King Pollo was my spot to go when I was working at the 7eleven off state college because they were right next to it and it was very convenient for me to head over during my lunch break. The staff has always been friendly but now that they are under new management nothing has changed. Which I knew the new management before they took over the place. Still great service and the food is one of the best parts as well. My go to place since 2013. Their teriyaki chicken oh man it's really good, served with white rice and salad on the side. This plate is a good serving size plate nothing small. Definitely recommend them, they also do catering. So check them out! Not only do they give you quality service, remember you're supporting a family owned local business, nothing better than supporting our local businesses. To make it clear King Pollo is under new management and the location moved from where they had first started, next to the 7 eleven. King Pollo as you all see is on Lincoln and State College.

Not worth spending your money here the meat super dry bean taste nasty the potatoe salad dry as well

I've tried this place a few times now but have never deviated from the half a chicken combo but today decided to try their teriyaki bowl and it was quiet tasty. I would go as far as to say it rivals the local WaBa / Flame Broiler. The chicken and beef are both seasoned well and have good texture. Rice is sticky and sauce isn't over done. While I still love their chicken combo, I can definitely see adding this in to the rotation of lunch choices.

Their chicken avocado salad is my favorite thing to order when I want something healthy and delicious. It's a lot of food too, so you won't be hungry again in an hour. They take a rotisserie chicken and chop up a good amount before putting it on top of a huge pile of romaine lettuce, tomato slices, some carrot slices, and a generous amount of avocado. Beware, there are occasionally some bone pieces in the chopped chicken. If you check in on Yelp, you can also get a free drink with your salad. Awesome deal all around.

"I am El Caliente, Master of the El Pollo Loco flame." Well, apparently not, since you just got out classed by some Ko-reans!! This is pretty much El Pollo Loco on crack. An another go to place if you're really hungry and craving some really good tasting chicken! The amount they give you for less than 10$ is amazing. The potato salad is good, rice is cooked as it should be, the tortillas are moist and warm, chicken is throughly cooked and I haven't had any problems with it being raw. The chicken skin is so crispy and the meat is delicious, the only small thing that I dislike is the fact that there is regular salsa and hot salsa. They both are exactly the same, small problem but never really got in the way of me eating the amazing chicken! read more

This place is horrible. I would give it no stars, if I could. The tacos were served on hard corn tortillas, and they were filled with cartilage and skin from the chicken. It was very gross, and the owner was very rude and refused to give me a refund. I will never recommend this place to anyone. read more

Couldn't find a spot to eat and decided to come here. The chicken was fresh and tasty but the sides I got were horrible. I order the mini combo which came with a whole chicken, beans, rice and potato salad. I don't like beans, the rice was a sticky asian rice you order for dessert at Thai restaurants. The potato salad was not fresh and it was more like yellow mashed potatos. The cook should be shot. I would not come back. read more

Another solid help from Yelpers. I'm from Valencia, CA and just celebrated my daughter's birthday at Johns Incredible. I was looking for a family deal to bring for a small gathering at my sisters house and was contemplating between Juan Pollo and this place King Pollo. Though Juan Pollo has multiple branches it seems that the percentage of having more 5 star reviews are leaning more to King Pollo. So I ordered the 2 whole chicken deal and WOW it was amazing! I can't say crunchy from the outside but definitely juicy from the inside. Salsa was so delicious that you can taste the freshness. Also, the potato salad and chicken flavored rice including the tortilla is perfect match with their chicken. Before I forget, excellent customer service. Cashier help me patiently choosing alternative side order since I didn't get the beans to go with it. It's a must try! Will be back if we're in the area again. read more

Reasonably priced and the chiken is always very juicy, been here a couple times already and like the customer service, very friendly people working there. The steamed rice is good and best of all i love the refried pinto beans they give you along with the pico de gallo so good read more

Their teriyaki chicken bowl is pretty good, and it's a good portion off food. I never finish it in one sitting. I tried their teriyaki chicken burrito, and I have to say I wasn't impressed. It had rice, beans, and teriyaki chicken. I wouldn't recommend the burrito. When it comes to napkins they basically give you one napkin per person. Their teriyaki sauce, ranch, soy sauce, and fork comes out with the food, so if you use 2-3 packets per bowl make sure you ask for it at the counter. Not a terrible spot, but I wouldn't be a regular here either. read more

