Grabbing a big table for the gathering

I booked a stay at the Everly for a big special birthday and arranged for friends to meet me for happy hour. I was a bit trepidatious because I'd never been there before and wasn't sure how it would work for drinks with friends. Turned out to be the perfect space! First off, the hotel acknowledged my birthday and gifted me with some delicious complimentary champagne upon check in. Our room was lovely with a living room suite looking out at the Hollywood sign. Traffic noise was zero so great sound proofing. A clawfoot tub, some very jedi like bathrobes, large comfy bed. Room was great. There were cheddar fish crackers I discovered when I put up the back cushion on the chair that were missed by the cleaning staff, but I'm always willing to give some grace. Bar downstairs had a weekend happy hour with food and it was all lovely. The place feels airy, spacious, with great vibes of plants and muted colors. The staff was so welcoming as my friends began coming in. Everyone loved the space. The moment that I really felt this place was a level up from other boutique brands was when the manager, Danielle Patterson, must have overheard me complaining about how much my feet hurt in heels on hard wood floors and told me to hold one second and came back with complimentary slippers!! Heck yeah! Parking is pricey. We waymo'ed over for locals who can or find parking in the neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous hotel that is in a great location. Hollywood is about 2 blocks away! There is only valet parking at$65 a day but included in and out privileges. $20 parking if not staying overnight. Gorgeous hotel. They have free shot or drink when you check in. You just take the vouchers to the bar. They have free wine I think at 5 or 6pm. They have free amenities if you forgot any item. Lots of little free perks included with your stay. You can get a free bike rental and a picnic basket. The room is nice and had a view of the Hollywood sign. Closest I've stayed at with a view of the Hollywood sign. Hotel is very clean. Service was amazing. Soap in the shower smelled really good. I had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend.

I chose the Kimpton primarily based on its proximity to the Hollywood Palladium. In that sense, it was the right spot to get to and from the concert venue on foot (and even have food options to choose from on your way back). The views from my room and the hotel in general were also nice; makes the up hill hike worth it. They could up the ante on the hospitality though. I checked in at approximately 10:03pm, minutes after the hotel restaurant closed. When I inquired with the front desk staff who was checking me in, he simply said "you just missed it." Okay, cool, do you recommend anything in the area then? Nope? Alright.... My room was "cleaned" the first day but not very well. Crumbs from a pastry remained on the floor and the bedding was so wrinkled that it honestly looked better without being made up. Yikes. Lastly, I spent $50 on two cocktails during happy hour, but I'm not very happy about that price. The bartender and my server at breakfast were absolutely lovely though! To avoid the $8 water (yikes again), walk to the nearby Trader Joe's or CVS.

The Kimpton Everly hotel is an elevated experience. Treat yourself to Hollywood views, nearby amusements, high quality services and delightful times!!! They do charge valet parking, safe and secure parking. There is also street parking too, available depending on the time of day you go. The have a beautiful pool view overseeing Hollywood. This place has been a pleasure to be around. The people that work here make it gold!! Christopher's is a one of a kind bar tended. He is very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to be around!!! The cocktails are delicious, they play music which makes it enjoyable. It's overly loud. Perfect place to get work done too. If you're a small business owner, they have a conference room, the Jane cafe offers beautiful selections of trays and coffee. Their coffee is one of the stars of the shows for me!!!!!! I've had coffee different places but nothing is life the coffee at the Kimpton everly!! I absolutely love coming here. At night time, the restaurant written hand comes alive, it's beautiful. Ask for Alan, he's too spectacular. Not only is he hospitable, he makes this place very easy to love. Thank you Alan for always being an example of what excellent customer service is all about!! You are the definition of spectacular!! There's a pool table and plenty of diverse seatings! The view of the capital records build is enjoyable too! I like their French fries and cookie that comes with a malt!! I call the cookie here one of the tastiest quality cookies I have ever tried! If you're a sweets lover/cookie lover. This is your sign to try their cookie!!! :) It may be pricy but it's worth the quality. Can't wait to try out their pizza.

