Honestly the place was cute, and great vibes, people and staff were wonderful. It's great that it stays open til Midnight. I'm sure there's other things that are great there. the dumplings had great texture however I was really fond of the flavors. The pho was like it had been microwaved and noodles were just soaked in water and it wasn't warm and served it in a to go bowl. The cucumber salad was a hit though. I might try this place again but for different things.

I got the Barbacoa Bao Thai Taco but the Pork Belly Bao Taco was 10/10 Customer Service from Javi was without a doubt 10/10. Very welcoming and the back patio was such a vibe.

Stopped in on Saturday... around lunchtime. First time coming and the customer service was top tier. The gentleman was helpful and explained to us the full menu. We decided on a couple of flights to try a bit of everything. We ordered the bao bun flight and we loved it. Surprisingly the tofu one was good. I'm not vegetarian and honestly avoid tofu. The gentleman said try it. I was so happy I did. It was one of my favorites. We got the dumpling flight and we lovedd it as well. Only downside is there were so many of them I couldn't tell one for another. We also had their burger bao and my husband loved it as well. It definately is a huge twist on traditional food. We finished off with the cinnamon roll. Which we liked a lot We stepped over to grandmas bar and they delivered the food to us. The customer service and food is just what you want for a nice date

Amazing food, great service. Placed a pickup order and they called because we accidentally selected wheat allergy to verify we did that on purpose. The stir fry noodles with beef were my favorite but you can't go wrong with the dumplings. Easy walk in and food pickup process.

Dumpling Flight = My New Personality Listen... these dumplings did not have to go this hard. Every single one was a little flavor bomb. The textures? Perfect. The seasoning? Cheffing. The sauce? I could drink it. The whole plate was so good I started side-eyeing everyone around me like, "Don't even think about asking for a bite." The Ambiance was quaint and adorable. 10/10 would dumpling-crawl back for more.

We've been wanting to try this place out. We ordered the four dumplings and chose the Japanese Beef Stew, which was pretty good. It had a little kick, so the chilly sauce made it really spicy. It kind of tasted like curry, which isn't my favorite flavor, but my boyfriend liked it. The next thing we ordered was the Bulgogi Bao Burger, which we were told was their award winning burger. It was yummy. The combination of the bulgogi and kimchi were good. Just a bit pricy given their size, but it was something to try. The last thing we ordered was the Pantry Stir Fry Noodles, which was my favorite of the 3. It was bit too salty for my liking, but the flavor of the beef and noodles with the veggies was yummy. Overall, it was really good. I'd like to come back and try the other things on the menu.

Saw this place on my Facebook and my boyfriend and I love dumplings- so we figured we would give it a shot for our next date night. DO NOT WALK- RUN! ITS AMAZING! We ordered the following: 1) Extended dumpling flight 2) Tofu fried rice 3) Banh Mi 4) assorted dessert dumplings 5) hand made vanilla bean ice cream Some items are swapped every quarter/season I believe, but no matter what you order, you will LOVE it. Price is great, and the food is even better! All dumplings are hand rolled, everything is incredibly fresh and made from scratch! Service is great! Staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We will most definitely be back very soon!

Ok what can one say that hasn't been said a ton already in the last year. This place has affordable food with great flavor. Jose definitely makes you feel welcome and explains everything to you. Now the food is just hands down fantastic. My wife had a stir fry with a fried egg and the overall flavor was just fantastic. The noodles are hands down some of the best noodles I've ever had. We then went on a dumpling fest with the garlic mushroom, Indian Butter Chicken and pork shiitake. All of which were well crafted and had a ton of flavor. I also had the Bao Buns with the barbacoa and the short rib. All of which were amazing. With the service and the food being so good I can't wait to come back.

We stumbled on this absolute GEM. We ordered the entire menu I think. My husband calls it "tasting". We were blown away. The food is incredible. Everything we ordered was fantastic. Each thing we ordered was an explosion of flavor. The place is adorable and we felt like friends of the family. The staff was so friendly and amazing. We got to meet the chef and others and they seemed so excited to share each menu item with us. It was an amazing experience and we will be back!!!!

