I left a review for here YEARS ago because it used to be my go to , always good spot. I've noticed the last year or so they have gone down hill. the guy (maybe the owner? Idk) who is HORRIBLE. What should of been a delightful start to a cloudy Friday morning. Around 9am if I recall correctly, ended in dissatisfaction and empty tummys. Now as this location has a brother location in creskill(which I have been to and had excellent service) this counter part is a hollow cheap copy.... I came into uncrowded store which I believed would allow me to place an order as there was only three of us patrons in there.. I watched the woman at the front counter take drink orders one by one from the same customer, which took her extremely long to do..I waited for 15 minutes for her to continue neglecting my bagel craving and looked totally absent from her job..like a fool i waited for almost 20 min in a bagel shop and no one could take my order... I waited on line and watched while what seem to be regulars were called up to the side counter to order ahead of everyone who is waiting. There were only 2 other customers besides me and 3 workers so I was helped right away. I ordered an everything bagel toasted with scallion cream cheese for my man and an everything bagel not toasted with lox spread. These bagels were huge! Very fluffy though so probably the same amount of dough used for more dense bagels. The amount of cream cheese they put on the bagels were ridiculous. I should've bought one bagel with cream cheese and one without because there was more than enough to spread on another bagel. The spreads were very very tasty. This is my local bagel shop. These guys do a fantastic job and I have never been disappointed by a single thing I got there. They offer all of the normal bagel selections, and they have wraps, sandwiches, muffins, cookies and even flat bagels and bialys. I would suggest either the French Toast bagel, or the Managers Special: flat bagel (my preference is the Everything), whitefish salad, scallion cream cheese, lox, thinly sliced onions, thinly sliced tomato, sliced pickled jalapenos.
