I take everything to Kim, from jackets to pants to shower curtains. She always gets it right and I've been happy with her for years.

If i'm being honest, I very rarely will buy clothing at full price from a retailer unless it's a special event. With the cost of literally everything else being expensive, I feel like clothing is one of the areas we can successfully get bargains on. The shelves are a bit chaotic but they do have lots of items. It's always fun to browse and see what you might find-- sometimes even brand new in box! We bought my daughter a kids scooter which retails for $45 and was $14 bucks here... you can't go wrong! I will forever love thrift stores.

They could take some help from the Salvation army on Erie Blvd. Merchandise is clean and sorted out on the shelves. I do stop in periodically to see if it has gotten any better but so far no. Not sure if the dressing rooms are open but when they were -nasty. Outside on the side dock, you can see stuff thrown all over. Cig butts and trash everywhere. Not sure if the people working there are all doing community service but obvious no one cares, and management obviously doesn't either. Seeing how they take care of stuff donated, have chosen to take it elsewhere. The irony of it is, this store is located in the former Leo & Sons Supermarket, these were people who cared about the community and went out of their way to help those in East Syracuse. This is such a pathetic replacement.

The Syracuse, NY location is bigger than the one in Concord, North Carolina. They moved and we have been to that one to trade in and shop as well. Syracuse is very organized, well stocked, with plenty of variety from newborn up. Prices are very reasonable and they have special price days for specific items. There are plenty of friendly, helpful staff to assist in locating what you are looking for. Lightly used clothing, shoes, accessories, toys, and more. I still shop here and ship to them. The savings are more than the postage. Great place!

As a seller, I left with what I can only describe as a bad feeling. I brought in six bags full of clothing and a pack n play. After a few hours, I was alerted that they were ready to settle up. When I returned to the store, one of the workers brought out a bin with a small stack of my clothing and told me their offer. This person then explained why they weren't taking more of my items, but it seemed as if they were reading from a script and I felt like I was being lectured to because of the tone that was used. The pack n play was taken out of its bag and not packed back up properly. I should add that I went to the store with my baby in a stroller. I struggled to grab all 6 bags, the pack n play, and wheel the stroller out of the store and all the employees just watched me. No one even offered to open the door for me.

It basically boils down to customer service…read more I scheduled an appointment and put my gowns I wanted to see in my cart for them to show me - all in my budget. When I walked in the door, I was ANXIOUS. I didn't bring my bridal party. I brought the two people who spend the most time with me - my 24yo daughter and my 5yo son. There was a Black-American employee that when I walked in, looked at my son and said loud enough for me to hear, "Oh, here we go" as she rolled her eyes. No one really greeted us at all. The girl that worked with me was sweet. It was her first day and she was very kind and caring. She told us to browse, but it's not like we knew where to look, what sizes, or designs. I've never done this before! My 5yo was the one that took the lead and pointed out dresses he thought were pretty. Ultimately, she only showed me 3 of the 12 dresses I had picked out and only 1 was within the budget I identified. All the ones that were in my cart were also within my budget that I could purchase same day. Although she was really sweet, did her high pressured sales tactics, I had made a clear statement that I wasn't buying anything for 24 hours after the appointment and I was sticking to it. The dress I was stuck on was the one the 5yo picked out. Kid has taste! Upon leaving, we had a nice chat with the rest of the ladies (except the Black employee who cut her eyes again and left), where I learned that they no longer get a commission. If you want to tip, take cash! Ultimately, I bought my dress elsewhere mainly because I was really clear on my budget and what I wanted to see and it really wasn't followed and as well as how my child was regarded. He was well-mannered, polite, and sat quietly until asked to help pick a dress. It left a really bad taste in my mouth.

The try on experience was not fun.. we had a scheduled appt and felt SO rushed the entire time, the try on rooms are one right on top of the other- nothing private or calm about it. You're crammed in next to everyone else's wedding party and it was just chaos. The stylist was very blunt and kept saying things like "you won't like this one" "this isn't the one" "I don't know why you'd pick this ugly one" "people ALWAYS choose the first dress they try on" which we didn't do, it was actually the third.. but the constant comments took away from the special time. Even the stylist next to us was rushing her bride saying "you won't get through all these dresses, you're only allowed five" We left and my sister got in the car and felt like wow that didn't go how I dreamt it would. What a shame. If you're looking for a budget friendly place- it's okay.. just know what you're going to get going in.. because it certainly isn't a great special experience. Really disappointed.
