Several years ago, my cat accidentally ruined one of my favorite cashmere/wool sweaters. I was really upset. I went online and found that Mr. Kim's shop received excellent reviews on Yelp, so I decided to try it out. He does amazing work! I no longer had the extra thread for that sweater, but he found something that matched so closely that you can't even tell there used to be a hole! I was so impressed that I've been going back for everything I need - hemming suit pants, taking in the waste of other pants, repairing dress shirts, he even hemmed my Grandmother's pants for my wedding (she lives in another state, so we told him the inseam we wanted and how we wanted them to look, and they came out fantastic!). What a treasure! I loved my former tailor but she just works too far away from me so I did not address my alterations as I wanted. Finally, I searched for a good tailor (using Yelp) and found Kim's Tailoring in Great Falls. Mr. Kim and his refreshing and professional personality is worth the trip alone. Even better, he does excellent work! I took in four slacks and a pair of black jeans that had flares at the bottom. My legs are just too short to wear these slacks with their bell bottoms, without also having to wear tall heels. I wanted these slacks to work with flatter shoes. He took inches out of the girth of the bottom hem line. Now they look fantastic and I'm kicking myself that I didn't do this sooner. Now I have good looking slacks I can wear casually or with heels. I've already brought in more clothing challenges for him and feel confident about making him my primary tailor. read more
