These bagels are average. I used to purchase bagels here for the snack stand during the soccer season when my children were younger and they were difficult to work with then. Just visiting them recently at my teen's request and nothing has changed. Rude enough service for me and my family to never come here again. I haven't been to this place since the pandemic started because I did not feel that they were very clean. I always had an issue with people touching the bagels with their bare hands or gloves and then touching the money with the same bare hands or gloves and then not changing them. This morning I was really in the mood for one of their egg and cheese sandwiches I was hoping that with the pandemic they had improved their cleaning issues. Unfortunately same gross habits still going on. Wearing gloves but making the bagels and taking the money. No changing gloves in between. Totally disgusted. Threw out my bagels as soon as I got home. I can't believe the Board of Health has not been notified about this place. It's really too bad because their sandwiches and their bagels are excellent but they're cleanliness standards are disgusting. read more

Wow, what jerks. You walk in, stand back because you don't know what you want (for less than 10 seconds) and they unapologetically yell at you while you are completely out of the way. yummy!!! Their bagels are those yummy bagels you always hear about in NJ. Nice, chewy, elasticy soft center w/a nice, crispy outer shell makes for a perfect bagel. Now add some taylor ham, egg n cheese and you're in heaven. Made fresh w/two slices of cheese a soft egg and ham... sure you can have oatmeal for breakfast, but why would you when you can have ham egg n cheese on a bagel? Not a big selection of bagel flavors, sandwiches or drinks, but the bagels here are some of the best I've ever had. They really have the right texture and balance of chewiness and softness. Gotta love a bagel place that does one thing and does it VERY well. I told them I was disappointed that they didn't have any Snapple lemonade iced tea, and two weeks later, there it was! Not giving them 5 stars because their pricing is weird. A few times they gave me a free bagel when I bought a few, and then last time, no free bagel. And I think the last time I was there, the cashier might have mistakenly overcharged me. (I pointed out the mistake, and it was fixed.) Also getting in and out of the lot is a nightmare. Not their fault, but ugh. But most importantly, EXCELLENT bagels. read more

As you can see from my other reviews, I knew that this place has the best bagels but was put off by their lack of hygiene. Well, I ran into the owner in a local supermarket. I stopped in one more time in early September and guess what? The employees now wear gloves when preparing the food and handling the bagels. Been going here for years and never had an issue until a few months ago. Bagels are always great, fresh, and hot. The bacon egg and cheese is a great treat. I came four times over the course of three weeks and had an issue each time. I specifically asked for just salt and pepper and when I got home there was a ton of ketchup on the thing. They actually had the nerve to tell me there wasn't any on there and asked him to show me the red eggs he's using. The next time I had the same issue, which isn't the end of the world but annoying when you have to drive back and get a new one. The last time was the straw that broke the camels back. I checked the sandwich in the car and it was missing the bacon. I walked back in and the guy gave me the dirtiest look. I asked if there was a problem due to the fact his employee had trouble making a bacon egg and cheese. The bacon was taken with his hand, placed on my bagel, and wrapped up. That was it. Apparently asking for what I paid for is a problem. You've lost my business. read more

I really dislike giving local places a bad review but sometimes it's hard to avoid. I've been living locally to this place for over 5 years and have given it a chance many times. But I have to say that I've never left there with a good experience. Listen, if you're from north jersey you get that bagel stores are fast paced busy places, no time for bs. But the service here is pretty bad, with the exception of one of the younger guys that works there. Seriously, so damn rude. My order has been messed up almost every time. Also, this place is dirty- dust everywhere, including on the bags of chips. So no thanks, I'd much rather go to Michaels in Oradell (Sunshine Bagels) or Goldbergs in Westwood. read more

About 10 bagel choices, which were cooked PERFECTLY. Super quick and accurate service, and nothing to complain about. We ordered 3 bagels with various spreads and a taylor ham, egg & cheese with mustard (the way to go btw), and everything was ready in under 3 minutes, plus cashing out. AW YEAH! This place has friendly staff and delicious bagels that aren't the size of your face which is a good thing to me. This bagel spot is extremely messy with bagel assembly and have been doing it for years, many of my close friends can even vouch for me when I say this. Whenever I go there I order a Taylor ham egg and cheese. Everytime I went to eat the sandwich its NEVER ever been cut fully through therefore I end up ripping half the bagel from the other half. The other thing is the fact that they overload the sandwiches to the point where you can't even enjoy the meal at times. This happens every time I go here, I bite the sandwich and literally half of the ingredients fall out of the other side and I end up having disassemble and reassemble the sandwich. read more

Nice people. Excellent bagel - by far the best around. I have been going here for 15 years. Everyone who visit me takes a dozen or more home with them. Large variety and almost always warm or hot from the oven because they don't sit in the bins. Out of the oven then out the door. I try not to eat carbs but these I can't resist. read more

This is my very favorite bagel shop! The bagels are delicious! I took some with me to college, cut them in half, and froze them. When I wanted to have one, I slipped it in the toaster oven and they still tasted delicious and fresh. Local privately owned bagel spot. The boyfriend and I just stopped in and he grabbed 2 plain bagels toasted with butter. The half a piece that I had was actualyl pretty good. They weren't rock hard or "raw". Nice breakfast deli. read more

I am only giving this place 3 stars cuz the bagels are great and fresh ... the only problem that really bothers me is the employee .. I'm sure she is a great lady .. but she obviously doesn't know anything about service... I ask for an everything bagel with cream cheese and inside scooped out, so she only wears one glove on her hand ... she starts scooping the bagel out with her hand that has no glove on...( so what's the point of wearing one glove if your not going to use it?) so then after she puts it in the toaster ... she literally coughed on her hand with no glove on..and it wasn't a small cough it was a pretty big one ... so she saw I got annoyed and she washed her hand cuz I noticed ... she then put a cough drop in her mouth ... I just told them forget it don't put anything in the bagel I just want it plain ... and I threw it out after ... I really hate throwing food in the garbage it is a sin, but I had no choice I did not want to get sick .... I doubt I will be going back for a while ... read more
