So, he left the service incomplete - removed the roots ( he claims) but did not run the camera, so it is still unclear if there is a damage in the pipe. Instead of running the camera, Fred demands that we have him do the rooting every 6 months! It is absurd - over the last 15 years, the system needed snaking only twice: removing roots ca 2012, and removing a deep-sitting hairball in 2023. Last check up was in Aug 2024, and everything was fine with the system. Fred charged $395 just to run a snake tool! Very unsatisfactory service. The company was better before, but now, go with somebody else.

Pablo realized that he wasn't getting away, so he pulled over at a gas station. Pablo told me that he was sorry and to not call the cops and that he will pay for the damages. I told Pablo too late. I'm on the phone with the police right now and that he should've just stop. Pablo got visibly upset. Meanwhile the passenger an older Hispanic female not dressed for labor work threw away multiple emptied beer bottles. Pablo passed field sobriety test with Hayward Police; however, the truck got towed for Pablo not being licensed. Cops called Chad from Drainline who did not provide proof of insurance as requested by HPD. My insurance attempted to reach out to the company and Chad who took no responsibility; therefore, this is posted. Everyone who ever worked hard and followed the law to pay for insurance to be responsible citizens should be upset. This is why our insurance rates are so high. We get to pay for uninsured and unlicensed drivers.

Since this is not the only toilet, removal/replace is not an emergency. Will do it on Monday. There was no additional charge for the return visit. There will be a charge to remove old/Replace which seems very fair to me. This business is now called NG Rooter and Plumbing. I had this company come to see why upstairs toilet was not flushing properly. The technician, Victor, put a hand snake into the toilet two times. Flushed and water went down, but slower than normal. I said I did not think the flush was powerful enough. Victor said, "It's old." So in less than 5 minutes, he was on his way. 5 flushes later, the toilet still has a blockage. Phone calls and text messages have been ignored. Still waiting. Victor pointed out the phone number on the invoice and said to call if I had any problems. In this case, our toilet was leaking and they found a crack in a section of the soil pipe. But the quote ($1,200) seemed high. I asked for more details and was told that the job would take 6-8 hours and the materials are expensive. Leaking waste water isn't a good situation so I agreed. The next day the team of two showed up and finished the job in under 90 minutes and demanded full payment. I said I'd talk with Bryan. I inventoried the parts used and priced them at a local supply store: $75. When I asked Bryan to reduce the price since the estimate was so inaccurate, he refused, said I'd agreed to the work, and accused me of taking advantage of their trust. When I pointed out that I trusted them to give an accurate estimate and that I just wanted to pay fairly for what the job actually required, he got angry. Needless to say, I won't be calling them again.

Then, I used them the second time with terrible results. There disregard of our underground drainage system when connecting a new waste line to the existing sewer line which caused flooding in the basement and thousands of dollars of related damages. I called them and asked them to come out and review the damages with me. They never called me back. I emailed and texted them with the same results. Kept me in the loop of what they were doing when it didn't seem like the clog was just at the sink drain and decided to snake the vent drain all the way down to the main sewer line and poof clogged sink drained quickly.
