My wife and I went here for dinner, looking for a good Chinese restaurant in the area. I ordered the orange chicken, it came with a side of white rice. The chicken had great flavor and crispness, but it was over-cooked and a little tough. My wife ordered egg drop soup, which she said was great. She also ordered the veggie fried rice, which was very fresh, great flavor, and not heavy. I would suggest ordering the fried rice without onion, the flavor overpowers the dish, so we asked for a small portion of the fried rice without onion, and it was way better. This place is so underrated! Great Chinese food and big portions for a decent price. I don't do take out often but when I do, King Wok is our favorite place to go. The service is fast, friendly and the food is delicious! My kids always get the orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken and my absolute favorite is the golden walnut shrimp, they give you large whole shrimp in a creamy sauce with veggies and the amazing crab rangoons. read more

Just ordered today for lunch delivery, first off you cant hear nor understand the person taking the order, ordered the lunch sweet and sour chicken L3, says the it comes with a egg roll NOT, also ordered Mixed Vegetables w/ brown sauce with pork, definitely got the veggies but maybe 3 pieces of pork, again NO egg roll. I used to go to another King Wok on Woodhaven and get the boneless wings. Since I live in this area now I tried this one. The food is good but they need to take a lesson from the king wok on Woodhaven. This one on Denton hwy makes the boneless wings too dry, they should add a little sauce on the plate. read more

Not the best place to eat. Dining in restaurant leaves a lot to be desired as refills are slow and service is not so friendly. They kind of give you the food and ignore you. We love this place! They deliver which is a huge plus for us (we have three kids under 6). Their orange chicken is fantastic and their spring rolls are yummy. If you order at least $20 you get a free order of crab wontons. They are good but not the best I've ever had. The egg rolls are crispy and their rice is sticky and good. Not sure why this place has negative reviews. Ordered from them last night through yelp. Delivery was fast. Order was correct. It arrived so hot i almost burned my hand. I ordered pineapple chicken with steamed rice and honey chicken with steamed rice. Both were delicious. Pineapple chicken had green bell peppers, onions, pineapples in a pineapple sauce. Now, that was EXACTLY what I was hoping to get when I order chinese food! We ordered take out & from the time of ordering to the time we got our food was NO MORE than 7 minutes...maybe sooner! We got the food home, still piping hot, and were delightfully surprised at the flavor & freshness. The vegetables could have been grown in the back of the restaurant! What the heck are you people smoking?! This place sucks. Ordered for delivery, the basic Hunan chicken and Kung Pao shrimp and it was bland and tepid. Almost no flavor at all. Seriously. Also specifically ordered white onion on one of the orders and didn't get that even though was charged extra for it. Ordered fried rice and got brown colored rice with nothing else in it. They charged extra for the brown coloring rice (soy sauce?) I guess. Egg rolls tasted like they were frozen then cooked. They are not "real" as some reviews claim. Real to me means hand made. Really bad. I can't believe this place is getting the good reviews it is. You people must have been raised eating frozen Chinese dinners or something cause there are much better places around this area than this one. Promised in 45 minutes. My cold food arrived in an hour and a and 40 minutes minus one egg roll. The beef dish was mostly onions. I had called 25 minutes before the food arrived and was told it would be there any minute. I am only 2.2 Miles away. I will not be ordering from them again. read more

The fried rice tasted like it had been sitting out for quite some time. The sweet and sour chicken was equally dry and tough.
