If i'm being honest, I very rarely will buy clothing at full price from a retailer unless it's a special event. With the cost of literally everything else being expensive, I feel like clothing is one of the areas we can successfully get bargains on. The shelves are a bit chaotic but they do have lots of items. It's always fun to browse and see what you might find-- sometimes even brand new in box! We bought my daughter a kids scooter which retails for $45 and was $14 bucks here... you can't go wrong! The irony of it is, this store is located in the former Leo & Sons Supermarket, these were people who cared about the community and went out of their way to help those in East Syracuse. Store would not take them back or refund me in any way shape or form even with the receipt (only a few weeks old) and the card the purchase was made on. Item was from that season, still in stores, unworn, and listed on the receipt. Out 40 bucks and stuck with high-water pants. Not trying to cheat the store, just would like to see more of a helpful policy for very reasonable situations.

The Syracuse, NY location is bigger than the one in Concord, North Carolina. They moved and we have been to that one to trade in and shop as well. Syracuse is very organized, well stocked, with plenty of variety from newborn up. Prices are very reasonable and they have special price days for specific items. There are plenty of friendly, helpful staff to assist in locating what you are looking for. Lightly used clothing, shoes, accessories, toys, and more. I still shop here and ship to them. The savings are more than the postage. Great place!

Each time, my experience…read morewas not that great because of poor customer service - there were four or five people working behind or near the counter, and none of them greeted or acknowledged me and carried on with their personal conversations amongst each other or ignored me to continue sorting through clothing and such. As a seller, I left with what I can only describe as a bad feeling. I brought in six bags full of clothing and a pack n play. After a few hours, I was alerted that they were ready to settle up. When I returned to the store, one of the workers brought out a bin with a small stack of my clothing and told me their offer. This person then explained why they weren't taking more of my items, but it seemed as if they were reading from a script and I felt like I was being lectured to because of the tone that was used. The pack n play was taken out of its bag and not packed back up properly. I should add that I went to the store with my baby in a stroller. I struggled to grab all 6 bags, the pack n play, and wheel the stroller out of the store and all the employees just watched me. No one even offered to open the door for me.

Probably cigarette smoke with some sort of coverup scent. Even the tissue it was wrapped in stank. I can't believe the person who packed it didn't smell how awful it was. I smelled it before I opened the package. I love Flax and there's not a lot of it still around so I took the trouble to try and salvage the jacket but you folks need to pay better attention to what goes out of your shop and the condition it's in. They might accept 10% of what you bring in but you'll receive less than $2 for each item. Last week they bought ten items (jeans, maxi dress, etc) for $16. They also collect a lot of information about sellers: name, phone, email, and residence address, yikes. Better to just give your unwanted clothes to your friends, family, and neighbors or donate to a women's shelter. Shopping: Full of plastic; barely a natural fiber in the place. Cotton is about 5% of the store, rarely see linen. Silk, wool, and cashmere are not sold here. Items are also highly patterned with flowers and geometric patterns. Out of the three times I've been here, I've only ever purchased one cotton shirt. The shirt was about $13 so cheaper than new but 2x more expensive than even a silk shirt at a thrift store.

I did not have an appointment but I could see why they ask you to make one, all of the fitters were busy when I came in. I was immediately greeted by Kinyorda, who is so cheerful and helpful. she helped me process a return for something I purchased at the Boilermaker expo, even though I didn't have a receipt. Harper was my fitter and she was very thorough and kind. I came in the store thinking I wanted one thing, and she helped me determine that I needed something different. Although I did try on the shoes I initially wanted it wasn't the proper fit for my foot. Harper did a full scan of my foot and asked me all sorts of questions about what kind of activities I did. I ended up trying five or six pairs of shoes before we found the right ones. Harper was very patient and knowledgeable about the shoes and their different benefits. I cannot recommend Fleet Feet enough. I had a great experience and will be back when it's time for my next pair of sneakers.

The try on experience was not fun.. we had a scheduled appt and felt SO rushed the entire time, the try on rooms are one right on top of the other- nothing private or calm about it. You're crammed in next to everyone else's wedding party and it was just chaos. The stylist was very blunt and kept saying things like "you won't like this one" "this isn't the one" "I don't know why you'd pick this ugly one" "people ALWAYS choose the first dress they try on" which we didn't do, it was actually the third.. but the constant comments took away from the special time. Even the stylist next to us was rushing her bride saying "you won't get through all these dresses, you're only allowed five" We left and my sister got in the car and felt like wow that didn't go how I dreamt it would. I came in 2 days ago to actually shop for a pair of shorts. As I was checking out, I had asked a worker what they were looking for in terms of styles. I was told men's clothes (which I will mention was emphasized) and summer clothes. I came in today with items the worker had just described to me as needed (including Lulu Lemon, Urban Outfitters, and other "on trend" brands). They took 3 men's shirts that my boyfriend destroyed. I honestly was thinking those would be passed on. The other 4 bags worth of clothes I was told were "too worn" or "not what they're looking for". After leaving, I noticed my clothes were still folded the way I had before bringing them in. Not to mention they mixed up my bags with my mother's bags and told me that "ya that happens". Screw this place.
