Mike is a seasoned technician who was able to fix several issues with my Honda CR-V, including the valve cover gasket replacement, oil leak repair, filter replacement, oil change, and battery replacement, all within a few hours. Thanks to his work, I'm hopeful that my CR-V will now pass the smog test. One thing I noticed is that they seem a bit understaffed, so there may be some waiting time. I had the Dodge Ram Hemi tick. Had it for about 5 years or more. Took it to Kings Auto car, They did a free all diagnostic assessment, and suggested to look at the exhaust manifold bolts that seem to break. That's what it was. Truck runs great Mike is a good dude. read more

I am impressed! I brought my 2012 Mazda 6 here for a transmission fluid service. Javier has a lot of experience with Mazdas so he quoted me a premium German transmission fluid that works with my car (most generic fluids do not!). The result is my 14 year old car with 250,000 miles on it shifts the best it has in years. The shifts are fast and smooth. On top of the fluid service, these guys did the best inspection that I have had a shop do on my car in years. They had some accurate recommendations and provided tranparent pricing for the additional services. No hard sells or anything like that. They have snacks and water in the waiting area Needs improvement: 1. The shop charged me $193 for a $145 sensor part from the dealer. 2. The shop charges extra 2.5% for use of credit cards 3. Diagnostic fees was not credited to the repair fee. Javier, service advisor, did tell me this before hand. 4. The shop charged me 1.5 hrs labor for about 30 minute job. King Auto Care opens early which is very convenient (7:30 am) and Mike P was already there. I needed maintenance for my Subaru and Mike broke down all that I needed for service. Clean place and reliable bc as a lady I know nothing about cars and if anything wrong they show you a picture of it and you can come back if you want to fix it after telling my husband. I like the fact they tell you and not pushy to make you feel like you have to do right there and then like other places I went to. I always get my car serviced at Honda, so I knew their claim wasn't true. Feels like they were trying to upsell unnecessary repairs. Mike (the owner) is a great mechanic who I'm going to start going to from now on. His labor rates are reasonably priced and he doesn't upsell you on anything that doesn't need doing. It's tough to find an honest scrappy mechanic who will take on bigger jobs and doesn't charge dealer prices. He also uses OEM parts when available to fix the issue, which is a huge plus!
