This is great place to hang out The facilities they have there include: Swimming pool, locker room, mini restaurant, gym, pickleball and tennis, soccer, baseball, Basketball, kids playroom, indoor area and outdoor area. If you are more interested in the gym theres lots of treadmills and other cardio machines, but for weight lifting theres only about one machine for every exercise ex. Two bench press, one squat machine, one smith machine, one leg press, ect. They also have personal trainers there as well. But their equipment is a little old. They say their purpose is, "The Y is the leading non-profit committed to strengthening the community by connecting children, teens, adults, and seniors to their potential, purpose, and each other." AND yet they dropped the Silver Sneakers program. They are having their $195/ticket fundraiser this weekend. They just built a new $8+M facility near Marco. Shame on the YMCA! Not to be confused with Greater Nipples, which are when you have an operation to enlarge your Aureola. Could be a good facility, as some of the stuff they have in here works well, and it's large and clean and not too bad, although some of the equipment is lacking a bit, or older. What sets them apart - in a negative way - is that they have a very weird system to get in, to use the locker rooms, and the icky showers were all rusted out but they worked. Someone that looked suspiciously like Katie Holmes (pre Tom Cruise) checked me in, and while her service levels deserve 5 stars, in general I could see the issues with this facility and why some of the other reviewers didn't enjoy it. Might want to get more in line with other facilities in terms of ease of access and cleaning up the locker room too. read more

The youth sports director Mr. Keith is an incompetent moron. His direct mismanagement of the youth program led to upset parents of numerous teams. Mr. Keith did not provide adequate supervision of the league referees. This hands-off approach led to sudden rule changes and frustrated kids trying to learn a game. Mr. Keith showed up at the end of the season and was a complete coward and attempted to rein in this dumpster fire of a program. I strongly discourage any parents looking to enroll their children in youth sports programs at this location from doing so. It is best to find another league or establishment. I would also further discourage people from supporting this facility with monetary funds. read more

A concerning problem of the Collier County Early Learning program is the current director donnalee petit fort. She doesn't have any teaching/ formal educational experience with children so lacks knowledge of behavioral approaches which benefits their well-being nor people skills. It's unfortunate an unqualified administrator without educational knowledge is running the department. read more

YMCA isn't terrible but i had to cancel my membership here. The gym is small so when it's crowded at peak hours it's noticeable and you're mainly dealing with highschoolers and the elderly. I don't think this gym is worth it for the price, they've had a few broken down machines they take forever to fix, only 1 smith machine, run down equipment, terrible hours of operation, the list goes on. There's also sometimes these two older ladies that work there, who will chastise you if they think you're not putting the weights back on the rack..even if you're not using them...lol enough said! read more

hold on your to wallets tight! they only care out making a quick buck off of you. they don't care about reciprocity bwtween other gyms, just how they can make money off of you easily. i have a heart disability and its managed well but they demanded to see my proof of income, not proof of my ability from a doctor. the y used to be a place where any one could go, not its snob city. read more

Our family has been involved with the YMCA in Naples for 13 years now. Our children have been there starting with the child care program as infants to now being fully involved in the sports programs year around. It's a wonderful, caring and well equipped YMCA. Horrible summer camp. They have a no refund policy but pick and chose who gets a refund when you take your child out of their terrible camp. That's discrimination and just wrong. Bad business directors and counselors change often...wonder why. Stay away zero stars. Will never step foot in this place again. read more

My experience is with the new upper management at this Naples YMCA and the swimming pool. We are no longer members of the YMCA after having left in disgust when the Y basically kicked Swim Florida (a swimming club for kids that has been training kids to swim for over 30 years in this area) from the YMCA pool. IMO its all because of poor upper management that could care less about those that have done their time, community time, in Naples. The pool, how teams used the pool, how members used the pool was a disaster. It was also dangerous. At one time there were so many kids in the pool, they stood in line 10 deep, to swim a lap and there are 7 lanes! YMCA management allowed this very chaotic and dangerous situation to happen. They overlapped swim teams and didn't have the balls to tell the visiting team that they messed up and to go away. Another dangerous practice was allowing adults to sprint around the pool. Even though the sign says 'no running around the pool area', YMCA staff ignored this and allowed it to continue day after day. All it takes is one adult to t-bone a kid next to the pool and you have a potential drowning. There is usually one lifeguard at the pool, but they have no authority to do much other than tell people to get out of a lane, so that one of their parasitic teams can dominate one and everyone else suffers. Lets hope that the YMCA gets its act together. The place burned down a few years ago and it's all new now and it appears to me that the good ole Christian values went up in flames that day. Several reasons why I enjoy being a member of the YMCA. I do not have children, so cannot comment on any of those programs or activities. I appreciate the clean facility, friendly staff, huge variety of group fitness classes and all they do for the community. I did not realize everything that they are involved in and where they contribute and spend their time until I checked out their website. I don't live near Marco Island, but it's a perk that your membership is good at both locations. read more