This is a nice hotel- It could be great if they had more hospitality personnel- Front desk was always backed up for service. And since leaving a week ago I have called Accounting and Billing at least 4 times and left messages asking for a return call. I just now called front desk (in the event the VM for accounting wasn't working) to leave an additional message and was on hold 9 minutes. Also rooms seem a little stark -even the 1BR Suites were sparse (no coffee table or sofa cushions) Bathroom had some black mold growing on the shower tiles and we stayed 3 nights and no one caught this. Hotel in general is trendy and the people working there were very friendly always (just short of help is all)

    Close to Capital Records building.

Hollywood, CA: Very convenient location close to Hollywood Boulevard and walking distance to the small but mighty Fonda Theater. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. I especially appreciate Ivan's help solving a minor issue with care and kindness. Thank you!! The room was clean and set up nicely with a fridge and bottled water (charge for water). Ceiling was funky, could use some attention. Bed was comfy enough and bathroom had nice towels and shower with free standing tub. Cocktail hour with free wine was nice surprise, took the edge off the steep parking fee of $65 + taxes which is typical of LA these days. (2024). It's worth it to be walking close to some venues and not have to find parking. I've stayed at the Kimpton in Beverly Hills close to UCLA and it was a lovely hotel as well.

Trash left by homeless people (I'm assuming) in front of the Kimpton Everly Hotel. It was left like this for two days.
    Mary S.

Stayed at this hotel for five days as part of a group so I did not select the hotel. The hotel is in the midst of an area with a high homeless population. My sister had an especially frightening experience when a psychotic homeless man approached her (on hotel property) very closely then screamed at her, shouted obscenities, and made lewd and violent remarks to her while she was standing outside alone. The hotel needs a security guard in front of its property. It seems like the hotel has just given up in terms of its failure to collect trash left on its property. This photo shows trash left for two days. We were there as part of a tour group. There was a consistent "comedy of errors" when it came to our catering. Our group of 37 people would find our dining area locked (even though it was our time to be there), and frequently the food would be 5 to 10 minutes late in being set up. The quality of the food was generally pretty disappointing. Once the hotel ran out of food before even half of our group had a chance to approach the buffet. It was soon replenished, but there was a consistent vibe of scarcity. Our first night during our welcome reception we were told by our anxious tour guide "the hotel has only allocated one canapé per person"! On a positive note, staff are exceptionally gracious and friendly and rooms are clean and refreshed daily.

    Gym: never enough towels

My friend and I recently stayed at this Boutique Hotel for 4 nights. Service was excellent from the front desk and valet. The lobby is quite impressive. A lot of seating, chairs, couches to relax on with nice artwork surrounding. The Bar was beautiful with a nice touch of a free Happy Hour daily. In the morning the bar area sets up complementary coffee and tea. Good to note because the rooms do not have coffee makers. They have a pool table and free candy counter which unfortunately were both commandeered by little kids throwing the pool balls and sticking their hands in the candy jars instead of using the tongs and candy bags every time I glanced over. The rooms were nice, spacious with a mini fridge and safe and 2 big complimentary soda waters. Bathroom was nicely designed. I took advantage of the gym, plenty of Cardio, weights and my favorite, a Peloton bike. For a Boutique Hotel, there are some definite improvements that could be made. 1. On the surface the hotel looks clean, our room needed a deep clean, cup stains on all the surface tops and bathroom counters. Carpet didn't feel clean. Room walls had splash marks. Thank goodness I always carry Clorox wipes with me. 2. Bathroom shower had no door and the half glass wall was not sufficient in keeping the water in. Design Flaw. We put the bath mat down and it was soaked, like dripping soaked. 3. Towel shortage: when we arrived in our room there were only 3 bath towels, that was it. I called housekeeping on 2 occasions for more bath, hand and wash clothes in lieu of cleaning our room daily. Towels took forever to be delivered. 4. Gym, well equip but not clean. Water dispenser overflowing. There were plenty of wipes the 4 days I used it. No towels again... a tiny rack that holds 6 towels. Other than that all was good. Would I stay again if I had to stay on downtown LA, Yes