This place is phenomenal. The food is made from scratch, with lots of love and you can taste it in every bite. I love supporting a small, family owned business and Pantry is an incredible example of that. You are greeted with such kindness and friendliness the second you enter the door and walked through the menu with such detail and passion. I felt like I was given the perfect amount of direction to make choices across the menu for my first visit here. You HAVE to get a dumpling flight so you can sample their tried and true classics along with whichever seasonal flavors they are experimenting with when you visit. The black garlic and mushroom is a heavy hitter and I was told it surprises most people by being their favorite. Don't knock any of the flavors until you try them! The banh mi and okonomiyaki inspired dishes are heavenly. There is so much flavor packed in and the myriad of textures and components is just insane. I can't even fathom trying to recreate any of these dishes at home and I wouldn't want to because they do everything perfectly. An honorable mention is their chili crisp/oil. It was sooo flavorful and provided a wonderful heat to complement every single bite. Their dumpling sauce is fantastic too. Everything was fantastic, idk what else to tell you. The leftovers were even better the next day because we went to sleep dreaming about how good dinner was. Final thing I'll note is that if you like a more warm, intimate and cozy experience - we really enjoyed sitting in the back across from the kitchen on their comfy bench and watching the team work. It was a wonderful experience and I cannot wait to be back to try more things.

Food is amazing, this spot feels like it's straight out of NYC, it's a small space, you are seated in close proximity to others in the back near the kitchen so if that's not your jam take one of the limited tables up front, but it's cool to sit next to and chat with other patrons, the kitchen staff are on it, fun and engaging. I recommended pretty much anything on the menu but our favorites were the fried rice, bao buns, and sample the dumplings but they're all del

Just maybe start with a smaller size at the restaurant before committing to a full cake. With that being said, I like to believe I have a good palate for Chinese food. If you're coming here expecting authentic Chinese food, you won't necessarily be disappointed but just know that your expectations also may not be met. However, if you're looking for upscale Chinese American food then Teddy Wongs is certainly the place to go. I came here on two different occasions - one for a friend's birthday and another for a date. In short, both were great. Both times did require reservations or at least strongly implied so. I did see one couple that seemed to have gotten turned away on a busy night, so just keep that in mind. Additionally, parking may be a bit of an issue as other reviews have noted. However, if you plan accordingly and park at a nearby lot where it's past hours and marked, then it's not an issue. That's at least how it was for me in both instances. Now, when you walk in, the space is more of a dimly lit environment. Perfect for celebrations or date nights (at least from my two visits). With reservations, we were quickly seated. I will say that we were seated quite close to another table during the date so for smaller parties, you may get to know your neighbors. Both servers in the visits were phenomenal - knowledgeable with the menu, friendly with interaction, and quick overall. Could not ask for better! Having been here twice, especially for the birthday, I'd say that I got to try a good amount of their most popular items. In terms of the dumplings, what stood out to me were the pork and crab soup dumplings, spicey wok-fired har gow, and the truffle pork soup dumplings. An appetizer that I will say was a standout was the cucumber salad. It has a good amount of spice that is well complimented by the cold temperature of the dish with a satisfying crunch. Perfect palate cleanser, especially before the dishes that come ahead. For mains, the spicy cilantro cod was a standout with just the right amount of heat. Of course, you have to get the peking duck. It comes in half or whole options. During both occasions, in parties of four and two, we got the half and it was enough. Sure, it wasn't necessarily the quality that you'd get in Beijing but it's certainly up there for a Chinese American restaurant. For dessert, we got the chocolate dumplings. It's exactly what you would imagine... melty rich chocolate contained within a dumpling wrapper. If you've ever had Din Tai Fung then it's more or less that. Lastly, in terms of drinks, I did get the Lucky Emperor at one visit. It's sweet, crisp, and tart. Great drink that I believe complimented the meal! Overall, I do recommend Teddy Wongs. The food is good but the atmosphere, vibes, and service are what really make this a worthwhile visit.

I asked to speak with a manager, and she informed me that she was the manager. I explained that there was no way for me to know beforehand that I wouldn't like their green tea boba just because I normally enjoy green tea. At that point, her attitude and the way she spoke to me were unnecessarily rude. I remained calm throughout the interaction. I understand that a restaurant can have a policy against removing drinks from a bill, and I could have accepted a polite explanation of that policy. My issue is the way I was treated for simply asking. A manager could have handled this professionally without criticizing a customer or telling them what they should or shouldn't like. The situation ultimately escalated to me being told not to come back. What should have been a minor issue over one drink turned into an extremely unpleasant customer-service experience.
