Came here on a Friday night and it wasn't particularly busy. We were seated immediately and our waiter was efficient and attentive. I ordered the hurricane and it was a delicious drink. As for starters, we ordered the crawfish dip and it came with tortilla chips. We were expecting fried chips (as the picture show) but that wasn't received. The dip itself was decent but it's not something I would order again. For mains, we went with a seafood boil (crab legs, shrimp, and added sausage and mussels). We decided with a mix of flavors and kept it mild. Overall, the boil was ok - I wouldn't recommend the mix of flavors and stick to just one. The seafood did seem fresh, though. We also ordered a fried combo basket with catfish and wings. I did enjoy this dish and would recommend the catfish. Overall, we had an ok meal but I doubt we'd return. I usually get "Triple Your Lovin's" Boil Bag #1 with 1 lb. of snow crab legs, 1/2 lb shrimp (with or without the head, still with the shell on, not deveined). My friends have tried and liked the fried platters, and the catfish was yummy. I love the po' boys as well. The shrimp po' boy is one of my usual to go orders. The ambiance is chill and relaxed - the tables are spacious and have nice space between, the booths have high backs and provide privacy so that you're not staring at someone else while you're wearing a bib tearing into crab legs. The huge boat bar in the center is a very iconic piece of decor. You won't forget it. I went in there with my friend and her two kids, and my son. All of them under three. When the waiter had came up to us, he was extremely rude. Obviously, when one kid would cry the other two would too, so he started shushing them telling them to be quiet then he didn't come around so often because he was so annoyed with children when he gave us the plate of food it was disgusting. We got a mild seafood boil with Cajun seasoning that included lobster shrimp a pound of snow crab for about 180 the food just tasted off. It was disgusting. I've been to a lot of crab restaurants, this one was by far the worst. Not only the food was horrible, but so was the service not kid friendly. It really disappointed me because the place looked very nice then they didn't even have half of the stuff on their menu so absolutely would not recommend. read more

I was really disappointed with my visit to King Crab House. I didn't feel well after eating there and asked about a possible refund or at least some kind of help. Instead of being understanding, the manager, Lou, was very disrespectful toward me and acted like my concerns didn't matter at all. They told me I couldn't get a refund unless I had a doctor's note, which didn't make sense because most places try to help their customers if something goes wrong. I left feeling frustrated and unheard. I expected better customer service and respect, and unfortunately, I didn't get that here. Ordered what was promised as "Fresh King Crab" and instead was served dried out, bland, crab... This was the worse crab boil I've ever had. I ordered #3 add sausage and eggs with all seasonings. The sauce was very sweet ( no need to put sugar in a Cajun boil) and the sausage was nasty with no taste, not sure what that was. It did not look or taste like sausage. Smh shrimp was over cooked. My husband and I decided to stop being on a whim Sunday, August 12. As soon as we walked through the door, there was a really strange smell that I could not identify but I knew it wasn't seafood. The guy at the counter, young guy, seated us and the waitress came over and was very friendly. She went to go put in our food orders and the smell was still super obnoxious. I'll look over to my left and on the the wall was tons of old seafood boil splatters. It looked disgusting. I turned face my husband as much as possible. He pointed out to me again and I told him honestly I'm trying not to look at it. I told him this place is a bad smell he asked was I comfortable eating there? I said no, let's go. We walk to the counter and paid for his drink. A young couple was coming in as we were walking out and the young lady said you this place smells terrible, I'm not eating here. We told her we canceled our order as well. I told my husband when we got in the car if I place can't even give me the illusion of clean I will never eat there because there's no telling with the kitchen looks like. Food is great! Usually we'll go to the boiling king crab on Arkansas but we decided to give this location a try. I had the boil #1 and my boyfriend had the salmon. Both were very good. I feel like the arkansas location sauce for the boils taste better, the sauce here is darker like more tomato paste. The reason I gave this place 2 stars is because our server Robert needs more training. He took forever to get everything and he would just hang out at this one table talking!! We had to beg him for the check and when he dropped the check off he just thew it on the table. Didn't say thank you or anything. First impression: there's plenty of seating, clean environment, nicely decorated. We waited about 10-15 minutes to be seated and another 10 minutes for a waiter. To be fair, we noted fairly quickly there was 4 servers (one including the hostess), but it was not a big deal to us, so we waited. If we would've made the trip to boiling crab it would've been a longer wait, so we are still winning. There was other people with bigger parties, if that's you, go ahead and reserve a table ahead of time. I will like to add, that the staff was working really hard to take the orders and get fresh hot food to tables quickly. All this to say, they did a great job with the amount of staff running this busy Wednesday. Hopefully, they can get more staff in the future. Food: we ordered Cajun HAWT shrimp, crawfish, snow crab, and fries. Great flavor, spicy but not unbearable. I personally preferred this seasoning over Mr. Crab in Arlington. Family and I wanted to try this place out and we were in the area. I'm giving this place 3 stars because of service. We entered the restaurant and were promptly seated and given menus. However, it took more than 10 minutes for a server to greet us. I'm glad we usually know what we want to order every time we go to one of these dining establishments. We placed our drinks and food order at the same time. It took about 20-25 minutes for the food to come out. The food come out hot, looked fresh, and we ordered House Special and "Hawt". It was spicy but doesn't beat XXX from Boiling Crab Dallas. They were busy but management should zone (section) out there tables. They had servers assigned to the next available table and that makes no sense as the servers cannot keep eyes out for their tables efficiently. This caused many tables to wait too long to place orders and a few customers had to walk to the kitchen and request refills while servers were running around with their heads chopped off. read more