I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt but there is just no way. Dark and dim lighting across the entire facility. The free weight area upstairs only has mirrors going down have the walls because of the dumbbell rack. When doing any seated exercise I can only see my head. Who does that? Not very well kept or clean, the equipment is okay, however the flooring upstairs is not meant to have weights on them. Zero room for any sort of barbell work and the "strength training" room downstairs that has mirrors and barbells has NO AIR CONDITIONING. Not to mention the customer service is not good either. I've been locked out of the locker rooms twice and there is zero friendliness or sense of urgency with staff. I hate to say it but this is not the right way to manage a wellness facility. read more

1) I would classify the majority of staff as 'unfriendly'. 2) They have massive kid camps running all summer, and, as a result, parking is a nightmare, the facility is chaotic, the pool is foggy and crowded, and the locker rooms are dirty. 3) Although the membership fees remain the same all year, the gym is open fewer days per week and fewer hours per day during the summer. It's difficult to schedule workouts if you have a full-time job. 4) It was originally advertised as having a 24/7 after-hours gym for members. That lasted a few months until they realized they could screw over members to accommodate more camps. read more

Beware if you are a AARP UHC Secondary Insurance holder. Although UHC states that this is a participating gym for their free gym benefits, the Greater Naples YMCA is not honoring any new registrants to their program, and will discontinue any existing participants at year end. This was per the front desk and I was told that I could not participate without joining the Y. Too bad for us seniors! The reasoning is that they get too little reimbursement from Insurance companies. Hope to save someone else a wasted trip. read more

Over all this place is nice the front desk is sometimes friendly the coaches need work for the kids department however the head of the sports department Mr Ricky (Richard tamer) has been the highlight of our whole experience he is very patient and compassionate about the work he does and takes care of every problem I would definitely recommend that you talk to him for anything you need because he treats you with the most respect read more

I'm giving zero stars. Because of COVID-19, I asked the Y to suspend my account for three months, as we were going into self-isolation. This was done on March 2nd. On March 16th, they charged my account for the monthly dues. I wrote to them asking to reverse the charges, as my account was suspended. I received back what was essentially a "too bad" excuse that I had not given them a month's notice. I have never been impressed with the local management of this organization. This confirms it. They are not interested in their members, only their money. I have cancelled my membership. There are alternatives available once the pandemic passes. read more

Their service is not good, we was in a waiting list since August 2018 for the day care I was pregnant and we were planning to put our daughter in their daycare I delivered a healthy baby on October 25 2018 on October 26 2018 we got I email saying that the have a spot for our daughter for February 2019 we call fill the registration forms and on January 18 we call just to confirm that everything was good to go for February, and then they tell us that our name or daughter name was not in the system and trust they didn't have space for the daycare.. I am so mad they are so irresponsible, they are disorganized, they tell us the person which was the one in charge of their daycare part was no longer working and they didn't know what happened with our papers.. not a professional place at all. read more

Members of the Y since we moved to area. Would say they are definitely disorganized but the facilities are nice. Decided to buy personal training package to prepare for upcoming wedding. The trainers committed to a set time, and then cancelled 3 out of 4 scheduled sessions. At that time I asked if the time would not work afterall... and apparently it would not. We were "passed on" to another trainer who never bothered to schedule our sessions after 5 days went by. At this point we had wasted 4 weeks leading up to our wedding and received only one "assessment" session. Obvious the trainers do not care about their clients and their goals and have no accountability or sense of professionalism. This has been such a disappointing experience. read more

This membership cancellation is a consequence of extreme dissatisfaction with the services provided at your facility as well as the rudeness demonstrated by multiple staff members. Despite repeated attempts in requesting services, the Naples YMCA has refused to deliver satisfactory services. It seems that the organization is more interested in promoting certain business interests rather than in serving the community. This place is amazing they have a great camp for kids in the summer. My daughter has gone for two years now and has a great lunch provided by Wynn's Market, canoes in the morning, and swims in the afternoon when it is super hot. The classes are great and the staff is super amazing! read more

Very rude upper management team. Not sure what they do during office hours. Everything is so disorganized. I left my child at Childwatch which I loved and I spoke to the administration and they don't pay attention to that area. All the girls were interacting with children but I think they needed more workers in order to play with the infants. I recommended not going to the Ymca in Naples. Most of the administration doesn't pay attention to their employees!! read more

After it burned down, they remodeled it and it's amazing now! Not only did they expand greatly, everything is much more updated and nice. The pools are the same though, and the gym is underwhelming really. A big plus is that the bottom floor smaller gym is open 24 hours now! read more