Last night, I saw a young woman enter the hotel clearly under the influence alongside a young man. At first, I assumed they were together, but something about the situation felt off. The young man seemed to be following her and trying to control the interaction while insisting she was "fine" and didn't need help. What stood out to me was that Joy did not simply take his word for it. She stepped in, calmly took control of the situation, and continued checking on the young woman despite the man trying to speak over her. After some back and forth, I heard Joy directly ask the young woman if she knew the man. Shockingly, the young woman said no. At that moment, Joy immediately asked the man to step away and questioned why he claimed to know her and why he was following her. Once confronted, the man left. From what I witnessed, the young woman was then safely escorted and able to recover in safety. As a bystander, I cannot express how much respect I have for Joy. In today's world, many people would have ignored the situation or brushed it off as people "just having fun." Instead, Joy trusted her instincts and potentially protected that woman from a very dangerous situation. Because of her attentiveness and courage, that young woman was able to safely wake up without a stranger in her room or something far worse happening to her. Watching this unfold honestly made me feel safer staying at this property. Employees like Joy are rare, and the Conrad should be incredibly grateful to have someone so observant, compassionate, and proactive representing their hotel. On behalf of that young woman and as someone who witnessed everything unfold, thank you, Joy, for stepping in when it mattered most. The world needs more people like you. Keep up the amazing work.

It's such a big city and we wanted to stay somewhere central and safe. We were on a girls trip with our daughters. First, our check in experience was great. Michelle checked us in and was sure to let us know about the amenities available. She gave us completamentary drink tickets, and extra waters which was so kind. We had requested adjoining rooms which was so convenient with our two girls. Our rooms were spacious, and clean and perfect. The lobby always had infused water for everyone, and some kind of treat. In the mornings, there was fresh ( surprisingly amazing) coffee and pastries. Another day, we came down and found fresh watermelon juice, and bruschetta with tomato and cheese. Another day, there were petit fours for us. A HUGE perk of staying there is the car service. They will drive you anywhere from the hotel within a three mile radius and you can call them to pick you up and bring you back as well. We used this s much and it really saved us alot of money, and we felt lots safer in the company of their wonderful drivers instead of random Uber drivers or walking around in an unknown city. Robin, Henry, Robert, and Oscar made our trip so memorable. All of the folks that worked there made us feel like royalty. Every time we stepped towards the doors, they were being held open for us. Just spectacular service! We even got a late checkout and Roberto ( nice eyebrows) was so sweet to bring new keys up to our room since our old ones would deactivate before we checked out. When I say I'd recommend this place to everyone..I'm saying it with my chest. It was really the best hotel experience I have had in a very long time. 3 of the drivers we chatted with had been with the company for 30 years! Omni must treat their employees well and because of that, their customer service shines. It's service like this that will make us lifelong customers.

I was always welcomed whether it was someone opening the door as I entered or the people at the reception. My flight arrived early and they were accommodating to provide me with an early check in. The elevators are close to the check-in desk and there was never a long wait for the elevator. I had a room with a king bed. The room was adequate in size and the bed was pretty comfortable. The bathroom has a separate walk in shower and separate tub. Where I feel this place is a bit outdated was the lack of USB ports for charging. The desk had an outlet built in but one of the power sources was not working. I had to do some work and needed to plug my laptop into the one working plug. But I also needed my cell phone and wanted to keep it charged. I had to unplug the lamp to use the power supply. There is another plug on the nightstand but that would have meant leaving the phone on the other side of the room and I needed the phone while I was working. But because I had to unplug the lamp, I had to work in the dark (it was evening). I can't remember the last time I was in a hotel room that didn't have USB ports so you could charge your phone at the desk and at the nightstand. I could have called the desk and I'm sure they would have given me another room but I was all settled in. Movies; this is the first time I have been in a hotel of this caliber where you had to pay for movies. Certainly I have been in other hotels where you pay for "some" movies, but not all. Usually there is free Showtime or HBO. No, I didn't travel to watch a movie, but sometimes it's nice when winding down in the evening or to have on in the background when working. They did offer some recent movies and even some that I think are still in theaters. Of course I would expect to pay; but most other top named hotels I would be able to watch movies for free. They do provide the opportunity to log into your Netflix and/or Amazon account.

