Save yourself the money, and find another salon for the quality you receive here. Pedicure was awful, like the worst I ever had in my 39 years of living. No massage, didn't remove ANY dead skin from my legs or feet (let alone calluses), and the regular paint job was chipping in 6 days! The only good things were the staff's friendliness and I didn't get a fungus or any cuts. $50 for the "delux" pedi was beyond a waste of $ and the special "scent" didn't have ANY smell or relaxing quality, either. Just fair warning you will pay more money for a gel pedicure than comparable salons. Despite paying almost 70.00 for a gel pedicure my pedicure did NOT last even 1 week. When I came back to get it fixed I was told I had to have the same person fix it otherwise I would be charged! Charged?! Really?! So, I sat for 45 minutes and waited to have one toenail redone. I am SUPER frustrated. Over the weekend I went to Posh Nails & Spa in strongsville to get a much-needed pedicure. Throughout the pedicure my tech was extremely rough, asked me if the water was too hot and when I said yes she ignored it, when I lifted my feet out of the water she told me to put them back in, when she gave me the towel and asked if it was too warm, I again said yes and she ignored it again. Sunday morning I woke up to blisters and burns on my feet. I reached out to the salon, only for them to tell me they had no record of me being there, that I must have the wrong location. I do not think it's my responsibility to go out of my way to have card refunded, when there are so many places able to refund without you being present. I don't need to right their wrong. When they finally looked into it and acknowledged that I was there, they never apologized (I had provided them with pictures) and then told me I could come back for another service of the same value (which I politely declined) and then they said I could be refunded but only if I brought my credit card back in to the salon. Maybe I am over reacting, but long story short i would not recommend going in there. read more

A list of pros and cons is easiest: Pros: - First impressions (salon look) - Leg and arm massage - Offers you water Cons: - longest pedi mani of my life (last 3.5 hours) who has time for that!? - Took two hours for the cleaning portion of the pedicure and didn't even scrub the callus part of the bottom of my feet (see picture) my feet are rougher after the pedi. I know they aren't pretty but they literally left the bottom of my foot looking like that - Got there at 9 am and mentioned I have another appointment in Strongsville at 11:30 (2.5 hours with me being the only client should have been plenty of time) But that seemed to make them work slower (I didn't get out until 12:15) - missed two steps of the painting process and didn't even use a polish, just the clear coat - quality of the pedicure was bad - Does not accept credit card tips - if you use a credit card they charge you $6 Needless to say.. I had a horrible experience there yesterday with Ellie. I have been going to a Posh for my nails for quite some time and never had an issue like this but Jen, my regular technician, was out on medical leave and Ellie was a fill-in. I was getting a new set and I had to get the old ones off and she asked what shape I get. I told her Square rounded. I knew we were going in the wrong direction when she put stiletto tips on or whatever the pointed ones are. I told her that those are not the right ones, that they are too narrow. She insisted that it would be fine. I told her that I do not think it would be. She still insisted that it would be fine and that she would only put acrylic on one nail to let me see how it would look, but in the meantime she did put tips on all of the other nails and wasted a bunch of time. So as it turned out, after there was acrylic on only one nail, no, it was not what I wanted and the nails were too narrow. She argued and try to convince me that it looks more natural the way that the narrow nails were on there, not to mention they were much flatter than what my natural nail was (on top). I told her that my natural nail does not look anything like that and the other tips fit my natural nail much much better. She continued to argue with me and say "no that this looked much more natural", and I continued to argue back and say that "no, my natural nail does not look like that." So she threw her hands up and said "well I don't know how to do that, I'm going to have to get someone else to do it" and walked up front. 30 seconds later, she angrily came back and said "there is no one else to do them, I am going to have to do them." She proceeded to roughly cut off all the tips and rushed me through the rest of my appointment, putting on the correct tips. She did a horrible job. My nails, on some fingers, are pointing upwards, as if it was a talon on a bird. My natural nails are normal and do not do that naturally and I have never seen them do that before. On other nails, they were just put on crooked! I have never, in the 10+ years of consistently getting acrylics/gel done, had anything like this happen to me. I still did leave her a 20% tip because she spent so much time with me even though it was her fault. But I will never step back into this establishment again! Posh just lost a long-time customer! If I could give 0 stars I would!!!!! I had a really bad experience with one of the nail techs, Dean. He did a fabulous job on my nails, however during the appointment he was making really inappropriate comments on my body, saying I need to eat more vegetables, I need to avoid fast food, etc. He also made EXTENSIVE comments on how I need to start having children right now because I'm running out of time and it won't be possible soon, he probably talked about this for 90% of our appointment. Even when I told him I didn't want children right now he wouldn't stop making comments on how I'm running out of time. I am a healthy female in my 20s and it is extremely disheartening that in 2024 men are still giving unwarranted, and most importantly, unwanted opinions to female clients about what they need to do with their bodies. Especially when I am fully aware of the female timeline considering I work as a nurse in the fertility field. He is extremely lucky I am not going through a terrible fertility journey/medically cannot have children because if it was anyone else they would have stood right up and walked out, which I contemplated doing because I was so offended. By the way, this was my first time in this store, so in my opinion that makes it substantially worse. Safe to say, I will not return as well as my, appalled, friends/family I have warned about this experience. read more

