The family meal is a fantastic value. Meat was juicy and tender and comes with beans, rice, salsa and tortillas. Way better than el pollo!

We decided to use King Pollo for a surprise Birthday Party for 60 people. About a week & a half prior to the party, we stopped in to place an order and discuss delivery thru UberEats. Jose indicated that the order size might exceed Ubers delivery criteria. When we tried to place an advance order thru Uber the system would not accept the order, so we stopped by King Pollo the evening before the party, paid for the order & Jose advised that he could have it delivered. Found this through GrubHub - they are much better than El Pollo Loco which they sort of resemble but King Pollo has many other mnu choices and all consistently good - and this was my third time ordering from them. Todays food was hot still, the chicken is more tender and frankly tastes better, everything arrived quickly and their delivery person was very nice. Good place for some ghetto Mexican chicken. Its rotisserie style not like Juan Pollo or El Pollo norteno. Chicken is juicy and full of flavor. The skin is my fav and boy was that skin tasty!! This is just for the chicken teriyaki. It is very addicting. I have cravings for it. Never use the sauce just eat it the way it is. This place has decent priced for lunch. I did try their chicken meal and it was also good but I will always go for the teriyaki since it's so good. The interior of the place is nothing to get excited about. Just like any other hole in the wall the seats are plastic and kind of uncomfortable. But no complaint on what matters most!!! read more

The food here is very inexpensive and affordable. The chicken is marinated and cooked rotisserie style. The chicken has good flavor, but is cooked really well. It's not super dry, only on the wing, but that is to be expected with this type of preparation. I might remove the chickens a little sooner so that they are a bit juicier and moist. It's a very simple place with a walk-up counter and a few booths, but the guy running the place was nice enough and like I said, the prices are great. read more

I love this place!!! I started lifting/working out last year and changed my entire diet/eating habits, leaving me with less options when it comes to eating out. Chicken is great because it's high in protein, but places like KFC and El Pollo Loco add too much sodium/seasoning and other additives making them less than healthy options. I had driven by this place countless times before finally giving it a try and I didn't regret it. 5.99 gets you half a rotisserie chicken + beans + potato salad + white rice + tortillas + choice of salsa + drink. Huge meal for the price. The chicken is always super moist, the meat just falls off the bone. The skin is crispy and flavorful but not overly salty. Every time I finish a meal here I'm stuffed but not bloated like I get from El Pollo Loco. The potato salad is somewhat unique to this place, and is pretty good. Not like regular potato salad you'd find at other places or the grocery store, and has olives + chives in it. The beans seem to be boiled and taste great, and the salsa is really good too. (I always get spicy) The Korean ladies here (my people! lol) are super nice and seem to be fluent in Spanish which surprised me the first time I heard them talk to Spanish speaking customers. They serve other stuff here like teriyaki plates/burritos/burgers but I always stick with the rotisserie chicken, it's just too good, healthy and cheap. read more

We had a company luncheon for 50 people planned and called the restaurant we ordered from 10 minutes after the food was suppose to be delivered only to find out they had "lost our order". Then called King Pollo. Was able to pick up food within 15 minutes! Not only did they save the day, the food was excellent and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. read more

This is what El Pollo Loco wishes it could be. This is a non-chain chicken joint that serves family-style dinners from $12.99 for one chicken and sides to $32 for three chickens and loads of sides. We discovered this place about a year ago and it never disappoints. The chicken they use is really, really good. The chicken is not marinated like EPL but wonderful and better in our taste. We recommend take out since the atmosphere is not that hot. I never see people eating there, in fact. The really sweet owners or managers are Korean but they speak Spanish to eveyone. It is sort of an aternate universe at King Pollo. I can't cook dinner at home for the price they charge...and I always have leftovers. My one complaint: the hot salsa is too hot, the mild is too mild...hmmm...one minor complaint about an excellent value and really good dinner. They also have teriyaki things, but we can't say a word about them because we never ever get them...but perhaps we should. We are really happy this place is just a few miles from home. read more

5 stars for the chicken teriyaki! It's so good! For about $6 you get a big serving of salad, white rice (not the buttery kind everyone else wrote about-just plain white, steamed rice!) and teriyaki chicken. The chicken is so good, and the flavor is awesome. I highly recommend it. And the serving size is pretty big, enough for 2 people or 2 meals. If you haven't tried it, try it! I like mine with 1000 island salad dressing, and the good old rooster hot sauce! read more
