That nail broke within a week and color started peeling off. It's not even 2 weeks yet and my nails are already chipping and color is massively peeling off. I'm used to shellac lasting me 3-4 weeks. This is the least they've ever lasted for me. You could have thought they were just regular manicure no shellac. No attention to detail or professionalism. Didn't like Mimi. Pedicures were great! Shortly after that visit, I started noticing inflammation, pain, and irritation around my toenail. At first, I thought it was just temporary sensitivity from the pedicure--but it never improved. Fast forward to now (March), and the issue has still not resolved. After looking into it and dealing with this for months, it's very clear that I developed a fungal infection, along with ongoing inflammation around the nail. This has been frustrating and honestly upsetting, because something that was supposed to be self-care turned into a long-term issue that I'm still dealing with months later. I can't say exactly what went wrong during my service, but I would strongly encourage this salon to take a closer look at their sanitation practices and tool hygiene. Situations like this shouldn't happen. This place is beautiful if you choose to come here, but please be cautious and pay attention to how tools are cleaned and handled.

Afterward, my wife respectfully spoke to the manager and explained that the situation could have been handled differently and privately. Instead of acknowledging that, he gave several excuses and defended his behavior. I then spoke with him myself and asked for an apology, but again there was no accountability -- only more justification. As a customer and as a parent bringing my family into a business, I expect a professional environment where employees are treated with respect. The experience left a bad impression, not because of the staff member helping us, but because of how management handled the situation. If you value kindness and professionalism, this was disappointing to witness.

Which is just a tactic to avoid accountability. I've been coming here for over a year, have gone through multiple stamp cards, and always use the same phone number. Yet when I came back about my pedicure, the rude lady at the front suddenly acted like my number "wasn't in the system" and like she couldn't recall my original visit for the pedicure and dip set I had literally gotten less than 24 hours before. The pedicure itself was horrible. The polish looked bad on every toe, and I came back just hoping they could at least fix the big toes. I was told the wait would be 30-45 minutes and ended up waiting over 2 HOURS just for the tech to attempt painting over the messed up polish instead of actually fixing it. When I questioned it, the tech said the front desk employee instructed her to do it that way. The entire experience was unprofessional and dismissive. And before they try to blame regular polish, I let my toes dry for 30 minutes at the salon and wore flip flops for over an hour afterward. From the pictures, it's obvious this was a bad paint job/layering issue, not something that got messed up after I left. There is no way you'd be able to tell this is a fresh pedicure. Basic customer service and a decent paint job shouldn't be too much to ask for.