First impression it's very nice and the decor is welcoming. The receptionist does her job nothing more and not very welcoming. Never smiled the entire time we were at the salon. We had an appointment but it turned out to be a 2 hour venture. I knew coming in that it would be a bit rough because I hadn't gotten my hails done for 3 weeks and I get them done in California. And we all know that no manicurist thinks anyone else does a nice job but I wasn't prepared for the rudeness of the salon manager. He decided I only needed a fill after seeing my nails even though I made an appointment for a new set. The young woman that started was a bit confused why the said I only need a fill too. She started to take off my nails without soaking them - I was good for a bit but after the 3rd one I said enough - she was sweet and apologetic. The manager then decided he'd help me but began lecturing me on what type of nails I had and what I needed done - clearly I knew this and kindly reminded him he decided to change what I needed. He then sat me and has area - he spent the entire time on the phone, barely spoke and made it clear he was irritated. We're in town for a funeral and unfortunately I need them done or I would have left. Despite his behavior I still tipped him generously which he made zero effort to acknowledge. If the owners of this salon read this I'd urged you to send your manager to a management / hospitality course. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I just left there after getting an extension and dip. It's the worst I've ever had. I asked her probably five times for almond shape and they are round. I think I have one finger that is almond shaped. I have different lengths on nails and different widths. The technician also hovered over me while I was paying. I was disappointed as a first time customer on treatment at this nail spa. They accept walk ins and appointments, and I walked in at 6:20pm signed my name and sat to wait. I was told if I didn't have an appointment they couldn't take me until 7:15. I said I would check back in and left to run errands nearby. When I came back a little before 7:15, there were about 10 more people on the list and the same guy told me he couldn't take me now. I repeated he told me to come back at 7:15, and he claimed I said I wasn't coming back and still wouldn't accommodate me. I spoke to a woman and repeated my story, saying I left because I wasn't going to wait an hour when I could come back at the time I was told. They again basically said too bad - not an apology or attempt to make it work. But the 10 other people magically were taken care of. Not planning to attempt to be a customer again, terrible customer communication and service. Find another salon. read more

I came in at 7:10PM they were so nice to fit me in with JIA! The polish selection was amazing and wide they seem to have more for gel and i would love to do that on my next appointment. The salon was clean and they take cards but is cash tip only, - They have multiple nail stations and pedi stations and it look pretty amazing. They do recommend an appointment in the future when i came in they do work with acrylic nails and can do pointed nails. The prices are great! The entire staff is highly skilled and listens to your every need, whatever it may be big or small. Curly is the best, he has his eye out for any imperfection, he goes out of his own way to make you comfortable & satisfied. I would have to say he is a perfectionist. I went to Posh to get a dip and a manicure and a polish change on my toes. The dip was rushed and sloppy. Didn't even last eight days and the nails were lifting from the bottom. Called to come in to get them fixed and they could not get me in. Called the next day when now even more nails were lifting from the bottom and I asked to have them fixed by a different technician. They refused and said I would have to pay for them. Dips are supposed to last a minimum of two weeks. I couldn't even get eight days out of them. Receptionist was rude and nasty. If you would like to have your nails last longer than a week, I suggest going elsewhere. read more

It was really nice inside and only $35 for dip, but within two days one nail had chipped and in less than 2 weeks, 4 whole nails just peeled off. I was referred here by a friend, so I definitely had high expectations. I made an appointment for my friend and I to get a mani/pedi together. We showed up and my friend was immediately seated for manicure and I was taken back for a pedicure. She told me it would be a few minutes. I sat in the chair without someone so much as acknowledging me for over 20 minutes. My water was cold and there wasn't even a towel for me to dry my feet to get out. People were brought back and being started on while this was going on. Finally at the 22 minute mark of me sitting there, I saw a technician casually walking back and saw me getting out of the water/chair. I asked if he would be able to check to see if my friend was almost done as I didn't want her sitting waiting on me. When he comes back and tells me she is indeed just about done, I started getting shoes on. The one pedicurist next to me - seemed apologetic and asked if maybe I just wanted a polish change instead. I was pretty annoyed at the lack of customer service so I very quietly just said no thank you and that I was a little upset. She apologized (even though it was not her fault) and I walked up front. I stopped and the front desk to express my concern about being left sitting for over 20 minutes without someone just letting me know what was going on or checking on me- the front desk girl was the rudest and snobbiest person I have encountered in a long time. After basically smirking at me and very condescending saying she "told me it would be a few minutes", it really got me flustered and I explained a few wasn't 20 - and she proceeded to tell me they had an "incident" earlier and they were behind. Not in an apologetic way- because if that had only been explained, it's understandable. But nothing was communicated and as I said, I had booked joining appointments. After I said something along those lines she just stared at me with the snottiest