Neat, different, quality, and rugged class is my opinion of King Baby. The NASHVILLE Studio is located in a spacious facility in the Gulch. It's easy to find with easy to access parking. When you walk in you realize this is not your mall jewelry store chain. Silver, gold, black and artistic uniqueness fills every display case. I purchased a beautiful bracelet and ring from King Baby and the quality is unequalled. I receive compliments continually on my items. The fun part is that each item is unique and not seen being wore by everyone else. The staff are delightful and helpful- they are not pushy. I recently purchased my wife a beautiful rose petal silver and black ring which is unlike anything she has in her wardrobe. Well the place is nice, they have wonderful items but I am afraid this is for the rich and famous. I guess they had a place in L.A. before and a smaller place in Las Vegas. But wallet chains that cost over $1K is not my cup of tea. If you have the money, you might find something. I don't begrudge high end boutiques but unless I am making 7 figures, I could buy a lot of drinks and dinners with the cost of one wallet chain (not including wallet). Staff are very nice and gave us recommendations for good places to eat around the area. read more

This is really some studio. In a weird way, it was like walking into a biker-wear shop. Only a high-end one. The studio itself is very nice, open, bright, and decorated primarily with prints of people wearing the items or with the display cases placed so as to bring your attention to the main event: the handcrafted pieces. There's a lot of leather and silver and an inordinate amount of skulls used as decorative items. Maybe that's why I kept expecting to see the sign directing me to the motorcycle sales shop in the back somewhere -- skulls, silver, and leather like I see in bike shops. Oh, and then there were the t-shirts -- very Easy Rider-ish. On the other hand, as soon as I started mentally going down that path, the next display case forced a mental change of direction. There's a bohemian vibe here as well; with the beads, precious stones and metal workings reminding me of what you see in pictures of people during the Summer of Love. King Baby Studio is equal parts fascinating, unique, and pricey. It's not for the faint of heart. But it really is some studio. read more

What a beautiful surprise! We feel so fortunate to be able to meet Mitchell and Mike Binder, the head honchos of King Baby. This is my journey... On my 53rd birthday we decided to go to King Baby in Nashville. We live in Baltimore and the only reason why we went to Nashville was for King Baby, nothing else. We purchased our plane tickets and booked our hotel for this purpose and for this purpose only. Our trip was only for two nights and on our last day we arrived at King Baby at exactly 10:00am. We were the first customers and it was a beautiful, grand store. My daughter had explained to the store manager about the reason of our trip and Mike Binder came over and gave us a tour of their craft. We felt so lucky. I really appreciate Mike, he was kind and friendly. He explained the entire process in incredible detail. It was such an unusual experience. And to complete our incredible experience, the artist himself, Mitchell, came to give us such a warm welcome. Listen, there are a ton of skull rings but King Baby is so different; of course really cool but when you touch it and put it on, you feel something, an energy, it is different. You must touch it. They have many beautifully crafted works of art. I plan on purchasing more in the future. I really like their philosophy and passion about this business. I really respect Mitchell and Mike Binder.
