Al and Jonathan came out a couple weeks ago and hydro jetted my French drain and installed a new sump pump for me . They did a great job. We had a storm this week and the sump pump actually went off . I noticed that it looked like it was spraying some water and called them back to take a look at it . They promptly came back and explained what it was doing . Apparently my first sump pump was installed wrong but the new one is installed correctly and it was supposed to be doing what it did. Fast and friendly crew. They worked with us to try and get some costs down on our repair.

$465 for a scope of 3 secondary lines which were about 10ft each. Then the tech just sat in his truck for 2 hours while "calculating the estimate" for the repair [he was just watching some video when we went and checked] and finally the office called with the estimates. He didn't provide any new information that we didn't know already - cast iron pipe could be bad after these many years, but you can't tell in the scope. It seems like there are lots of grease there (it's the kitchen line), etc. He said he would replace it, but wasn't providing any concrete evidence that the line is actually really bad (there were no cracks). Locating the actual location of the pipes is $200 more. Overall, high price, low value will be my assessment of this particular experience. read more

King Rooter & Plumbing came out and completed warranty work on our sump pump. Upon completion the sump pump leak was repaired and they cleaned up all the toxic water. I was satisfied that they came out very quickly to take care of our home. Unfortunately we continued to smell an odor and we noticed our Radon numbers were increasing. We had a radon mitigator come out and inspect what was happening and He noticed right away that the sump pump was not properly sealed and was leaking. I reached out twice to King Rooter and asked for the owner to call me back to address the issue but he would not return my call. This was a huge safety issue for my family to not seal the toxic fumes from our household. It seems like they are more interested in their "Good, Better, and Best quotes" than taking care of their customers. read more

Lucky I even gave them 2 stars. Basically what a irritating experience so far. And by so far.. the work still isn't done yet. This was a 3k job the quote/plumber said was "an easy job" and would only take him one day. As scheduled he (Anthony G)came out the first day April 23rd around 10am on a Wednesday alone, worked and left saying he was unable to finish and would be back at 10am the next day April 24th. Was unable to finish again on the 2nd day and said Couldn't be back till Tues May 5th at noon. To which he was a no call no show, we texted him that evening, he said he can come out again on Thurs May 7th, to which again he was again a no call no show. We tried to call & text him But he was not answering his phone or texting back. We Called company Friday May 8th and they said you should of called us and not the plumber and scheduled him for Saturday May 9th from 2-5p. He came with a helper and left saying it was finished, but upon inspection.... he hacked through two 2x4s (see pictures) and never plumbed in the toilet to the drain pipe. Just left a hole in the floor with the toilet ring. (Oh by the way they billed/ charged our bank account the full amount On April 28th?!?!) We then called the company Monday May 11th to update them the job was still incomplete. They scheduled him yet again to come out today May 13th and even called this morning at 7:30am to say the tech says it's complete and to ask why he's coming out .. Really!! So the phone caller made Monday was for?!?! We informed them YET again as to why And she said she would let him know and then called back at 2:40pm. 40 min after his scheduled time to Say he was busy on another job and will not be available till this Friday May 15th... So far That's 3 weeks! And Questionable work on the drilled 2x4s...poor communication, poor customer service!!!! And what company bills you out before the job is even completed? Or says it's done and you missed a whole drain pipe to a toilet? I'm sure the others are correct in there star ratings and experience but I had to give an honest review because I feel so many companies now days try to buy off people to take down negative reviews or give higher star ratings for there Better Business Bureau rating when they screw shit up.. Well, this review is not coming down so don't bother asking me. And I will update all of you as to how this issue was taken care by the company and what was up with the hack job...Stay tuned. Update 5/22/20 After posting this review we got a call the next day that the plumber would be out to complete the work. The final plumbing was completed. Due to no contact we never did get a chance to talk to the plumber while he was at the house about the hack job on the 2x4's. After talking with my BF we decided to just replace the 2x4s our self and just not deal with this company anymore. We were already behind 2 weeks because of the delayed service and didn't want to waste anymore time or energy. Prices were disclosed before work started and were very competitive. I received a call ahead of time to let me know the plumber was on his way and then a secondary text to ask if I was ready for their arrival. Friendly staff and hard working! I didn't have time to remove the toilet before he began working but he was very careful and didn't damage it at all. I'm very happy with the outcome! We had our floor drain jack hammered and replaced, our shower was updated to one handle instead of two, and a new anode rod was put in our hot water heater all for about $1700. Update: If I could give this company 10 stars I would. I'm on a tight budget and needed to cut some corners with the new pipes, including requesting that they didn't install a shower cartridge or trim since I could do that myself. When the plumber left we lost hot water upstairs and when I called to have someone come back out, I spoke with the master plumber who said "We see this in older home where it needs a cartridge in the downstairs shower to regulate the temperature upstairs because all the pipes are connected. If that doesn't work please call me back because we want our customers happy." It totally worked. I'm so thankful he walked me through it on the phone. read more

Don was my technician and was kind, respectful of my home and made sure I understood what he was doing without being condescending (ladies you know what I'm talking about - just bc I can't fix plumbing doesn't make me an idiot) Don did the work for far less than my other quotes - he also came up with a creative solution to the lack of access to my shower guts. Do not use King Rooter & Plumbing. I called them to come and give me an estimate for some work I needed done in one of my bathrooms. The tech they sent was a nice guy, but his work was very sub-par, especially for the price. He did not fix the problem that I described to him and actually left my bathroom in a worse state. The tech never got an estimate signed and charged me $550 to come and replace a $40 part. I spoke with the owner, Jeff a couple of times on the phone, but we could not come to a an agreeable resolution,. He is a fast talker and spends more of his time telling you how much of a master plumber he is than trying to reach a reasonable solution. Use them at your own risk! read more

Jeff, we had tried to resolve this in a professional manner. You have not contacted us but instead had an employee reach out whom we've had respect issue with. So here is our honest review, the whole story and the truth as stated in your contract. We will be proceeding the way we feel necessary to ensure that nobody gets poor workmanship and even worse customer service from your company in the future. My family and I purchased our first home beginning of 2021, it came with a new septic system which we were very happy about! In less than a year the new septic system has sunk and shifted, the line from the house(which was installed by king rooter) has also sunk down. We didn't mind it because we understand this may happen, regardless of their contract stating they would use extra materials to combat this issue. Our real problem is that the old septic system was destroyed and buried by king rooter. They stated the previous homeowner chose this option for them to break down and mix with the dirt from the new septic tank. In less than a year we now have a hazardous hole forming and the old septic is more than sticking out of the ground. (A few pieces) we had reached out to the company in hopes of a resolution because we were ensured of a warranty including workmanship. It took a week to get a resolution to which they are not responsible and it was deemed "landscaping". This is not even close to a landscape issue. We will now do the work ourselves or hire a competent company and take this to litigation. Something we wanted to avoid. If you're reading this. Please do not waste your time and money on a company that doesn't stand by their word(contract). This is an issue of right and wrong. As far as customer service goes. The woman who answers the phone is completely rude and condescending, she talks over you and chuckles when she talks. We had asked for a supervisor or the owner to contact us to resolve and we're denied multiple times. Either he doesn't care or never got the message. Derek was amazing! He located a hidden leak and fixed a few other issues we pointed out while he was at our house. He was quick and helpful. After noticing our tub had not been caulked he did that for us. While Derek was fixing a leaky pipe, one of the kids jumped into the shower without knowing it had to set.
