A few days ago I noticed that on one of our faucets, if I closed the hot water side too fast there was a little bit of a rattle under the house. I thought I could handle it myself after asking Perplexity what it could be and installed a water arrestor. That didn't help so I thought, maybe it could be the strapping. I reached out to Handy Plumbing Man on a Saturday and they were quick to respond that they could have someone there on Monday. Monday morning came and their technician, Miguel, went down and found that one of the pipes they had worked on wasn't totally secured. No problem, mistakes happen. He said he'd call the office to get technicians over to check the strapping on the work below. I had to go into work but did get a message from them later on that day to see if they could get someone over the same day (Monday) to fix it. This is more on me that I had already gone into work, but they said they could do tomorrow morning at 8am. The guys, Carlos and Baltazar, came bright and early, went under the house and secured the pipe and then some. Awesome company!

He explained how pluming worked to me, potential issues with my setup that won't be addressed, what I need to watch out for. I felt like all the steps he laid out were reasonable and I knew very well the quirks with my particular system afterwards. Nothing much to talk about regarding delivery - prompt, on budget, on time, did everything that was promised. I'm no pluming expert, but didn't notice anything out of place from a cursory view. The job was complicated by 16 years of rust and hard water and pre-existing terrible cracked granite countertops that hadn't been sealed and protected well at all around the faucet area. Eddie was able to schedule me within 48 hours of my call and Jorge from #1 Honest Plumber showed up ready to go. He inspected the issues with my sink and gave me an extremely reasonable flat-price quote to do the work. I agreed and then watched as Jorge did a skillful surgery to excise what remained of the old faucet, patched up my terrible granite like a dentist would patch up a cavity, and installed and tested my new faucet and soap dispenser. Jorge was polite, friendly, professional, efficient, tidy, careful and didn't even roast me for my ham-fisted attempts at DIY work before he showed up. It doesn't get much better than that! Freshly vaccinated and ready to get out of the rain we rented an RV for a month to visit relatives in CA. We discovered the black water valve pipe flanges were busted. Decided to fix in Bay Area while visiting family. Who knew there were no dump stations till Gilroy and the RV shops were 5-6 weeks out for appointments! The mobile RV guys need tanks empty to do work plus the smell was horrible. So we called and Junior got back to us quickly. He came and dumped the tanks, and ran cleaning solution through the black tank. Then we looked at the repair. He said he could do it! We did the repairs two days later using his tools and labor and a mix of parts that we both bought. Took about 2 hours and cost less way less than what I was quoted by the mobile RV guys. Pichanga Pumping is 5-star all around. They answered the phone immediately, were able to schedule us right away for an emergency septic pump (which is not an easy task as we live up in the mountains), and showed up as promised within a few hours. Our tank was so full that they needed to do the job in two visits, but did them sequentially so the job is complete. Both the man who answered the phone plus the plumber were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Finally, their rates were very reasonable. I cannot say enough about the wonderful service from Pichanga. We needed to pump our septic tank on an emergency basis to fix backed up drains in our house. Junior and his helper showed up within an hour and a half on Sunday of a holiday weekend. They promptly pumped our septic tank (which cleared the drain problem) and saved our weekend. But never got a call with the estimates. - After 4 follow up attempts, I finally got an estimate for replacing my heater with another tank one, which wasn't at all what I asked for. - Another 3 requests for Mark (GM) to call. Had one phone call, was promised a call 2 days later. After 4 days, called and spoke to Mark. He said he'd try to piece together the story and would call back that day. Got a call the next day where I got rough estimates but he said he needed to come out and redo the video. Made an appointment for 8:30am today. - Mark didn't show, and they only contacted the backup number for my account (my ex) instead of the number if confirmed 8 times before to tell me a tech would be out at 1. I called at 11am, they told me they texted and called (none of which I got), and that Mark would call me back in a few minutes. I asked for my fees to be refunded, wasn't given an answer. The office is a hot mess, emails go unanswered, and another plumber came out (for free) and scoped my line and neither of us see any belly - so now it seems like I'm being given false information as well. Changing this review score and couldn't be more disappointed in how a company clearly doesn't respect their customers.

I'm leaving this review based on a dangerous driving incident involving one of this company's…read morevehicles. Yesterday, just after a period of heavy rain, the roads were still very wet. I was driving on 280 South and slowing down to safely exit at Meridian when a company van accelerated instead of yielding. The driver moved to the far right and passed me on the shoulder/outside of the lane. Given the wet road conditions, this maneuver was extremely unsafe and could have easily caused an accident. There was no reason for the driver to behave this way. I can't speak to the quality of their plumbing services, but this type of driving in a clearly marked company vehicle reflects poorly on the business. I hope management takes this seriously and reinforces safe driving expectations with their drivers

I had a challenging water main that was never installed properly, which became further complicated with root damage. They did a great job and the owner does work as well. He made a custom junction to connect to my water meter that doesn't leak. They're honest, charge reasonable rates and can fix recurrent issues less skilled plumbers cannot.

Various permits and inspections from the city as well as the sanitary district were needed, I had some concerned neighbors to deal with, and we had to do it in a way that protects a large heritage tree right near the work. Freddy was extremely patient and creative during the scoping process. He understood the requirements and concerns of all parties involved and offered different solutions based on what the needs were. He and his office manager Fiona did a good job of managing all the admin stuff as well. I never felt like the team didn't know what they were doing or didn't have a plan. Once the job started, Miguel did an excellent job managing the work and the team. His communication was great and he quickly corrected course based on any concerns or requirements raised. Miguel was a good foreman. I felt in good hands the whole time and I thought the team was very diligent in cleaning up each day, keeping me updated on progress, etc. I'd definitely work with them again.
