A friend suggested meeting her here for some crawfish. She let me know that they are BYOB ~ there is a liquor store in the strip ~ however I asked for water when I sat down and was brought a bottle of water and a cup of ice. I ordered 3 pounds of crawfish as they had a special - the waitress made it seem like the spice level was at 100 so I went with mild Cajun . . . Disappointed doesn't even start to express my feelings. The crawfish were a good size however they lacked flavor. I sucked the head and tasted water. We also ordered potatoes and corn however had that done in her seasoning. The potatoes are a good size. I wish they would give you a bucket to throw your shells in as I'm not a fan of tossing them on the table. I personally feel like there are lots of other places who have better flavored crawfish so I'll likely go there versus coming back here. read more

My cousin and I were out having some girl time and needed lunch. King Crab Paradise was around the corner from our nail salon in S Arlington. The interior was very clean and the staff were very attentive. They gave us these cute plastic bibs and gloves which I greatly appreciated. I ordered a #5 bucket that came with snow crabs, potatoes, 1/2 lb of shrimp and corn. After adding two boiled eggs my total was about $40. I was hoping it had sausage in it but overall it was decent. The portion size was in line with the price. Tip: garlic butter flavor is literally butter with minced garlic in it so if you want actual seasoning order the Cajun or another flavor. Food was ok, served with plastic forks, styrofoam plates (had to ask) and spoons. Ordered ice water and they brought bottled water and they charged us $0.99 per bottle. The house seasoning blend was tasty but we ordered "mild" (mild, medium and hot were menu options) and it was way too spicy! My wife couldn't eat much of it. This was a messy experience (as most Cajun seafood boils are) and while they offered plastic gloves and a bib, didn't offer wet wipes at the end so we both had to go to the restroom to wash up afterwards. My only negative would be there was not a bucket provided for garbage or anything. My second time here and I ordered the same, fried combo with oysters and catfish. I did have the broccoli that was on the appetizer with garlic butter, which was great. I enjoyed the garlic butter on my broccoli. The sweet tea was cold and sweet. The service was great, very nice and attentive, however, when my combo basket came out. It was fried hard. It was hot and fresh, just came out of grease, but it was fried a little too much like it was overcooked, so I told our waitress that I didn't like it. It was fried too hard. Even my husband's catfish basket was fried too hard, so they took it back. They did ask if we wanted to scratch that from the ticket or make it over. We said we wanted to make it over and we weren't in a rush. They made it over and everything was fried to perfection. It tasted great. It was hot. It was fresh. Even the manager came out and checked on us and made sure everything was to our liking. I do like this little location spot. I ordered the "bucket #1" + an additional pound of crawfish (KC paradise flavoring, mild spice level) to go. The wait wasn't long and food was still hot by the time I made it home. I had the boiled crawfish - hottest spice they offered, and their most popular flavor which is three different flavors mixed together. IT WAS SO GOOD. Crawfish was purged and cleaned really well. The boil was flavorful, buttery, not too salty, the heat kept building with each bite and the meat was cooked just right. It was absolutely delicious. My Saturday Lunch, I been here before a long time ago and the customer service of the Mother and Daughter was amazing! The first friendly faces I see was the two Duo again with an add face another one of her daughters. This Mother looked younger than her Teenage Daughters they are so friendly and polite excellent customer service. I got the 3lb crawfish special for $15.99. I decided to eat a pound there and take home the rest. I'm glad I did because I'm not a fan of all that extra butter, garlic, and seasoning on my crawfish. I like just plain Louisiana Crawfish Boil period!!!! I ate the first pound which was KC Paradise flavored again too much for me but they were delicious so if that's your preference you would definitely love it! I sent my other two pounds back to be lightly washed off and re-seasoned with just Louisiana Original when I tell you I wanted to go give that cook a hug they were so delicious! So make sure you order the right flavor because they were delicious, full of flavor, and they were HUGE! You could taste the freshness of the Live Crawfish I didn't have not one soggy crawfish head. I sampled some crawfish from King Crab Paradise while visiting a friend. While in Arlington today, I decided to give them a try. They had a special of 3lbs of crawfish for 15.00 or a pound for 5.99 . I chose to get 4 lbs of the Cajun action at the spiciest level and also ordered a custom combo with fried catfish and shrimp. I asked the young lady taking my order if the it was real catfish or another type. She stated that it was real catfish. My orders came up and I checked my food and I as I suspected, it wasn't real catfish. I decided to give it a try and pinched a bit off and the fish was old! In addition, the shrimp were entirely too salty so I requested a refund hence one star being deducted. Overall, the customer service is good, the restaurant is clean and I'd recommend sticking with the boils and NOT the fried foods. I'll definitely return during crawfish season for more because they were 10/10! So good that I failed to take a pic. read more
