We used King on our trip. They picked us up from the Airport and my wife felt extra special that they had a sign with our last name. Their dispatcher is very customer service oriented. Also both drivers were friendly and asked if we had any questions about the island. We have two toddlers and were able to secure two car seats. This made it easier for us not to travel and lug ours. Went out of state for my high school class reunion just this past weekend, and since about late September I was wondering how I'd get to the airport and back to home, and checked Yelp along with seeing the TheCab's tv commercial about their Kamaaina rates. I asked my brother who used a shuttle a few years ago that was a local franchise of a mainland firm, but then he said that it didn't receive that good of a rating. So I checked further and saw King Airport Shuttle's reviews. I inquired through email and received a response shortly from Rachel. From Hawaii Kai to the specific terminal drop off at HNL airport, it'd cost $49 each way...includes 1 carry on and 1 check in luggage. I agreed and confirmed that I'd like to be on the schedule and so was sent another email confirmation within a day. Come that morning, plane flight scheduled for 11am, pick up was indicated to me was at 7:30am...while waiting at home, received a call about 15 minutes earlier that he's on his way to my home. Was met by Manny (sp?) in a large Dodge Sprinter van, and asked if I was the only one? He said yes, wow...it was just like a private ride ! From Hawaii Kai to HNL airport, it only took 28 minutes --couldn't believe it, but then realized last week was a vacation week for public school students. He was very helpful putting my luggage in and very personable to talk to, had a great time all the way to the end. Upon return to HNL, my plane was scheduled to land at 2:20pm, as per instructions I was to call them to give them a courtesy caIl that my plane landed, but instead before I could do that I received a text from my driver that he'd be calling me shortly as he was on another line. Then within a few minutes Alex called and asked if I got my luggage yet, and told him we are headed to baggage claim. He said to call him once again after getting my luggage. Called him, and he gave me comforting instructions as to where to meet him (center median--though it was already stated on my email instructions, it is really good to hear it again). Alex, like Manny was a friendly person and we talked all the way from the airport to my home (between a few telecons he had with a customer and some co-workers). He came in a Nissan Quest minivan, and once again I was the only passenger so another private ride ! I was going to pay both times with my debit card, but instead paid by cash (to save the 5% processing fee). Highly recommend using this company based out of Kukui Plaza in town, I will use them again if and when I need transportation to the airport and back ! read more

We used King Shuttle services this month 4 times: to go from the Honolulu airport to Aulani resort in Ko Olina; from Aulani to the Halekulani in Waikiki, from Halekulani to Pearl Harbor, and from Halekulani to the Honolulu airport. Each time the driver was early and courteous. The vans (2 minivans and 2 white commercial vans) were clean and in good condition-all had effective air conditioning. The pricing was reasonable and comparable to what we might have spent on Ubers, but with more predictable results. Anytime you're dealing with the airport, having a driver who's knowledgeable about the complexities of airport traffic is important. I highly recommend King Airport Shuttle - and not just for airport transportation. read more

Excellent customer services and great communication. We booked a round trip shuttle between the airport to Wakiki. The drivers are very friendly and arrived on time. Making a reservation is easy and efficient. We had a party of three including two adults and one child. I requested a car seat for my child and they were able to accommodate. They were not there to pick us up at the airport when we arrived to Oahu...I had to call them. When booking they just take your flight number, arrival time and airline. No confirmation number , deposit or anything. Get a Uber! read more

I don't know how this has such high reviews. Our family van was 30+minutes late getting us from the airport. I paid for my daughters to have leis, which they didn't even have available when getting us. He stopped AFTER being late, bought the leis, then handed them to me in the plastic bag. It completely killed the vibe of arriving to Hawaii for the first time. Picking us up to go back to the airport, he had 3 large car seats in the van, so we gad to smash our luggage in and sit with our suitcases practically on us. read more

Friendly service with great communication! I made my reservation by phone and was sent secure links to pay ahead of time. I received clear instructions on where to meet the shuttle accompanied by photos of where to go. When my flight landed I immediately got a text from my driver who said he was there and to call him if I could find him. The luggage was taking forever to get to baggage claim and I communicated with the driver - he said not to worry and he would wait. I felt safe and comfortable in the vehicle. Right from the beginning KAS began commuting with me via text, either the day before or day of. Detailed instructions and even a photo of the area to meet at. When you are a person visiting an unfamiliar area (first time in Oahu), it really does help knowing your ride to pick you up from the airport will be there waiting for you. We had a group of 7 traveling with way too much luggage. Our flight was delayed twice. We had called the night before from the mainland to schedule a pick up. We have our flight info and number of bags we were traveling with. Within a few hours we had a text confirmation with instructions. Very fair pricing. The next day our flight was delayed three times. I texted updates, but didn't realize they were already tracking our flight. We barely touched down and my phone was ringing. Manny was at the baggage claim area already waiting for us. He told us not to rush and where we would meet him. A large 12 seat high top van was awaiting us. It was clean, cool and comfortable. This is definitely the way to go. I highly recommend.
