Other watch places quoted me $35-$48 bucks to change the battery, so I was shocked when Fred gave me a quote on Yelp for $12 bucks! I went to the store without an appointment, Fred welcomed me warmly, and even though 2 other customers came in, I was in and out of there in under 8 minutes! (He was able to help them too.) Aside from the great price and friendly attitude, Fred also noticed that there was some rust in the mechanism restricting the movement and he cleaned it out and added lubricant without even charging me. I came back an hour later to pick up my watch and voila the watch was adjusted to be more accurate. Great! However, it was clear that in opening the case back, his tool slipped and caused deep scratching in the case back. When it was brought back to him, fred says when a case back is opened, some damage should be expected! I certainly did not expect damage. After insisting, he polished off the back but the scratches were too deep. Fred then says the deeper scratches weren't caused by him. Now you can trust me or not that fred caused the damage. But Id heavily suggest taking a picture of your stuff prior to work. Because if something happens, he certainly wont do anything about it. And I no longer think he's honest. He should remember his tool slipping and been upfront. Also they have case back opening tools that don't damage the watch. Id suggest fred look into buying that

When choosing a jeweler for something as meaningful as an engagement ring, trust and transparency matter a lot. I was worried they couldn't be fixed easily since they were so small. I found Ali's on Yelp and brought the necklaces on Saturday afternoon. Ali told us there was a chance the clasps could break in which case they would need to be replaced. If he could fix them, we could pick them up that evening or the next day. He texted me later that day letting me know they could be picked up the next day. The necklaces and the fixed clasps look and work great. I can hardly visibly see that they had to be fixed. The whole process with Ali was very clear and smooth and I'm really happy with his help!

I talked to them about what was going on and how I also wanted to smooth out the side prongs because they were digging into my finger. They suggested I run it all through insurance first so we could get as much of it covered. I came back when I got the okay from my insurance and Dom helped me out! We discussed what was going to be done, he gave me some tips on things we could do for my ring in the future to prevent it from bending a prong again, and then we got the quote. Hands down the best place to get your jewelers fixed! They finished it in about a week and it looks better than when I first got it! The prongs on the center stone are perfect, and the ones for the side diamonds look amazing! They were able to smooth them down a bit but then add more material to make sure they are nice and snug! I emphasized my desire to make minimal changes in order to maintain its sentimental value, and Jorge completely understood that. The ring was ready within a week. When we picked it up, Jorge wasn't there, but Steven helped us and was just as wonderful.
