or 9 person get together and needed a nice big pizza for the end of our night. We originally were going to get about 3 pizzas. I asked over the phone how big their pizzas were and she said we can make a BIG one! I said how big and she said their giant pizza was 18x36!!!! Kimmie's has been a little hit and miss in the past, but it's hard to go wrong with grinders, burgers, and baskets. However, I called in an order today for pick up after having not been able to go out for a few weeks and was very disappointed. Was really looking forward to good food I didn't have to cook. Asked for extra tartar with both of my fish baskets and was told it would be in there. Once I got home and opened the box, I found no tartar at all. In addition, the fish in both baskets was mostly breading and so overcooked that what little fish was inside had dried and shriveled. Not great... read more

Ordered carry out over July 4th weekend. They were super busy, but everything was just right in our large order. -Even the special order requests. My daughter is on a gluten free diet. She was thrilled with the cauliflower crust pizza. All of our food was hot and cooked to perfection. Burgers were delicious, great fries and my son's personal pizza got two picky thumbs up.