Traveling can be challenging, no matter how you go about it…read more If you're driving, chances are you're stuck in traffic, dodging impatient drivers under the unforgiving sun for hours. If you're flying, you're navigating long TSA lines, hauling luggage through terminals, and feeling like a package on a conveyor belt. By the time you arrive at your destination, the last thing you want is to sit around, waiting for your hotel room to be ready. What's worse is the industry-wide norm: early check-out (as early as 10am) and late check-in (sometimes not until 4 or 5pm). That's a six-hour window where you're essentially in limbo--and honestly, it doesn't take that long to turn a room around. But then you come across a place like The Hoxton--a brand that just gets it. From the start, I noticed something different: standard check-in at 2pm and check-out at 12pm. That's only a two-hour room turnaround, and honestly, that small detail made a big impact on my stay. It showed that they respect travelers' time and understand how exhausting the journey can be. The early check-in wasn't the only win. The Hoxton's hospitality extends beyond logistics--it's in the welcoming atmosphere, the effortless design, and the subtle feeling that everything is being handled without you needing to ask. When a hotel pays attention to the small details, like realistic check-in and check-out times, it sets the tone for the entire stay. It's the kind of thoughtfulness that keeps you coming back--and recommending it to friends. The hardwood floors and minimalist decor were a breath of fresh air--literally. As someone with allergies, I was relieved to walk into a space that felt clean, airy, and well-maintained. No musty old carpet, no suspicious stains, and no wondering if your socks would survive a stroll across the room. Just a bright, well-designed room that felt intentionally simple and refreshingly comfortable. The rooftop pool and bar were definite highlights. Whether you're in the mood to lounge by the water or enjoy a romantic sunset moment, it's a beautiful spot to unwind and take in the views. That said, be ready to pay for it--two drinks ran us about $50, which feels steep, even with the ambiance factored in. The hotel also features an on-site café and diner, which makes grabbing a quick bite or coffee super convenient. But, like most hotel dining, you're paying for proximity and ease--so expect slightly higher pricing than outside spots. Situated in South Park on the edge of DTLA, the location feels both quiet and accessible. It's not in the middle of the action, but the corner is bright and safe, and you're directly across from The Proper Hotel. A short Uber ride puts you close to a wide variety of restaurants, nightlife, and city attractions--making it a great launching point for exploring Los Angeles without the chaos of staying right in the center.

