After my dentist retired, we had a little global pandemic, and then things got busy and ... in 2026 I brought them a mouth some California dentists wouldn't touch without hundreds of dollars in X-ray and lab fees up front. Then wouldn't touch. ​ In two days of care, they replaced a complex crown, did four quadrants of deep cleaning, and filled an embarrassing number of cavities. I paid about two and a half Gs for what I was quoted elsewhere for between $6K and $10K. This is dental work under local anesthesia, so some pain from numbing is expected. They have a deal with a chain hotel in easy walking distance that has an included breakfast with soft foods and a UV water dispenser on every floor. From my initial contact on WhatsApp, to their offer to Uber me to the office, to patient intake and detailed assessment including head CTs (!), 3D modeling (!!!), photography of teeth and individual tooth x-rays, and the competence of the clinical team... I don't believe this level of dental care is available in Estados Unidos. If I have a friend who needs dental care, I will cheerfully refer them here. Note: WhatsApp and Uber are essential tools in Tijuana.​

Their office is located in an upscale professional medical building and the pictures on their website are of their actual office. It was as nice or nicer than any dentist office I've been to in the U.S. Everyone I met was friendly, professional, and spoke English well. Dr. Jessica was excellent - thorough, attentive, and easy to communicate with. While I initially chose to come here for the prices, I was most impressed by the quality of care. Pain free I was eating tacos 30 min after (probably not very recomendable) After this I had my braces done here. My treatment lasted just a little over a year. Office is clean and the drs are very knowledgeable. If I'm not mistaken dr. Julio is also a dental surgeon and professor at the university. Also they accept most American dental insurance. Mine covered all expenses didn't even have to pay co payment. And covered the braces where here in the US it wouldn't have been because it is seen as cosmetic.

We negotiated a deal for $5600 . Upon our arrival at their office , they came up with a $9100 invoice , further telling us that if we pay cash , we could get it down to $8000. They told us that she needs grafting in her lower left side of her jaw as well as upper right . She had implants in that area and her two crowns which we had with us , needed to be secured back in . the dentist was adamant that the implants need to be secured by grafting again in lower area. It required for them to put her to sleep and called in an anesthesia tech ( not a doctor ) and she had oral surgery for more than 3 hours , we were told to return in 4 months , we paid them $2500 and they even charged us $25 for medical pass !!! . She was in sever pain days after , we called them and they said its normal , after a few days , pain had gotten worse so we drove back to mexico and the dentist told us that some food was stock in that area and that caused the pain , told us , she has cleaned it out and send us back after a short visit . The pain got worse , we decided to visit a local dentist in Irvine , CA ( oral surgeon specialist ) who advised us that the area is infected and they should have never operated the grafting in the lower area since it was not necessary at all and now she has open wounds and blisters in her mouth and she has to endure the pain for 6 weeks and it will cost us $3000 more just to undo what they did in mexico and if we are lucky , she will heal afterwards , they have no clue of what they are doing , we visited another specialist and were told the same . I reached out to the dental office in mexico and was told , we are sorry !!! They trick you by being nice on the phone , being polite to get you there and will harm you possibly beyond recovery . Stay away from trust dental.

I can make the 2 hour drive from LA for an appointment and be back by mid afternoon before rush-hour traffic starts. My first work with them was a Zirconia implant that went great so I started getting cosmetic work done- veneers, crowns etc. Now I've actually crowned or veneered all my teeth and they look incredible. In the US it would've cost over $30k but I paid less than $10k. I even recently brought my Mom for all-on-four and she got the best materials, nano-ceramic, and it was just over $20k - in the US it would be over $60k. Her teeth look amazing and a friend who used clear choice in the US for $50k told my Mom her work looks much better than theirs. If you have an opportunity to try these guys I highly recommend you do it.

Being able to save $2700 allowed me to pay in full. The front desk coordinator, Anna, was fabulous. Since I live in South Bay, I could park close to the San Ysidro crossing or save $ by taking the Blue Line Trolley. Must have a passport to cross but afterwards, called an Uber which cost about USD 2.00. The Uber app automatically changed once I crossed the border. Anna would always request an Uber until I was familiar enough do it myself. If you have Global Entry, that's a huge plus. You can bypass the long lines and walk right through. Nice office if a bit small. Equipment looks nice and definitely as nice as my SD dentist. Husband has had 2 crowns placed and we did our general cleaning there until we got dental insurance stateside. I will definitely return for any dental needs that my dental insurance does not cover!
