Been around 2 months dince i hired them to re-roof for me to be able to place Tesla Solar Panels. They are one of the contractors Tesla reccommends! Im glad i chose them. The owner Renyaldo was a very nice guy to meet! They finished the underlinement in 2 days! Ferdinand was the one who came to give me a very reasonable quote with the top of the line underlinement. They worked super fast, from the city inspection to the material delivery to the installation..: they got it done over a few days in a dizzying pace. The installation was supposed to be a two day job, but they hired extra workers to get it done in a day. They offered me a fair, upfront pricing. They offer the Owens Corning shingles with a 50 year warranty... and I had to laugh... I sure do wish I am around to claim this 50 year warranty!! I hired King Roofing because I wanted to install Tesla Solar panels. The King Roofing is recommended by Tesla. I had no problem with my tile roof, no leak of any kind. When Tesla Solar technician came look at my roof they check the roof and wanted to install the panels. I thought it would be better to clean the roof and replace the felt/underlayment from my tiles. I hired the service to pressure wash the tiles of my roof. The service reported that there is no broken tiles and roof looks good. Now the King Roofing started to replace my felt/underlayment from tiles. On first day they remove tile and felt/underlayment. I ask the king roof guy what does the tiles and roof look like meaning what is the damage. He said he may need to replace 100 square feet to wood and tile looks good. I ask for the estimate for this additional work he did not provide the estimate. At the end of the job King Roof charge 3004 dollars for tiles and wood repair. I think King Roofing padded my bill atleast by 2000 dollars. I spoke to him he said he will try to "help" me. Nothing happens, no message, no call. So I had to pay the bill in full. I would NEVER hire this company again as they are not honest. read more

Rey took a lot of pictures and walked through what he found. He was very thorough and articulated what we saw, what we should fix, and what we should not worry about. Very disappointed in how they handle repeat customers. Had the entire roof done on my mom's house in Tustin about 4-5 years ago. The roof shingles are covered under warranty for 40yrs. But the owner Ray said that the leaks would be covered if it was between 2-3years old. With these last rains that just hit us this January I have found some leaks. I asked Ray to come and check them out, and he said he would come by around 2-3PM. The time he agreed to come had lapsed and so I had to call him at 4:35PM to ask him if he was still coming. He stopped by around 4:55PM, and I noticed that he drove up in a truck I saw drive by around 2:30PM. He said yes it was him that drove by, but that because my mom had asked him to put up the gutters, which he didnt want to put up after the roof install, he said that he will never work on her home again, and that he wasn't even going to answer the call this afternoon and was going to block our numbers. He kept going on and complaining about my mom and how she forced him to put up the gutters. He said, "I lost about $2000 on this job" (snaring at my mom). I told him that the company sales rep, a friend of mine, put that in the initial quote, that the gutters would be put back on after the job. I couldn't believe that this guy Ray, the supposed owner of the company was complaining about putting up some gutters. He even said, "I dont even know how to put up rain gutters!" This literally just happened, and it upset me, I thought he was very rude in front of my mom saying the things he did in the manner that he did. I cut him off, because I was tired of hearing this little childish man talk, I told him that I have been a Loan Officer for many years, that has serviced hundreds of loans for many many clients around the US, and being in customer service, even if I am not happy with a client, I have never once disrespected any of my clients. I then said "thank you for coming, have a goodnight," put my hand on my mom's shoulder and walked away with her without saying another word to this man. She was shocked with the way he wined and acted so childish and unprofessional. If you don't want to do a job for whatever reason, just say you cannot. Today I saw this company's true colors, especially when the owner Ray is the one that came and displayed them. I stongly do not recommend this company to anyone. Go with someone else. I even found out from him that they didnt even place a metal flashing that should have gone up on the roof above the garage. Guess they did this because he supposedly "lost money on the job." Be careful with this company because turns out they cut corners. They put up and reused the old metal flashing that was already there. I can't believe how truly unprofessional and distasteful company. This company deserves ZERO stars after what I just witnessed from the owner towards my mom. read more