My experience with The Hoxton Hotel was defined by 2 main things:…read more1. Beautiful Historical art deco hotel with super friendly and helpful staff 2. Very limited (safe) parking options as well as nighttime noise problems. The Good: Love this style and vibe of this boutique hotel. In the rooms, there are many cute little features that add charm -- see photos of vent and light switch and retro decor. I did not get to try the restaurants but they look gorgeous especially the rooftop one. I peeked at the pool area near the restaurant; You can get a fantastic view of the city from there. The spaces are all kept quite clean and tidy. My room was small-moderate Queen size. You go through the door and the entryway is also your bathroom and though I admire how clever they work with the space, some area could have been improved. For instance, the water closet had more space than it needed. I really like the closed-door shower area though. Garbage bins were a bit hard to find (one in the WC and the other at the far end corner of the room by the bed). Then the TV is kind of awkwardly placed all the way near the window. Nowhere near center to the bed. I was drawn to this hotel for the perk of it being very dog friendly (and it is!). They provide dog treats, beds and bowls. The only issue I found was lack of potty space for dogs. I understand given the location on the streets but perhaps a faux grass spot can be made around a corner in the alley, near the restaurant could be made. OR a small patch of grass space created on the rooftop area! Then it would REALLY be dog-friendly. The Bad: Valet is $66 per night. PER NIGHT. And good luck parking on any of the lots nearby on the street (not associated with the hotel). There's a HIGH CHANCE your car will be smashed and vandalized. I initially tried the lot across the street and when we got back from dinner to park, these poor guys' car window was smashed and they said several other cars were smashed too. The lots claim they're surveilled 24hr, but that's a lie. Unless there's a 24/7 lot attendant, I would NOT trust these streets. I already paid for the whole weekend already ($52) and there's probably no chance to get a refund. So don't feed into these terrible lots. Risk of vandalism is high. Noise: I had requested ahead of time and upon arrival to hopefully be roomed in a quieter part of the hotel. But I've come to find out, this area is NOT good if you want peace and quiet. If you want nightlife sounds while you're out on the town AND when you get to your room, then sure, this is your place. I stayed on the 10th floor and starting at 10pm until 2:15AM, There was an incessant deep rumbling sound, as if someone's Escalade was parked outside the building blasting bass music. I guess it was a club down the street somewhere. If you're someone who can't sleep through this constant rumbling like me, then this will NOT be a nice evening experience. Fortunately, staff was incredible kind enough to help me change to a quieter room (shoutout to Kevian (?sp)) at 1:30 AM. The space usage and orientation of the larger rooms was better and I had no further issues. Yes, you can still hear the city din in the background but no longer the "pounding-headache" rumble from before. For some reason, it was so much more noticeable at the top-most floor. All in all, I really loved my experience here at the Hoxton and my fur baby boys also had a great time too. I would LOVE to return and want to give a 5 stars, but the 2 main issues (parking and noise) above really kept it from being a seamless experience for me. Well, it's LA... :/

Old school Hollywood vibes with all the modern conveniences. Great location for freeway access, Hollywood Bowl and restaurants. The bed was soooo comfy, we slept better than we do at home! According to their website, the hotel has been designated with a Michelin Key. -Ambiance: Vibrant colors paired with elegant design elements throughout. The lobby and courtyard are especially stunning. -Design: Thoughtfully designed spaces, including a courtyard with cushioned seating, a fountain, and two gas fire pits--perfect for relaxing. -Location: Conveniently within walking distance to the Hollywood Bowl and Hollywood Blvd. -Upgrade: We were upgraded at no additional cost--a pleasant and unexpected surprise. -Fun Fact: A reality show I watch, 90 Day Fiancé on TLC, filmed at this hotel--and coincidentally, we stayed in the same room. How cool is that? Feedback: -Provide additional waste receptacles in the lobby and guest rooms; currently, there is only one in the bathroom. -Consider switching to key cards instead of manual keys for added convenience. Helpful Info: -Complimentary Breakfast: The website description is misleading--breakfast is only "complimentary" if you pay a $30 service fee, which is actually tied to internet access. Worth paying the service fee if you need reliable internet. Our connection in the room was spotty--we had to step outside our room to get a stable signal. -Phone Coverage: Staffing is limited, with one team member often covering multiple roles (front desk, valet, driver, breakfast prep). As a result, calls may occasionally go unanswered. -Parking: Valet parking is available on-site for $45 per day. -Accessibility: The property has only two levels and no elevators, which may be challenging for guests with mobility concerns. Final Verdict: Highly recommend based on the stellar customer service, prime location, and beautifully designed ambiance.

