The Shelter Options Shoppe is my go to spot for used clothing in Naples. It's a small store but…read morepacked with hidden gems. You can find everything from a cute everyday top to high end designer pieces that are perfect for special occasions. I went right after Thanksgiving and everything was 75% off, which was amazing. I spent about $120 on what would have been over $550 worth of clothes. If you enjoy thrifting and finding unique pieces, this place is absolutely worth a stop. Great selection, great deals, and you never know what treasure you'll find.

While shopping, I observed multiple staff members who were restocking merchandise openly discussing, in front of customers, how they were removing the "good" items from the sales floor to take to the back and set aside in personal piles for one another. This was spoken about loudly and casually, as if it were standard practice. While doing so, these same employees repeatedly stepped directly in front of me and physically pushed past me to access racks I was actively browsing. This occurred multiple times and created an uncomfortable and disrespectful situation. The combination of staff hoarding merchandise for personal use and physically disregarding customers reflects a serious lapse in professionalism and store oversight. Customers should not be displaced or made uncomfortable so that staff can reserve merchandise for themselves. This behavior undermines trust, fairness, and the integrity of the store's operations, and leadership should be made aware.

I just wanted to know her last name so I could do research on whether she was really qualified to be helping me or not. Once assigned to her: she was drained, uninterested, she was always eager to reschedule if I missed her call and never available if I would try to reach out. She wasn't very genuine or personable and it seemed like she was just reading from a book of responses. She even just hung up during a session once and although I think she'll try to blame it on the service she was so emotionally and mentally unavailable I don't doubt that she just hung up mid session. And then didn't try to reach back out after that. If she wanted to reassigned she should have done it more professionally. That's the major complaint from the majority of the employees is the unprofessional behavior while working in such a significant field of MENTAL HEALTH. My therapist: Sydney Marmon

Just because I didn't file for child support against him doesn't mean I still don't need help finding a place to rent from that I can afford. He has bills to pay and we are trying to help each other. I ended up hanging up the phone when she put me on hold. Her attitude towards me made me feel very sad and hurt. I will not be coming here for help. No thank you!

She explained that they accept all kinds of donations and give them free of charge to those who need them. Recipients are directed by their church, food banks, etc. She walked me thru the rooms ..so organized and clean. They accept small kitchen appliances, clothing, sheets, dishes, ladies, children's and men's clothing to those who really need. I gave it only 4 stars cause of their hours. Be sure to check in advance.

I'm the most nicest person you could ever meet and I treat others with the upmost respect. So with that being said, I was left appalled to the way the volunteers and the staff treated me that day was horrid. I would never ever want for anyone to never feel nor go through what I've encountered at that organization. It was pleasant. This place needs a serious full evaluation and need to hold a board meeting to address the unprofessionalism that was displayed. If they could have a whole new team that would be great as well. I won't step foot back in but this new approach/team would be great for others in the present towards the future. The Staff & the 2 Volunteers in the facility that day showed absolutely No compassion, No empathy, No respect, No remorse, No kindness, No humility, just plain ole wickedness. Even the other clients that witnessed the mistreatment that I've endured there at "Helps Outreach" came up to me privately and said, "that the treatment I was given was not right and uncalled for". They've even told one of the volunteers there this same thing but that volunteer didn't want to believe the other clients nor didn't want to hear it but they "the clients" insisted that all they were saying amd witnessed was indeed the truth and furthormore expressed it was unacceptable as well as unchristian-like." I would never in my wildest dreams would ever step foot in this place again nor recommend anyone to come here. Its not worth it! There are plenty of other places to go to and hopefully they will treat you with some high level degree of respect. Just know for sure that "Helps Outreach" is surely not the place to go to look for assistance unless you're the type of person that dont care about how people treat/mistreat you. Note that someone from the county, city, state, and/or BBB (whomever) need to crack down on this place and ship them back up into shape because what I've been through with my family should NEVER happen to anyone else ever again!!!! May God Help Them All!
