So as an update on my son training here for almost two years now, I can honestly say my initial expectations have been blown away. By far surpassing anything I thought imaginable of where my son would be at this point. At 16 and less than two years of training, he has several jiu jitsu wins and medals. With the addition of Grapplers Fight Team from Brazil, the competition style training is amazing. He has also went 3-0 in Muay Thai fights with the help of coach Isaias training him. Isaias is second to none with his aggressive style Muay Thai. I highly recommend this training for all ages. Whether it's self defense, competitions, or fitness, stop by. Best training I have ever had. Tried for years to improve my physique and get rid of stubborn belly fat and nothing has helped like this. In 3 months of Muay Thai training I went down 2 waist sizes from regular to slim fit. The cardio warm ups are top notch, the lessons are great but its the SPARRING that's the best learning experience. Real hand to hand training and practice. Down 2 waist sizes but up 5 pounds of solid muscle. And the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is an excellent supplement.And known as one of the best and deadliest combinations for self defense. It's been about a month since I wrote my initial review. Start going to King Cobra MMA is probably one of the best decision I made in a very long time. Not only I get to continue to work on my Muay Thai skills here but at the same time I started to attend the Jiu Jitsu class with coach Omar as well. Which I don't think is something I would have ever done if both discipline were not in the same gym. If you are looking for a place to train Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu or simply get in shape. You got to check out the gym. I can't emphasis enough on the value you get here for the monthly rate that you will be paying! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I have a few month of Muay Thai under my belt at a really good gym in San Marino, California. Due to recent relocation, traveling from Downey to San Marino is just way too much of a drive. I stuck with the commute for roughly a month but realized that 2 hour commute every other day just doesn't fit into my busy schedule. I have finally decided to find a second gym to train but some serious concerns were holding me back... Three of my biggest concern when finding a new place to train were: 1. Friendly environment. I'm not looking for a macho gym where everyone think they are a badass and looking for opportunity to beat my a$$. 2. Intense training. I been to gyms where the instructor spends 50% of the class lecturing. 3. Price point. This one is pretty self explanatory... ... .... After my first class today King Cobra MMA exceeds my expectation on all three aspects and more. Despite coach Isaias's only had his gym for a little bit over the year. He is very experienced as a coach. He first let his students lead through the warm up exercises, which I think is a great way to build one's confidence and also helping memorizing those exercises. Then when it's time to teach he is hands on, serious but also encouraging at the same time. Also the fact he have children classes that itself states a lot about the man's patience. In addition to the good coaching the tuition is also very reasonable at $80 a month for all morning classes. I have a lot of faith in this gym, and I look forward to continue learning the art of Muay Thai from coach Isaias. The only thing I kind of miss is the punch bags for bag work. This spot is awesome , had an amazing experience but unfortunately had to stop attending because of work schedule, amazing workout every class if u just want to get into shape, and there are plenty of sparring partners if u want to take ur game to the next level, both jiu jitsu and muay thai classes were amazing, i learned somthing everytime i went, and the price makes it even better, hopefully they upgrade the size of their gym n expand schedule to earlier classes in future haha read more

Real Koo spot to train or brush up on your Muay Thai staff and coach are nice and friendly to everyone and even people who train there are Koo and positive I like that makes you feel comfortable to make mistakes and learn recommend it for adults and kids,my son also comes here and loves it! read more

What can you expect from a place where the coaches and other probably staff drink beer while the children are practicing? I personally would not recommend this place because us as parents expect for our children to be receiving good examples as to discipline and training and apparently drinking beer during practice hours does not seem like a decent and exemplary place for minors to be in. read more

I came here to try out a class a few weeks ago and I was satisfied with the cleanliness of the facility, the equipment and the family oriented environment. Before I started training at King Cobra, I had joined other MMA and boxing gyms. I was looking for a gym that was not only able to teach me fighting skills but also a gym that was able to push me to my limits. Out of the 3 prior gyms I've trained, King Cobra is by far the best. Coach Isaias knows his Muay Thai and makes sure you get not only a good hard workout but also teaches good fighting techniques. The cobra workout is intensity at the fullest! I'm so happy I got to see it all over again. I feel so good about it, and my baby girl loves it so much more than I. You don't know how to make a new account but it is not even your fault that you have a little bit more than you. So greatness I leave here feeling like a little sister! They are the nicest people and never have I seen a coach or the owners be inappropriate or unprofessional EVER. I loved coming here I believed I was here for about 3 months or so , best coaches and peers , how much I would give to come back . But unfortunately I got injured had no job had to leave on a disappointing note and left out of state to find my self in Punisher mma in Utah was really great ,but nothing compared to King Kobra MMA helped me mentally and physically, if your looking for a great place to train ,learn, and be motivated I recommend King Kobra MMA .