look on her face and said "well I don't know what you want me to say". To say I was speechless was an understatement. I could not believe how rude, condescending and snobby she was behaving, especially because of how calm and quiet I was speaking to them. The guy who was supposed to be my technician I am guessing, was standing next to her as well and after that exchange I was standing there waiting for my friend to dry and they both blatantly were talking about me under the breath and laughing, as I was 5 feet away. I could not believe the behavior of her and it's unfortunate that someone like her is the front desk/face of the business because she was the most unprofessional, snobby, condescending person I have dealt with. When my friend left one of the other technicians that saw this situation unfold told her "please tell your friend we are so sorry". Nice that some of the workers have some customer service but too bad their front desk person lacked the same very basic customer service skills. Customer service 101, at least APPEAR apologetic and that you are trying to rectify a pretty crappy situation - not like you could care less or be bothered by the fact that someone is a little upset they were left sitting, in cold water, none the less with no acknowledgment after they took the time to reserve time and was told there was plenty of time around the time frame you requested. I will say, after I stepped outside, I called the Spa 7 across the street. Night and day, very welcoming, friendly staff and they got me right in. Beware of this salon! Went there today with much excitement to get a full set of acrylic nails done. Their website wording indicates that walk-ins are welcome (as most nail salons do). There were several technicians sitting around when I got there and when the owner/manager asked who could take me, they all looked around at each other and basically passed me along to a guy who shrugged his shoulders and mumbled 'yeah ok'. Whatever, I can see past that. I then sit down while the tech looks carefully at my nails (no polish/slight chipped edges) and says to me 'Are you on medication or are you ill??? Why are your nails so brittle?!?!' Pretty sure any normal human who types all day and then comes home and cleans and does dishes doesn't always have the greatest nails! So, I bite my tongue and look past that! Then came a laundry list of things that went wrong with the service: uneven nails (after several times of asking for them to be filed more), noticeable ridges from the terrible acrylic job, super thick acrylic and several air bubbles from what appeared to be an old top coat. i just wanted to get out of this place as fast as possible! All I kept thinking was - I should've gone to where I get my pedis. (Espres salon) THEN as if that weren't bad enough, I came in with just my debit card as I always do at nail and hair salons, only to find out you can't leave a tip - cash only I was told. When I said to the manager 'I'm so sorry, I don't have cash on me' he responds with an eye roll and says 'maybe next time' and walks away from me. This place didn't even deserve a tip, but I was going to give at least something anyway. I'm so not a picky person and I've also had many manicures and acrylics in my life... Worst experience EVER!! I went there to get a shellac polish for Thanksgiving the day before. By that evening 3 of my nails were chipping off. By Thanksgivings morning one nail had most of the polish off. It was closed for the holiday so I made an appointment to go back the day after to redo the polish. When I got there they treated me horribly. I was told by the manager it was my fault that my nails chipped. He said I must have done something to mess them up but I had a shellac polish and that should not happen. I have been getting shellac for years and never had it chip and my nails started chipping the day I had it done. The manager argued with me and told me they don't guarantee that the polish won't come off. I will not ever go there again. Got acrylic pink and white by David. Not nearly as good as the reviews had said. The acrylic is uneven and the shaping is terrible. He made the acrylic wider than my nail bed. I had an appointment at 7 and they started locking doors and turning off lights when I was only halfway through getting my acrylics done. They were nice but the job was rushed and very sloppy. I am so disappointed with the way I was treated at this nail salon. My three daughters and I have been here for nail appts and parties in the past. I had a hair appt across the street and thought I would run my teenage daughter there for a fill while I was at my appt. In their defense I did not make an appt thinking we would be fine at 3:30 on a Tuesday afternoon and I knew it would be fine if she waited a little while. There was NO ONE waiting and no one on the list above us. The receptionist started with a snotty attitude and said she couldn't take her. I said "ever" and she continued to look through her book and say at 5:00. I questioned that there was no one waiting and no one on the list why would I have to wait an hour and a half? She offered no explanation and was not at all nice or apologetic. I said maybe my hair salon could get my daughter in and never tried to over apologize or care!!! I ended up making an appt for my daughter at 5:00 and I told the reception that I felt she really didn't even want our business. She still never apologized or felt bad in any way. Who treats a customer this way? I ended up getting my daughter in at Ashley Adams. And I will never give Posh my business again. I am 44 years old and i have never written a negative review before. I had a gel polish, all nails seemed to have different shapes, and the cuticle area was messy. I went home and reshaped then. Person doing them was nice, but seemed to have better things they could be doing. The nail file that was used on my nails was black at some point, but because of how many times it was used was grey/ white looking and my buffer, along with the file and nail clipper was just pulled out of their station. Files and buffers are suppose to be thrown out after each use, as they can't be sanitized and clippers should be disinfected after each use. I told them I wanted a manicure but person doing it didn't seem in the mood to give a manicure and started filing my nails just skipping the manicure and then asked if I wanted one and I said no just forget it. read more
