I visited King's Nail Spa with my husband for my birthday, and I truly regret coming here. I haven't been to a nail salon in over four years, so this was supposed to be a special experience. Instead, it turned into a stressful and unsanitary mess. My gel manicure was done poorly from the start. The technician left my nails packed with drill residue and powder and did not allow me to wash my hands. He simply rubbed nail oil over the residue, which felt like an attempt to cover up the fact that the set wasn't clean or fresh. Once I washed my hands later, I realized the nails already looked like I needed a refill, and the gel was cracking and lifting almost immediately. On top of that, the technician was cold and rude. I asked for a specific design, and what I received was not what I requested. When I calmly asked if he could fix it, he told me no. My pedicure was just as bad. The polish was crooked, and the technician cut my cuticles so aggressively that my toes were bleeding. Shortly after, both my husband and I developed infections and irritation around our nail areas. That is completely unacceptable and extremely concerning. I reached out within the first 24 hours and tried to resolve the issue respectfully. I contacted them for seven straight days with no solution. I even offered to accept half of a refund, despite the fact that I left with damaged nails and infections. They refused to take accountability and kept insisting I come back, even after I explained I do not live in the same town. When I disputed the charge with my bank, the salon told them I "received the service," and my dispute was denied. When I called again, the person I spoke with twisted the story, lied about our communication, and tried to argue semantics instead of making it right. Please be cautious. I tried something different today and went for a brown-orange cat-eye design for fall. The atmosphere inside is spacious and relaxing. There's so many workers that you shouldn't have to wait too long. You're limited to one complimentary drink, they did give me two. They also gave me a $20 discount for tagging them on Instagram and sharing post. I really like the cat eye style and the nail tech talked me into being festive with the fall colors. I made an appointment with Lena and when I get there I find out she double booked me so she passes me Off to someone else . Annoying but no big deal I'll just wait an extra 25 minutes.. FUN. Also note i came two days prior but i couldn't get my design because they were rushing me out and asking me to pay for the service before it was even finished . Anyways i come back 2 days later to get the design i initially wanted and they charged me 85$!!! she said 55 of that was for the color change ! I had a wonderful experience today at King Nails! James was my nail tech, and he did an excellent job. He was very gentle with my hands and made sure to triple-check everything. My nails came out so neat and beautiful! Every time I come back, I'll definitely be requesting James. I also had a pedicure, and although I can't remember the name of the lady who did my toes, she did an amazing job as well. The overall price was $181, but with their discounts, my total came to $156. My nails were originally $125 and my toes were $56, but with the discount, my nails came to $100. Overall, great service, attention to detail, and a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend! read more

I have visited King nails for a few times now since moving here to pearland. I have been extremely satisfied on the quality of work for the price they charge. However thats NOT the case as of today 5/3/2025. I will NOT be coming back here. I brought a friend from out of town to get a full set with designs and pedicures. They proceeded to complete the design to the best of their ability but my friend was just not happy with it. The flowers were to big, the lines in between petals could be more like the inspo picture and more of the smaller detail lines to have more of a gradient effect. I don't mind paying the money for quality work. The tech couldn't do the job and the business should have provided solutions to fix or remove it so we were happy with what we paid for- which was $116 for medium french tip with design. When we were discussing our request to remove flower designs or getting a different tech to fix/redo flowers - we were told it would be extra for a new tech to remove or fix designs because our tech already left for the day. As a business providing a service- this left a bad taste in my mouth and therefore don't recommend coming here to spend your hard earned money here- i definitely will not be back despite coming here for months now. I visited King Nail Spa today for a pedicure since I wasn't able to make it to my usual spot in Sugar Land. Upon arrival, I was greeted and seated within a minute--there was no wait time, which I appreciated. The nail technician who did my pedicure (unfortunately, I didn't catch her name) informed me about a promotion: if I went to their Instagram and tagged 10 different people in the comments, I would receive $20 off my service for today. According to their service menu, a pedicure with Shellac and paraffin wax is listed at $70. Based on what the technician told me, I assumed I would be paying $50 after the promotion. However, when I went to check out, the cashier told me the total was still $70 and when I asked about the $20 off, he basically gave me a gift receipt for $20 off my next visit I don't believe I should've been charged the full price, as I wasn't clearly informed about how the promotion worked. Pros: number of chairs, hours, quick service, overall cleanliness. Cons: Confusing and high pricing, organization and lack of non shellac nail polish, can be loud because of size of venue. I only get pedicures and I find that the job is good but the pricing can be nuts. Also, there's HH pricing but no matter when I go in, it's HH so I feel they use that to give the illusion of a deal. I have been to this location a few times for pedicures only!!! I will say someone helps you pretty quickly which is good! However, some of them, not all, don't use gloves when doing your feet which is a huge red flag to me!! That makes me not want to go at all. Pricing is weird they will say it's happy hour so it should be 60 and still charge you 100 for getting your feet done and then up charge for gel polish on top of that. I'd rather do it myself, at least then I know I'm not getting toe fungus and overcharged. Some not all will rub your shoulders, offer a blanket or pillow if you're wearing a dress, offer you a drink with or without liquor.. it's really hit or miss. read more

