Really good. Blueberry muffin and bagel with the cream cheese & lox spread are 2 of my favorites.

You can never go wrong with a lox, cream cheese, tomato, and onion bagel!!!! The bagel was nice and crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside!!! The bagel ended up being a lot smaller than i thought it would be, especially since the lox bagels i usually get are pretty massively stacked. Still delicious though! Stopped by tenafly hot bagels and had one of the best breakfasts I've had in a while. Lox sandwich was a nice mix of lox, cream cheese, crunchy onions, salty capers and chewy bagel. All of their cream cheeses are made in house and you can tell. If you stop by, you have to try the homemade original croissant - I loved that it was more doughy than other croissants and the inside part was so chewy and flavorful. Simple, but amazing great bagel shop for breakfast sandwich or bagel! Highly recommend for anyone in the area! read more

This place is a hidden gem, super clean, and the bagels are always fresh. Most importantly, the staff is amazing and the owners always have a smile on their face and deliver a high-quality product. The price is are very reasonable compared to the area and everything just seems fresh here. I started coming here after having an encounter with a rude and obnoxious worker at celebrity bagels. It is the best decision I ever made. I have never had an order go wrong or an unpleasant encounter with anyone at this location I would highly recommend the flavored cream cheese, and definitely would recommend the Flagels as well. read more

I waited a few minutes before going in and I asked the woman behind the counter why she permitted these customers to order and she denied that there were any without face masks. First time visitors to the Northern Valley area may think that people in the area only eat bagels, as the area is scattered with bagel stores. There are 3 in Tenafly alone, but Tenafly Hot Bagels is the only place worthy of mention. Bagels are made on premise, and if you rise early enough (at 6 in the morning!), you will get fresh, hot bagels that can only be described as heavenly. As a true fan of bagels and a native of New Joisey, I know a good bagel when i have one. The only bagels worthy of competition are perhaps, bagels from H&H in the city. There is a great selection of homemade cream cheese and my favorite is the (rather simple) Veggie Cream Cheese on everything bagel. I am also a fan of their freshly-brewed hazelnut coffee, and tere is nothing like it especially on a chilly morning. Many bagel establishments in the area try fruitlessly to diversify their menus by offering way too much (with fancy names, of course), but Tenafly bagels truly specializes in bagels and they do bagels right. read more

I've been getting bagels from Tfly Hot Bagels for years and years. In my opinion, they make the quintissential bagel - perfect size (be sure to ask for well-done) and texture. Their egg/taylor ham/cheese has been a staple of mine. Sadly, the quality of their fish and cream cheese has gone down over time (in my experience at least). But for bagels, this place is tops. This is my favorite place to get breakfast bagels. They usually always have a good variety of flagels (flat bagels) here, which is nice. The service is mediocre, so don't expect friendly service. However, overall, I can't complain about how quickly they get your sandwich out to you. It's also a very small place so it's somewhere you need to go in and get out! I tried out Tenafly Hot Bagels today based on Yelp reviews. This is just an OK bagel. One of my favorite combinations is an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. Sure, you need many visits to brush to teeth and Listerine after, but, it's usually worth it. Lately, lots of bagel places have become really stingy with the toppings that make this an everything bagel. Well, sadly, this bagel was practically bare. At best, this thing had twenty sesame seeds, ten poppy seeds... and I think I may be too generous with those number. I've had a better everything bagel from the ShopRite in Englewood! So, I won't be going back to this bagel shop. Another thing that annoys me: they have a sign with prices on it. According to the sign, the bagel with scallion cream cheese is $2.50. They ended up charging $2.75. Even if they recently changed their prices, the shop wasn't busy- update your signage! If you really want a bagel to remember, head to BoxCar bagels at 10 River Road in Bogota... so far, the best bagel around. read more

Probably the best bagel place in town. I wish they had whole wheat everything bagels. I grew up going here periodically on weekdays and often on weekends (to purchase a dozen for the house). The weekday treat would be an occasional stop before school for an egg and cheese bags. Incredibly good. I also always loved their scallion cream cheese. Every bagel flavor is great. Good place . Low fat cream cheese , light tuna ,and fresh sliced nova . Bagels are normal size . Much better then toast for bagels and wraps . Bagels also taste better Imo. The prices are also very reasonable . Coffee better then toast also . So in comparison to celebrity and toast .
