The sauce on the boils was thick and flavorful .. my last two times I've been dissapointed , i dont Know if they have a new chef or what but the sauce is too soupy, it does not stick, too runny. Not only that but once i told the manager that my potatoes were not great he took the two potatoes that i didnt eat and still charged me!! We came around 2 on a Sunday and to my surprise the place was empty.. the food was so amazing and very affordable . We ordered bucket number 3 I believe which came with 1 pound of shrimp 1/2 pound of sausage 2 corn and 3 potatoes we added two boiled egged to .99 cents each and had a basket of fries also had a bucket of beer and still paid under $60. The waitress checked on us constantly and offered recommendations when needed very attentive and offered different sauces. I cannot raved about this place the enough and I pray that they get the business that they deserve! read more

There a lot of good things about this restaurant. Management, service, serving sizes, presentation, great staff. I don't like giving less than perfect reviews but the recipes need to be adjusted to be Cajun as advertised. Maybe we should have ordered crab to give an honest evaluation. My guest liked the catfish basket, prepared well. Okra was very good. The Gumbo was cooked as if it were Chinese soup. It was backwards in creation. My evaluation is it started with a broth soup, added the chopped Holy Trinity and meats, heated until done. Gumbo starts with the Holy Trinity and a roux is cooked. The veggies are all cooked transparent and tender and lost on the mix. This gumbo was crunchy veggies. The fried potatoes were promoted as Cajun Fries. We did not taste a cajun seasoning. The fried calamari was dipped in a fluffy flour based coating. The batter for fried calamari should be flour and cornmeal, this is what helps make the battering thick and crunchy, not soft and chewy. The other customers seemed happy with their selections. Maybe come back later and try other menu items. Prices are good for portions. read more

I am so happy my husband and I decided to try this place out. We were heading to another plc like this one down the street, but we saw "Jammin Jaylen" holding a sign for king Crab and though we should check it out. And now, until the end of June, all orders is 20% off. When we arrived we were greeted with a kind welcome. The aroma from the food was taken over and we knew we made the right choice. Amy was our server. She was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed. I made the mistake and ordered crawfish. She went the Xtra mile, went in the back and put on gloves and showed me how to eat them. She even offered to peel every single crawfiss I thought that was so thoughtful but quickly learned and went ahead and did it myself. The food was great.
