She has been coming to them since she was just a few months old and she loves it there. Great Communication and they are always accommodating. My furbaby has 7 blisters on her back!!! I only went because a co-worker is a friend of the owner. The appointment took 6 HOURS because a groomer called in sick. Then the owner accused my baby of being a rehab dog and told me she charged me extra for my baby being "difficult" while simultaneously boasting how great and experienced she is with difficult rehab dogs. All of that would have been bad enough and I would have just left it at that and not left a review. But, I discovered 7 different blisters on my baby. My dog, abused, rescued and left to rot in multiple shelters for close to 2 years, was not a fan of groomers or water to say the least. Then, Kim sat on the floor at the front door to make my dog comfortable and feel welcomed, I knew this was the place for my baby. All I have to say is wow! Kim and her daughter are absolutely amazing and kind people who genuinely love animals. Kim was recommended to me by my employer who rescues/fosters dogs and has taken multiple dogs there. My little girl Freya has high anxiety and I have a hard time just getting her to leave the house still. Kim specializes in rescue dogs and their special needs. It's so true! This women is amazing. I stayed with my pup for a little while so she didn't freak out and Kim was so kind and gentle towards her. She really wanted to make sure her first experience being groomed was a calm one. I truly appreciated that. After her bath and a light blow dry I felt comfortable leaving her at that point since I knew she was in good hands. Upon reviewing all of your responses from negative reviews, it's evident that you & Kim are experts @ diversion, not directly answering/addressing legitimate concerns, or accepting any blame on your part. Take under advisement to monitor your back office hygiene/sanitation. Hopefully none of your clients reach out to the local SPCA to inspect your facility, since you do service rescue dogs. I took my dog here twice for grooming . The first time I picked her up she had a very strong fragrance on her . I figured it was too strong for my dog because about a half hour after we left from the groomer my dog started scratching herself raw and had red patches developing all over her . I took my dog to the vet instead of back to the groomer, because I wanted professional advice and treatment. She was treated for a skin irritation. I figured this might have happened because she was cut so low and the fragrance was too strong for her . I notified Kim and decided to give this place another try . Also I'd like to mention the first time I took my dog here for grooming it took about 5-6 hours. I decided to pop in to check on her because I hadn't heard from Kim at all during that time . I walked in and just observed for about 10-15 minutes I guess no one heard me come in . Kim was a noticeably irritated that I just showed up her reasoning was my dog could have smelled my scent and could be accidentally cut if my dog tried to run to me . She mentioned she did a rescue animal that day that was very difficult and that's why it took so long . I did observe some things while I was there that are subjective so I will not mention it . I did decide to give this place another try . When I picked her up the second time Kim raved about how she only sprayed her scarf to avoid irritation. When my dog was walked up to the front I noticed she had another dogs dirty collar on her and no scarf . I did point that out and asked for the harness she came in with and returned the collar . After we got home about half hour later the same exact thing happened she developed red patches all over and was scratching herself raw . I did notify Kim and she insinuated that it could possibly be the shampoo I was using at home or the food she was eating . My dog eats what her vet recommends and uses the same shampoo since she was a puppy . She is now almost 2 years old . I have taken her to another groomer and this never happened before . It was uncomfortably warm in her establishment the second time I picked my dog up . Kim has a very big personality and dominates the conversation making it very hard to get to the bottom of what happened . I will not be returning to this establishment and I'd advise you to pay close attention to your pet if you decide to try this place out although I would not recommend it . read more

I've been looking for a groomer for my senior baby-girl that we love and is close to home. The search is over! Kim specializes in senior & special needs dogs. She and her staff will literally bend over backward to make your pup feel comfortable and safe. She spent 15 minutes on the phone asking questions and really listened to my concerns & instructions. AND for the same price I was paying somewhere else (where Lola was shaking as I parked in front of the place and didn't want to get out of the car). I really feel like Kim cares about your pup as if it were her own. She did a great job and sent me texts and pics: "Hi Lola did great and really enjoyed her massage during her bath. We started her grooming on the floor and then finished her on the table on low. She is such a sweetheart and is ready for you when you get off work." Kim came to the rescue for our rescue. Literally. Three days after pulling the sweetest little Yorkie off the kill list for The Animal Foundation, I rushed her in to see Kim for a fix up. Goldie the Yorkie had been shaved down due to severe matting. She was also suffering from end-stage chronic ear infection in both ears, itchy paws, a fungal infection around her genitals, and one really really awful haircut. Cutting a dog as matted as Goldie was is considered a health issue, so while I understand why the shelter did it, they did a terrible job. Also, poor Goldie was stinky and filthy. Kim went out of her way to get Goldie in right away, and I could tell the moment we walked in that this sweet girl was in good hands. Kim took her in with a warm blanket and soothed her, and when I went to pick Goldie up a few hours later she looked calm and her beautiful fur was in much better shape. Though Kim couldn't save her terrible haircut, she shaved her down and made her even, taking extra care around Goldies infected ears. Brought my dog once at like 9 am with an appt already scheduled didn't get a call . I called and was told he wasn't ready I showed up around 5 pm my dog still was not yet showered or groomed . owner was smoking a cigarette and drinking coffee . I than told her I would just take my dog somewhere else because she had him in the cage and stated he was fine and they were feeding him fries and cheeseburger which was not allowed by me . I than told her I would take him . She went inside and started holding him down with the daughter to cut his hair . I was very upset I still paid her but I left my dog for 8 hours and she did not do anything until I got there she went inside . It was unprofessional. I do not recommend it in my personal opinion . This is our 3rd time taking Harvey our PBGV to Kim's (yeah we have the same name lol) and he absolutely loves her and we love her as well! You can definitely tell that Kim and her daughter genuinely love and care for animals by the way they interact with them and the rescues and fundraising they're involved in. Kim and Brittany are the absolute best at what they do. We've taken numerous foster dogs and of course our babies and each time, they are beyond patient and kind to every dog. They treat your babies as if they are their own and take whatever time they need to to make them feel comfortable and safe.
