Sometimes, my family and I will drive to Ft. Worth solely for Charley's. This trip was also a food-dedicated trip and Charley's never disappoints! Patrons, inflation is real!! And it hit the F&B industry hard - so don't be alarmed to see that Charley's has raised their prices quite significantly and it's steep, but they didn't compromise on their ingredients! The project X was scrumptious, EVERY BITE. However, it looks like they changed their onion ring batter recipe or they had a bad batch, but other than that everything was delicious!

This is where you will find a classic American burger. They claim to have used Texas grilling techniques where each burger is crafted from thick, juicy patties that are grilled to perfection, ensuring a smoky flavor that elevates the overall flavor. They also offer classic dining experience having both indoor seating and a spacious patio especially when the weather is just right. It's really nice to have this hamburger option near me during lunch hours. I can't wait to comeback.

We tried the Blue Cheese Burger with Swiss cheese -- it was juicy and cooked well. Maybe could use a little seasoning in the meat but because we ordered blue cheese it took care of that for us. We will try different burger next time. My son ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger, and let's just say he inhaled it! The fries were spot-on -- crispy, golden, and addictive. No complaints there. The onion rings, however, were a bit of a letdown. They looked amazing -- huge, freshly cut -- but the batter was bland. A little seasoning (salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika... anything!) would give them that extra umph. The ambiance was fantastic -- cool and hip, a perfect spot to hang out. I only wish they served beer to round out the experience. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back!

Hot, fresh, just a good plain cheeseburger, fries and a chocolate shake! Picnic tables and a nostalgic sign make it feel like the places you'd go to growing up in FW. They are usually pretty busy, but the staff is pleasant. I recommend ordering ahead, unless you don't mind a wait.

Super cute little burger joint that serves some seriously good burgers. I stopped by and had lunch today and ordered the #2. Price was reasonable for the product delivered. Burger was seasoned well and tasted delicious and the fries are made fresh! Service was quick and I had to wait less than 5 minutes for my meal. All in all a great experience and I can't wait to come back and try something else!

$9 Grilled Chicken sandwich. Price of for sandwich alone. Small piece of chicken for that price point. Also my husband ordered a meal and they said it only comes with a "Tea" soft drinks are not included.

12-30-25. Sadly folks, I have to update my review of Charlie's. Which before was a gleaming 5 stars. However since Charlie's has taken over new ownership, the quality just isn't there. This used to be the place you would drive 10 miles for a good burger and great fires. Now, I won't even exit the freeway for it. The fries used to be huge, thick cut greasy fries, where those alone would make it worth the drive. Now it's just fry crumbs. And the burger Pattie's were individually seasoned and you could taste in every bite. Now, just thin cut fries like you get anywhere else and probably just a frozen patty thrown in the grill with no special touch to either of them. And to top it off. The prices have increased. Which is a good places death sentence to raise the price and go cheap on quality at the same time. That's a sure way to make people find other places. I paid $21.68 for a double meat burger and fries. No drink. I would happily pay that for the old Charlie's. But for this good, maybe $12.95. Better go back to the old owners practice. Or I won't be back.

If you are craving a good burger, you must stop by! We had an avocado burger I meant to ask for no onions but it was good with it! Also upgraded halfy order of the onion rings. Very delicious but kinda bigger than expected and the batter was a good taste! Cute patio set up! Restroom could be cleaner! Served fast and hot!

Ask the Community - Charley’s Hamburgers

    How are the corn dogs?

I went to Charley's tonight for dinner. I ordered my usual burger. Then, I remembered this question. How are the corn dogs?! I told the employees about this question here on yelp. None of them had eaten the corn dog. The burgers are just out of this…

Does anyone know if they will wrap the burger in lettuce instead of a bun? Edit: after some…

I don't think it's on the menu but I don't see why they wouldn't be able to sub the bread for you! They let me make some changes to my food, that seems pretty easy to do.

Nonetheless, I truly do feel that Rodeo Goat does it differently. Came here after work with some friends. There's quite an assortment of creative options. I opted for the Hot Bastard. To make it even more interesting, I got it with the Impossible Patty (per recommendation). Now, upon first bite, there's not an immediate heat. However, it slowly creeps up. It creeps up to the point where you do find yourself looking for a glass of water or just anything to help settle the heat. That's what I loved the most about this burger. Maybe it was the fresno peppers. Maybe it was the habanero cheddar. Whatever it was, I loved it. Now, in terms of the patty, I thought it was great quality. I haven't tried their beef patties to use as a comparison but I still enjoyed the burger very much with the impossible patty. Only qualm about it was that the patty did give way about halfway through. Though, I find that's on par with a good messy burger. Overall, would come again, especially with the immense variety. The next time, I will definitely look to try the Radio Goat - every purchase supports KERA, the local NPR station!

It's a seat-yourself restaurant, and the service was friendly throughout our visit. There are lots of burger options to choose from, so there's something for just about everyone. One suggestion would be to add a dedicated toppings section to the menu. When building your own burger, it's difficult to know all of the available topping choices. The only downside to our visit was that there was a very large dog dining inside the restaurant. The staff allowed the dog's water bowl to be placed on the table, and while the dog remained on a leash, several employees stopped to pet it before returning to refill drinks, deliver food, or check on guests. That wasn't something I was comfortable with and took away from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.

Apparently they are a former food truck that now runs the kitchen inside of Crystal Springs Hideaway. I ended up sitting at the bar with the Lindas (there were three of them). It was early in the day so I did not join them for a drink, I was just getting out to try something new and support the North Texas Food Bank. The special for burger week was the Zaddy which came with pickled red onion, lettuce, goat cheese, fresh jalapenos and raspberry jam on a potato bun. Their burgers are 1/4 and unfortunately the meat got completely lost under so much going on. Goat cheese and raspberry are powerful flavors and the jalapeno slices were thicker than the patty. I didn't even taste the pickled red onions. The very last bite was more meat than topping and I could actually taste the beef. It is a shame because it was really good. The quality of the meat and the sear on the burger were well done. Their regular priced burgers range from $10.50 to $14, and sides are extra. It is pretty steep for a 1/4 lb burger, and I would suggest something with a bit less flair.
