King Pollo was my spot to go when I was working at the 7eleven off state college because they were right next to it and it was very convenient for me to head over during my lunch break. The staff has always been friendly but now that they are under new management nothing has changed. Which I knew the new management before they took over the place. Still great service and the food is one of the best parts as well. My go to place since 2013. Their teriyaki chicken oh man it's really good, served with white rice and salad on the side. This plate is a good serving size plate nothing small. Definitely recommend them, they also do catering. So check them out! Not only do they give you quality service, remember you're supporting a family owned local business, nothing better than supporting our local businesses. To make it clear King Pollo is under new management and the location moved from where they had first started, next to the 7 eleven. King Pollo as you all see is on Lincoln and State College.

I've tried this place a few times now but have never deviated from the half a chicken combo but today decided to try their teriyaki bowl and it was quiet tasty. I would go as far as to say it rivals the local WaBa / Flame Broiler. The chicken and beef are both seasoned well and have good texture. Rice is sticky and sauce isn't over done. While I still love their chicken combo, I can definitely see adding this in to the rotation of lunch choices.

    Dry

Not worth spending your money here the meat super dry bean taste nasty the potatoe salad dry as well

Boba drink options are now available.

Their chicken avocado salad is my favorite thing to order when I want something healthy and delicious. It's a lot of food too, so you won't be hungry again in an hour. They take a rotisserie chicken and chop up a good amount before putting it on top of a huge pile of romaine lettuce, tomato slices, some carrot slices, and a generous amount of avocado. Beware, there are occasionally some bone pieces in the chopped chicken. If you check in on Yelp, you can also get a free drink with your salad. Awesome deal all around.

Come in here with $7, get the lunch special and you're set. Great food and they keep the same consistency on their food every time.

Scotty took what was already a great date night and made it truly memorable. Not only was he the best server we've had since we started dining at Puesto, but I'd go so far as to say he was one of the best servers I've ever had anywhere. Scotty had a calm, understated demeanor that was part of his charm. He was genuine, attentive, extraordinarily kind, and somehow managed to keep my Diet Coke with lime full the entire evening. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and was always there at just the right moment. Best of all, he laughed at my dad jokes. While the food was outstanding, Scotty made the experience even better. His service elevated an already great meal into an exceptional evening. We will absolutely be requesting Scotty's section every time we visit Puesto Anaheim.

If you're looking for a fresh, modern take on Mexican cuisine, this is definitely a place to check…read moreout--whether it's for a date night, business dinner, or just a casual meal. The restaurant is located in the middle of Downtown Disney, with the entrance tucked off to the side. Just make sure you don't mistake it for Centrico! The service was amazing from start to finish. We were greeted by a hostess downstairs, who then had another hostess upstairs escort us to our table. Since the dining area is upstairs, you can either take the stairs or use the elevator. Our server, Alyssa, was incredibly attentive and helpful. She gave my fiancée some great recommendations and helped her make a few choices. The gentleman who brought out our food was also very informative and took the time to explain each dish as he delivered it. The food and drinks, from the appetizers all the way to dessert, were amazing. We started with drinks. My fiancée ordered the Maya-Tai, while I got the Sangria. We both enjoyed our drinks, but we ended up ordering two more glasses of the Sangria because we liked it that much! The first food item to arrive was the half-dozen oysters (not pictured because we were too impatient!). They tasted incredibly fresh, although we did encounter some shell debris in a few of them. We also shared the Pulpo Enamorado, which is grilled octopus served with tuna aioli, salsa macha, and pickled vegetables. This was one of our favorite dishes, and I highly recommend it as a shareable small plate. My fiancée ordered the Enchiladas de Pollo--shredded chicken wrapped in corn tortillas and served with salsa verde, avocado, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and queso fresco. I ordered the Lamb Barbacoa, which was slow-cooked and served with a pinto bean purée, mint jocoque, sweet pickled jalapeños, and a side of corn tortillas. Both entrees were absolutely delicious. The flavors were well-balanced, and everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Overall, we had an amazing experience. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere all impressed us, and we definitely recommend giving this place a try. We're already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu--and, of course, getting the Sangria again. I highly recommend getting the pitcher if you're dining with a group!

I also like how there was a enclosed glass kitchen, where you can see the kitchen staffers at work. Service: Service was good. Nicole was friendly, attentive, and offered great suggestions. Food came out at a decent time. Food Of Choice: 1) Steak Tartare ($25): Consists of NY strip tartare, charred onion & black truffle aioli, tangerine purée, chives, and 3 triangle cut brioche toast. Thought the steak Tartare was very good! What made the small plate even better was the use of the toasted brioche bread. Kinda reminded me of the bread used for a grilled cheese sandwich. :) 2) Carne Asada ($66): 12 oz new york steak with hoja santa & quesillo doblada, goat cheese fondue, oven-roasted tomatoes, shishito peppers, and fingerling potatoes. Steak was nicely seasoned and tender. Loved the fingerling potatoes. 3) Cochinita pibil ($42): The Guerrero-style pork shank literally fell off the bone and was quite flavorful. My only complaint was that it didn't coming with enough corn tortillas. It only came with 3. If you wanted more, it would be an extra cost. Paseo For Thought: I wouldn't mind coming back to try more food.

It wasn't that the tacos were "bad" it's just they were so lacking in flavor as to be non-existent. Are you mad at me? Service is really good and drinks are solid and the space is cute. Why 5 stars? Came in for a little date night on a Saturday evening. The whole staff was friendly and accommodating, always quick to refill drinks or clear empty plates. We started off with some delicious and spicy oysters which were topped with a shrimp! We also had to try the Chori-brussels which are flash fried Brussels sprouts with chorizo, balsamic reduction, and Oaxacan cheese. For drinks we got a Santo Dia, a whiskey based cocktail with watermelon, lime, and fizz served over ice. We also ordered the Spicy margarita which had watermelon habanero, lime, and hibiscus flavors. They were both delicious and refreshing, the spicy marg had a good kick to it. For dinner we got a caesar salad, the ribeye plate, and the Urbana burger. We both loved the dressing on the caesar, it's made in house and it shows. The ribeye was cooked perfectly with a delicious herb butter on top, a really good steak sauce on the side, and thick cut fries. The ribeye wasn't the highest quality but it tasted good, the fries were perfect. My fiancé got the burger which had chorizo, melted queso Oaxaca, and an egg on top. Not gonna lie it was absolutely delish! I want to come back just for the burger. All in all we had a great time and I would definitely come back for some other menu items, especially to try more of their margs and specialty cocktails. Thanks Urbana!
