Posting this on Yelp too since I've noticed that when this salon responds to negative Google reviews, they like to deflect and act like customers are reviewing the wrong place. Which is just a tactic to avoid accountability. I've been coming here for over a year, have gone through multiple stamp cards, and always use the same phone number. Yet when I came back about my pedicure, the rude lady at the front suddenly acted like my number "wasn't in the system" and like she couldn't recall my original visit for the pedicure and dip set I had literally gotten less than 24 hours before. The pedicure itself was horrible. The polish looked bad on every toe, and I came back just hoping they could at least fix the big toes. I was told the wait would be 30-45 minutes and ended up waiting over 2 HOURS just for the tech to attempt painting over the messed up polish instead of actually fixing it. When I questioned it, the tech said the front desk employee instructed her to do it that way. The entire experience was unprofessional and dismissive. And before they try to blame regular polish, I let my toes dry for 30 minutes at the salon and wore flip flops for over an hour afterward. From the pictures, it's obvious this was a bad paint job/layering issue, not something that got messed up after I left. There is no way you'd be able to tell this is a fresh pedicure. Basic customer service and a decent paint job shouldn't be too much to ask for. read more

The shellac refill is listed as $44 but they charge $5 extra for all shapes except square. They also charge $5 extra for short nails which is dependent on your nail beds??? I've been coming here for a few months before I realized this since I normally get several services at once. I will not be back. I won't bring anyone back and I will not recommend this place again. If you want to charge $55 for a refill then just list that price on your menu. read more

The front desk employees need to conduct better communication and policies. I arrived 10 mins late to my appointment (traffic on Barker Cypress) and when ai arrived I was told my tech was no longer available. One of the employees stated that if you don't check in by 10 mins your appointment is removed from the system. How was my tech no longer available if my appointment was at 11:30am and it's now 11:40am?! A courtesy call would have been appreciated. I won't be returning or referring anyone to this establishment! read more

Highly recommend this business. Great location in Cypress right next to H-E-B. When we walked in there was a clean front of business with all of the nail polish colors, neatly arranged in a glass case with lighting. We were able to select our treatments prior to being seated, and I was told the price of everything upfront, which I really liked. There were no add-ons like some other places. My nail tech was Lynn and my daughter got a pedicure by cherry. I really wanted to try the cat eye nails so Lynn took great care of me! My manicure looks amazing and the chairs were so comfortable. I love the set up for the spa and the pedicure chairs were very cozy and new. You are welcome to get a drink of your choice with alcohol at the bar or even coffee; I did not partaking this as it was an early morning appointment. But a friend recommended me and she said that the drinks were great. All in all great experience and I will be back, especially for Lynn to do my nails. We were able to get manicure and pedicure with gel polish for a total of $110. Prices may vary as I also got the cat eye on my nails enjoy! read more

I've been a loyal customer of this salon since it opened, and I've always been pleased with the service, especially Vivian's gel manicures on my natural nails. However, my recent experience was very disappointing. Today, I went in for a gel soak-off and was quoted $20 by the receptionist. As Vivian wasn't available, I tried another technician named Lina. Unlike my previous experiences, Lina mainly used a drill to remove the gel, with only one brief acetone application lasting less than 30 seconds. This was different from the thorough soak-off I was used to when I saw Vivian. When I inquired if they had switched to drilling instead of soaking, Lina offered to drill my cuticles, which I declined. The entire process took less than 5 minutes. At the front desk, I spoke with the manager to express my concern that the soak-off wasn't properly done, as Lina's drilling had caused one of my nails to break. The manager consulted with Lina, who stated she had to drill because there was powder on the base of my nail. I explained that it was just gel, but the manager sided with her employee. While I understand supporting her staff, I felt my request for a soak-off was not accommodated. Additionally, there seems to be some inconsistency with the pricing. I inquired about the "nail take off" service listed on the menu, and the manager explained that the listed price only applies if the service is for nails done at their salon; otherwise, there's an additional $5 charge, which she clarified was for a soak-off. However, I didn't receive a proper soak-off. The manager stated that the technicians determine the soak time since they know how to do their job. The manager was not present to observe the service. For her to make me feel like my feelings were not valid was disappointing. I was disappointed that the manager didn't apologize or acknowledge the broken nail. Previously, I happily drove 40 minutes for the excellent service, especially from Vivian. However, this experience makes me reconsider whether the drive is worth it, especially if the service quality is inconsistent and the menu prices aren't transparent. I have been a loyal customer since they first opened, but they're so stingy with their discounts and stamps. You have to legit spend hundreds of dollars just to get $10 off on their stamp card, which is ridiculous. I came for my birthday set and asked about the birthday discount I saw on their website. The girl asked if today was my birthday, and I said no, it's in three days. She said she couldn't give it to me. I explained that it's unreasonable because what if you're out of town or don't have the time to come on your actual birthday? She just laughed. Other salons I have been to give you a 3 day grace period, which I find reasonable. They promote their promotions very well but there's always a catch. It's hard to find a salon that has technicians that actually do a good job on your pedicures. The only downfall to this shop is customer service isn't great and there's usually always a long wait. They don't let you make appointments unless it's at least 2 hours out. Which from a business standpoint I understand, but from a customer standpoint it's very inconvenient. Honestly been looking for a place to get pedicures regularly, so I will be coming here more frequently. read more