I come here all the time and typically get my nails done. Those experiences have always been good. Yesterday, I took my daughter so we both could get a pedicure before she went back to college for spring. It started out well enough. We were seated quickly and next to each other, which typically doesn't happen when we go to get our nails done, and then offered a drink; again this sometimes happens, but for the most part it doesn't. As they are prepping the basin, they ask us which pedicures we want and showing us the menu. They tell us they are still doing happy hour pricing even though the menu states it's only Monday - Thursday, I think from 2-4, I don't recall the times, but since it was Saturday, it's irrelevant. We both pick our pedicures and everything is lovely, until they give me the ticket. They charged us both regular price. I showed the menu to the woman who did my daughters pedicure, because at this point the man who did mine had jetted because another man came and told him his appointment had arrived. (This other man came back several times asking how much longer, which I didn't appreciate being rushed. I understand there is an apportionment, but i am paying also , and the guy was nearly done). I reminded her of which ones we selected and they were the ones who told us us it was happy hour pricing. The woman then replied happy hour pricing was only certain pedicures, but not either of the one we had chosen. I reiterated they didn't say this initially, but she kept going round and round with her same response. I gave up and we grabbed our stuff to go pay. I told my daughter to go and start drying while I paid. I'm guessing at an attempt at redemption, the woman said I could use my points and I said no. The woman working the counter then took over. I handed her my card and told her how much to charge and made sure to mention how much tip for each tech. She then looked at me dumbfounded and asked why I didn't pay in cash. I said I don't keep that kind of cash on me, (keep in mind they have now upcharged EACH pedicure by $12 and then I added tips for each tech). You can use the ATM she said, pointing to it. I said no. She said it's free. I said no again, y'all may not charge a fee, but my bank will, so no, please run my card. Looking annoyed, she ran my card. I signed and reminded her how much tip for each tech, the woman who did my daughter's was still standing there and heard and said thank you. I went to go dry and did the spray, but it didn't help and my polish still smudged after all this. I understand Saturdays are busy, but all of us are paying customers and this may be a special occasion for some. So, when you rush us, pull a bait and switch regarding the charges, make us feel like we are inconveniencing you because we are paying by card (which you now have to claim since it's not cash), then finally have a bad turnout, you ruin the special treat that we may have been looking forward to. Went to this location for the first time in Pearland with a friend, Channa Simmons, on 3/3/2024. As my nails started growing out from the pedicure, I noticed my toenails were very dark. So I let them continue to grow out and by the end of April, my toenails were turning black. Dr. Gordon placed me on Terbinafine 250mg for 3 months and, had to take a liver test to ensure my liver was healthy and strong enough to take the antifungal medication. I fired my last nail salon (Milano in Pearland) a few weeks ago so after multiple Google searches I decided to try King Nails in the Target shopping center. I made an appointment the day before for 530p with Emily. My first thoughts were the place was extremely congested and very busy. Lots of color options to choose from. I was greeted when I walked in, they asked me to select my color and escorted me back to a pedicure chair where I sat for 20 minutes before anyone helped me. I was not offered a drink while I waited or updated. Minnie finally came over to do my pedicure. She showed me the list of options and it was clear they push for the most expensive options. I paid $80 for a mediocre pedicure. I kept inquiring about my nail tech Emily whom I had never met before and I was told she was doing designs on another customer. I told the manager I had an appointment for 530p. He said he knew and she would be over soon. She came over to me at 630p. I showed her what I wanted. She did a great job with the shape and I liked her but the prices at this place are outrageous. It cost $55 for a fill in and an additional $20 for a few rhinestones on 2 fingers. As if that wasn't enough the person at checkout barely spoke any English and although I said it was my first time there she did not explain their process to me. Apparently they prefer cash payments therefore they only offer rewards based on a cash payment which I did not have. She told me to go to an ATM. She did take me card reluctantly. And I wasn't able to leave a tip. I tried to make another appointment and she told me I have to call the day before because they don't take appointments in advance. Will I go back? I was going to go to my regular nail shop in Pearland this morning, but they never opened and I couldn't wait any longer so I came to King Nails. I've passed by this nail shop many times when I'm out shopping in this shopping center it's located in. I'm happy I came in today! The customer service was excellent. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. A gentleman had me check in and I picked my color and a nail technician was ready for me right away! The technicians that provided my service were great, they did a great job on my hands and feet. There was also a nice young woman that was walking around and making sure all guests were content and doing well. My favorite part was the warm neck pillow and the wine I was offered at some point.