I have a fondness for the Doubletree brand, and yes it is because of the cookie. I just love it…read more The cookie feels like home. However, the cookie does not make up for a surprisingly rundown facility. For the $49 nightly parking fee, we are given a light stream of murky water guarding the entrance to the elevators that I had to lift my luggage and tap dance over without slipping. The lobby is dark. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, however the parking ticket had to be validated every time you exited, meaning you had to visit the front desk every time you parked. The room was a decent size, except for the bathroom, which could not have been smaller, like the door opens right to the toilet bowl. Two people will not fit in this bathroom. The condition all over the room was poor. Gritty carpets. Chips in the painted furniture. Crud buildup in the corners, around sinks and fixtures. Dented light shades. No sheer curtain, so it's either blackout or bright daylight. The worst part was the lightbulbs themselves, which are the cheap, harsh UV lighting that makes the room look even dingier than I described. For those given the option to pay for the garden view, don't bother. I went to the garden and it was in rough shape. There was no one there and the restaurant spaces around it were shuttered. Highlights include the mattress itself and the view. I was looking east, so away from the downtown skyline, but it was still beautiful to have the view at night. The Doubletree is one of the least expensive options in LA proper, with reason. If you go in clear-eyed, it might still be okay since the location is great if you plan to enjoy the Downtown/Little Tokyo/Arts District area. I hope this hotel gets the facelift that it needs, though that will likely drive up the rates, so that's your trade-off. Enjoy the cookie.

Starting with check-in: I couldn't find anyone at the front desk. A very nice gentleman cleaning…read morerooms offered to find someone for me. Strange encounter. The clerk wasn't outright rude, but for the first several minutes seemed pretentious, like I wasn't good enough to stay there. He didn't introduce himself or ask my name; I introduced myself and asked his name after check-in, and he warmed up a bit. It felt like I'd caught him doing something wrong or arrived before he was ready. I had to ask multiple questions because he didn't offer information or engage. My customer service was on point--his, not so much. I'd been driving all day and was exhausted, wearing very casual clothes, but he felt very judgey. I asked to see the rooms after reading reviews. The first was rundown and not worth the $150 he quoted. He kept going into the back office between questions, implying he was busy or nearly full (there was only one car outside). When I asked to see the other side of the hotel, which had allegedly been updated, he bragged about being fully booked, though I only ever saw three cars. Odd. The second room was just okay, but I was too tired to find another hotel, so I stayed one night. Few things frustrate me more than visible neglect and lack of detail. There were drywall screw heads popping out, scuffed walls, holes, and water-damaged bathroom drywall from a poorly placed glass shower door--crumbling onto the floor. The floor itself was dirty. The outer entry door was peeling badly, shedding bits of clear coating onto the floor and my hands. The blinds appeared to not have been cleaned in months--which should be done regularly. The bed frame was filthy--dust, debris, bits of wrappers and food. It was clearly dirty, with oils, handprints, and dried liquids (I'll leave that to your imagination). The closet doors, off-white, had visible hand grime. The disinfectant wipes I used were brown - yuck. The lamp was dusty, an outlet near the bed had a broken metal piece stuck inside, and both the bathroom vent and hair dryer were caked with dust. The dryer filter hadn't been cleaned in ages. The countertop above the mini fridge was detaching, the bathroom shelf was decaying, and the shower glass hadn't been cleaned. The creamy drip marks on the wall--hopefully conditioner or soap--remained, and the grout was mold-stained. A simple bleach spray would've fixed it. The shower water pressure was awful, with calcification that needs vinegar soaking. It also leaked from the stem. Meanwhile, the sink had too much pressure. The cleaning staff were wonderful--always offering help. The issues here clearly stem from management, not staff. I realize this isn't a four-star hotel and that my standards are higher than average. Having worked in property management and emergency response, I've been in many homes across all conditions and know what "clean" should look like. I attached photos (which don't even capture all of it) so others can decide for themselves. Public beds and showers should be cleaned frequently so dust, germs, and bugs don't build up. The initial clerk did warm up by the end, and wasn't outright rude, just awkward and pretentious at first. When I checked out, a different man was working. He was extremely pushy, insisting I stay longer despite me saying I had to get back on the road. Then he handed me a clipboard and said it was mandatory to fill out--a sheet listing my name, room number, and space for comments, stacked under previous guests' notes. I told him I'd review the hotel online instead. He insisted I fill in each section, so under "comments" I wrote "review on Yelp." Other than being pushy, he was friendly--but it was an annoying end to a stay that wasn't worth the cost. Not the worst stay I've had, but definitely not one I'd repeat.