I had a terrible experience at this nail salon. Going to get a pedicure is supposed to be relaxing and enjoyable, but this visit was the complete opposite. I repeated at least five times that I wanted a powder tip on my big toe, yet the technician ignored me and put shellac on it instead, and didn't do the service I asked for. On top of that, she was rolling her eyes, visibly annoyed, and very rude, which made the whole situation extremely uncomfortable. I truly don't know how I could have been any clearer, but I still wasn't listened to. What should have been a calm, enjoyable experience turned into something stressful and disappointing. The salon itself is nice but let it be known that they will not provide upfront pricing. Even with photo and discussion each time I find myself with no idea of what the total will be at checkout. We visited for a birthday nail set for my minor daughter and be aware that a passport was suggested for birthday verification of a child too young to have an id. The goal here is to not honor advertised discounts. I also suggest waiting to let them know if you have any reward stamps to redeem until you have your total or it seems more unexplainable cost are added to offset the difference. On two occasions I asked for regular polish for my daughter's toes, just to find they did shellac which turns a $12 polish charge to a $30 fee. $140 ($50 for full set + $5 for take off + $85 for design) for the white set, and $95 ($50 for full set + $20 for length, and $25 for design) for the black set. I have no problem paying and tipping very well for our services however I have a HUGE issue being treated as if we shouldn't want to know the total before agreeing to pay. No customer should be met with rudeness for simply asking for pricing information period. read more

My wife made me get a pedicure with her as she goes here monthly to get her hands and feet done up. I did that and it seemed like a normal experience, albeit it seemed like more money than two other places she has taken me to over the last 6 years. The day following the pedicure, I woke up with pretty bad big toe pain. By the following night, my toe was infected. I followed normal infected toe protocol and had some leftover amoxicillin from a previous surgery so I did a quick 3 day course of that. The infection seemed to go away but came back after 3 more days. It go so severe that I had to go to an urgent care (after 5 days of cleaning it and following infected toe protocol) in hopes to get more antibiotics. They ended up removing a good chunk of toenail because the infection was too bad. My wife just went back for her pre-valentines nail care and brought it up to them and their response was "oh, we're very sorry". No sympathy, care, or even a small discount for my wife. I could give a damn about the money but there was no gesture whatsoever to make amends on their behalf. They'll be losing $250 a month from my wife and mother-in-law no longer going. I can't stress to anyone enough how much I hope you do not go to this place. You may get unlucky like me and have to deal with the costs of urgent care and antibiotics and the follow up with podiatry that I will have. A $60 pedicure is now a few hundred dollars and hours and hours of unnecessary toe care. Stay away. read more

Saw this place on TikTok and absolutely loved the decor and how beautiful it looked, and it's so much pretty in person it's so fancy. Came in with my mom and we both got the pamper pedi and it was so nice and relaxing, Chloe and Dawn did an excellent job with the massage they took their time and really massaged my calf. This place was awesome. I was able to walk in with no appointment and be immediately seated. I got a basic manicure and a level 2 (forgot the name) pedicure. Both were perfect and the hot stones leg massage was a great addition to the regular leg massages I'm used to getting at other spas. Their attention to detail and great work ethic is also worth noting. The entire staff was very friendly and the complementary adult beverage was great. The entire facility, including the restroom, was very clean and the spa decor was very modern and pleasing to the eye. Lovely decor. I do dip nails and nails are relatively short and almond shaped. The third time I went to them I was charged for "shaping". Not only was it not done very well, the manicurist used a used file. When I went to pay, I was charged more than I had the previous times. I came into this nail salon with high expectations because I usually go to the same salon at a different location. Oh boy was I wrong! Me and my girls went to get our toes and our nails done and initially I did not expect to be paying $70 by the time I walked out. I got a fill and I also had to get a replacement nail because one of them had popped off due to another nail salons work. While the technician was doing my nails, I was asking her to break down the price and tell me how much everything would be. They didn't seem like she knew what she was quoting me and she was just throwing out numbers. She said it would be $45 and then she changed it to $50 without explanation. Then she proceeded to say because the length of my nails was already long which they weren't that long would be an extra $15 mind you she did not have to reshape anything so since she was quoting me $15 for a shape that was already there I told her she could cut down my nails because I was not paying $15 because my nails were already like that. so then after I told her to cut them down, she said it would still be $10 which is unreasonable regardless and then the fix would be another $10 and then for two hearts on my nails that would be an extra $10 design fee. The technician was so rude. She had an attitude when I asked her about the student discount that they were having mind you the owner did not include the student discount at all in my total the technician rolled her eyes at me and had a problem with every question that I asked, as well as the people doing my friends pedicures. They also had attitude problems as well, and they expressed this to the technicians after going to check out, I asked him to break down the price and they called the girl that did my nails to tell them what was going on and she laughed. I will never be going here again and they can take the $70 they got for me, but they are never getting my service ever ever ever ever again. Bye-bye Spartan nail spa! keep that $70. Over charged and rude! I paid $70 for these because I did not like the French tip and was told during service to have a deeper French tip is extra. I was already paying $20 extra for the French tip. So I declined and asked to just have the white tip removed, they told me it will still be the same price. And when I asked just for one solid color they said an additional $16 for that. I got an ombre full acrylic set for my baby shower (I've never had my hands done by them before). I got them done on Wednesday and my shower was on Saturday. 3 days. 3 says between and they already started lifting. It's now been a week and im just so disappointed. I also got a pedicure (the pamper me pedi) which also hasn't lasted like my previous visits. I've come here a few times and my pedicures had been amazing but this visit left a lot to be desired. The quality and overall cleanliness of the salon was wonderful & the staff were super friendly. However, it is on the pricier-end (of course assuming because of the salon quality).
