I finally needed a jeweler…read morebecause I bent a prong on my engagement ring and I decided to stop in because there were so close to me. Honestly they were so helpful! I talked to them about what was going on and how I also wanted to smooth out the side prongs because they were digging into my finger. They suggested I run it all through insurance first so we could get as much of it covered. I came back when I got the okay from my insurance and Dom helped me out! We discussed what was going to be done, he gave me some tips on things we could do for my ring in the future to prevent it from bending a prong again, and then we got the quote. Hands down the best place to get your jewelers fixed! They finished it in about a week and it looks better than when I first got it! The prongs on the center stone are perfect, and the ones for the side diamonds look amazing! They were able to smooth them down a bit but then add more material to make sure they are nice and snug! Can't recommend this place enough! I will definitely be coming back to upgrade my ring a little more!

Fred is amazing and is the definition of a consummate professional. I came in to have my watch…read morebattery replaced after 10 years of it sitting in a drawer. Other watch places quoted me $35-$48 bucks to change the battery, so I was shocked when Fred gave me a quote on Yelp for $12 bucks! I went to the store without an appointment, Fred welcomed me warmly, and even though 2 other customers came in, I was in and out of there in under 8 minutes! (He was able to help them too.) Aside from the great price and friendly attitude, Fred also noticed that there was some rust in the mechanism restricting the movement and he cleaned it out and added lubricant without even charging me. Really glad my old watch is working good as new again and am thankful Fred made my experience as smooth as possible. Thank you, Fred!!

I came back an hour later to pick up my watch and voila the watch was adjusted to be more accurate. Great! However, it was clear that in opening the case back, his tool slipped and caused deep scratching in the case back. When it was brought back to him, fred says when a case back is opened, some damage should be expected! I certainly did not expect damage. After insisting, he polished off the back but the scratches were too deep. Fred then says the deeper scratches weren't caused by him. Now you can trust me or not that fred caused the damage. But Id heavily suggest taking a picture of your stuff prior to work. Because if something happens, he certainly wont do anything about it. And I no longer think he's honest. He should remember his tool slipping and been upfront. Also they have case back opening tools that don't damage the watch. Id suggest fred look into buying that

We appreciated the help we received from Elena and Darya who were kind and pleasant to work with. However, our interaction with Fanya was off putting and left us feeling uncomfortable. During our visit, she spoke very confidently about the history of mining diamonds in a way that did not align with well-documented historical information we are privy to. The conversation felt dismissive of a serious subject and it made it difficult for us to feel confident moving forward with such an important purchase. When choosing a jeweler for something as meaningful as an engagement ring, trust and transparency matter a lot. While we respect that others may have different experiences, this interaction ultimately led us to continue our search elsewhere. Especially after noticing many of their negative reviews revolved around the owners daughter, this was concerning to us. We wish the business the best, but wanted to share our honest experience for others who are doing the same research we were.

Tina (she is so sweet!) talked to us about what we wanted and then introduced us to Terri who sat down with us to educate us about ring shopping. We were amazed by her knowledge and honesty. She was clearly not pushing a sale. It was obvious that she wanted to help us regardless of whether we bought from her. I have also fixed a number of items that I have inherited and their work is really good. This place has exquisite jewelry for a fair price. The quality of the pieces and deign is very elegant and timeless no matter how much you spend . I have visited other jewelry stores for similar priced items and honestly the other store items are low quality all around, not unique and the craft is not there, and I have been to many throughout the entire Bay Area and beyond. There are the high end branded stores, but you are buying the brand more than the jewelry. I am more about collecting beautiful pieces of high quality with a unique flair- it's the value that it represents. Details even in extremely small ways matter a lot. The service here is impeccable no matter if I purchased, simply admired the pieces, or was only able to spend a few thousands. I was never judged and they stand behind all their pieces. I appreciate the craftsmanship and wide range of price points available. I always have so much fun visiting. They have their craft down. It's so rare and fabulous to have a jeweler in the community like Joe Escobar.