The shower water pressure was strong and liquid body wash/shampoo/conditioner was available. I am a Bonvoy member and got free access to an amazing breakfast buffet. I was in too much of rush to order individual items off the menu, but the premade items were delicious. I took a video of all the food items, but it looks like there is a time limit of 30 seconds for video uploads. That just tells you how many buffet items there were, since it took me more than 30 seconds to record everything!

Absolutely loved our day at the JW Marriott rooftop pool thanks to Resort Pass!…read more Check-in was easy but take note: you must check in at the hotel lobby first to get your key card for pool access. Once there, our cabana was perfectly set up with a personalized name stand--a great touch. The cabana was spacious with comfy seating, a mini fridge (stocked with 3 waters, 3 sodas, and a complimentary fruit platter), plus fresh towels, lounge chairs, and sunscreen available for everyone at the pool's front desk. A couple of logistics to know: parking is valet only at the hotel and it was $65, so I recommend finding a smaller, more affordable lot in the surrounding area if you want to save some money. Staff was so friendly and attentive the whole day. There's a QR code you can use to order food and drinks right to your cabana, which was super convenient. It was a hot day and a really nice gentleman kept stopping by to offer extra ice--such a thoughtful detail. Bathrooms are just outside the glass pool enclosure (key card needed for re-entry), but they're large, spotless, and even have showers. The pool itself is big with a separate jacuzzi and you get stellar views of the LA Live area from the rooftop. Watching the sunset from up there was the perfect way to close out our day. We're officially hooked on using JW for our pool days and will definitely be back!

For example, one of the light fixtures in my room didn't work. I also had issues connecting to the Bluetooth speaker as one disgruntled reviewer mentioned, but no problem. The room in terms of design did not disappoint. I booked this place as a staycation option to get work done and with the minimalistic aesthetic and minimal distractions I was able to accomplish what I sought out . Overall, the mini perks like the free waters, which were brands that I normally purchase as well as the welcome drink helped to make up for the minor issues with the room. It's a boutique hotel . I think if I did paid more, I would be more upset and also expect more but given this price point, during low season it's a fair price . Michael, who was working the reception desk and Café was also very friendly and welcoming, and answered my questions to the best of his ability . Overall, the people that work here are really lovely, especially Kofi and Felix , great job hiring managers! I would book again without hesitation for the right price .

Our room faced the rear of the hotel overlooking the golf course and consisted of the beautiful lake. The room was spacious and clean, and fully equipped with things that make you feel like you're at home: plates, cups, bowls, utensils, + a full sized fridge. Bonus points because complimentary breakfast is offered daily. Hours of operation M-Fri are from 6am-9am. Weekend hours are from 7am-10am. This is absolutely THE BEST complimentary breakfast spread I have ever had the pleasure of taking part in. Granted, most places I've stayed @ doesn't offer this. Here you will find a waffle station with all of the toppings you could imagine, eggs, ham, sausage patties, assortment of cereals, yogurt, fruit cups, and fresh fruit. While I am not sure how great the options are for a vegetarian standpoint but I did notice meatless patties. My complaints: 1)The lighting within the room are positioned horribly. Whether you decide to use the restroom light or the ones located in the dining|kitchen area as a nightlight, they are both extremely bright making it difficult to sleep. My toddler and I struggled to sleep soundly due to us being sensitive sleepers. 2)Someone triggered the fire alarm during our stay. Walking down 6 flights of stairs with a toddler is already tough but adding in groups and groups of other patrons caused for more traffic than I was ready for. Once we made it back to the lobby we were told it was a false alarm. **insert EYE ROLLS emoji** 4 stars overall. Our stay was comfortable and parking was never an issue. Home2 Suites by Hilton LA Montebello comes recommended. I'd stay here again but would probably bring eye masks for myself and my toddler.
