Fast forward 1.5 months later, the pipe joint that he connected at the main shut off valve developed a major leak, so much that it was flooding and I had to call the city to shut off the water. This was Sunday evening. I called Luis, and he answered and said that he's not in town and can have someone else come in Monday morning to fix and get the water running, while he returns and fixes it properly on Tuesday morning. We agreed, but after that he's gone missing. I waited till Monday afternoon, called him couple of times, left messages, but he's not replying. I had to find other plumbers at that time as I had no water in house for the whole day, and had to pay them for something that this guy should have fixed and handled more professionally. It's Tuesday afternoon now, and he's still not replied back. So its clear that Luis doesn't stand behind his work and will leave you stranded if something goes wrong. Look elsewhere if you don't want the headache.

Kitchen drain clog. Googled and called them (I fell for the $54 special, my fault. Although to…read moretheir credit they didn't charge me for the service). The guy came and opened the P trap under my sink. Then he starts snaking it. But that was too short to clean the drain; and when he put things back together; guess what. His rough snaking process messed up the p trap thats now causing a leak! He says that he'll need $625 to fix the leak! He said he'll come back the next day. Next day he comes with his boss. They do a bunch of assessments and say $1500 to clear the clog and $625 to fix the leak! And they gave me 2-3 options to redo plumbing in the kitchen area; $6k-$12k. When I say that you caused a new problem (leak); they don't agree that it's their fault. They're like - you're going to fix the leak one way or the other. I even offered $250 to fix the leak; but they wanted $625. (Leave aside the 1500$ to flush the drain etc) I told them that I'd be calling another company. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!