I eat here at least once a week. I get the whole chicken with corn tortilla & spicy salsa. I ask for extra salsa cause I love to drench my chicken in that fresh & tangy pico de gallo mixture. Any left over chicken works great the next day for a salad. Chicken is always tender & flavorful. Service is always friendly & quick. I highly recommend King Pollo for a quick, easy & inexpensive meal. read more

Don't make the same mistake I did and judge this place by its exterior appearance. This is some of the best chicken I've ever had! The skin was crispy, the breast meat was tender and moist, the tortillas were fresh and hot, and the rice and beans were excellent. Probably the only thing I didn't like was the potato salad, but I'm not a big potato eater so its just my particular preference. I like that they have a chili bar and a self serve soda machine, and there's plenty of room inside to sit and have lunch. It's priced reasonably as well as we had drive through yesterday and it was more expensive than our half chicken plates. Highly recommended! read more

This place isn't too bad. I have driven by many times and always thought about trying it out. Today was my day. The chicken is really good, not greasy at all. I got the lunch special which comes with a side of rice (steamed rice) pinto beans, your choice of flour or corn tortilla, a side of potato salad (didn't really too much for that) and a drink. The portions were a pretty good size, was more than enough for me. I would go back! read more

Aside from how the restaurant looks from the inside it's the best chicken I've had since moving to Anaheim. This place is so perfect to accommodate my diet. I'm not eating carbs currently so I stay away from rice and tortilla and let me tell you, their chicken salad is amazing! I don't know why but there lettuce is extra good. And the chicken is always so tender and juicy it's AMAZING! Definitely a must try and the salad is only $9 and it's HUGE. read more

I recently ordered a party pack from King pollo for a small 20 person party. We got so much food and on time eventhough we ordered the same day. We ordered the party pak #2 with 10 chickens and they smelled to amazingly delicious and everyone at the party loved it and some even went for seconds.They even helped my husband take it to the car and gave us some to go boxes and a few extras not included on the order. the chicken gets five stars but because of the sides, it gets 3. The chicken is very good, the meat comes right off the bone, juicy and fresh. The sides are nothing to brag about. The rice can be dry just like the potato salad. Their HOT salsa is no where near mild. Good prices, the staff is friendly and your food is delivered quick. read more

Came in for a little date night on a Saturday evening. The whole staff was friendly and accommodating, always quick to refill drinks or clear empty plates. We started off with some delicious and spicy oysters which were topped with a shrimp! We also had to try the Chori-brussels which are flash fried Brussels sprouts with chorizo, balsamic reduction, and Oaxacan cheese. For drinks we got a Santo Dia, a whiskey based cocktail with watermelon, lime, and fizz served over ice. We also ordered the Spicy margarita which had watermelon habanero, lime, and hibiscus flavors. They were both delicious and refreshing, the spicy marg had a good kick to it. For dinner we got a caesar salad, the ribeye plate, and the Urbana burger. The ribeye was cooked perfectly with a delicious herb butter on top, a really good steak sauce on the side, and thick cut fries. The ribeye wasn't the highest quality but it tasted good, the fries were perfect. My fiancé got the burger which had chorizo, melted queso Oaxaca, and an egg on top. Not gonna lie it was absolutely delish! I want to come back just for the burger. He was also kind and fun, and we would absolutely drink the rest of the bar menu. The food was also great, I got a dozen oysters that were fresh and briny, my wife and I shared the Parker rolls, and we had sea bass and skirt steak that were each beautifully prepared and not too heavy. Funny enough if I had one note it would be that you couldn't cut the steak with the steak knives... because the steak knives were a little dull and not serrated. BUT we discovered you could easily cut the steak with a butter knife - that's how tender it was. Honestly while the food was great, the people who work here are the real sell. They're so cool and dang nice, we look forward to coming back!

Some of the best rotisserie chicken. Everything is so fresh, the rice is so fluffy, the salad is so tasty and the chicken most importantly is so flavorful and juicy. Also, they are great for catering a party. Ive ordered food for a couple parties I had and my guest loved all the food.
