TLDR: Todd and Nicole are amazing people. They really care about their work, their clients, and their subcontractors, which all ends up with you getting the remodel you dreamed of. Pro hint if the contractors and vendors they work with love them your are on the right track. I am a 1st time home owner. This was my first remodel. I had done some minor updates like paint but nothing to the scale of remodeling both bathrooms, refinishing my ceilings in the entire home, and adding lighting in the main living areas. I spent months researching and calling what felt like every contractor in Las Vegas. Out of 15 contractors that even responded I was only able to get 5 estimates. Now you would think that if they spent the time to come out and give an estimate they would be helpful in answer questions and responsive to contact but the answer was no... only 2 contactors bothered to sit with me to discuss what I really was looking for and what my budget could sustain. The thing that put New Freedom Properties over the top was Nicole's ability to translate contractor into common English. Todd's obvious care about the project and finding solutions to the small problems that inevitably came up. They were conscious of my schedule and my life as I was living in the home during the project and they even accommodated a unusual request in my master bathroom. In the master bathroom (the blue room) I did an entire remodel of everything except the toilet. I had no plans no schematics just a half a photo from Pinterest and a dream. Todd worked his magic, figured it out, and walked me through the changes to our original estimate. In the guest bathroom (the green room) I just wanted a simple update but with Nicole's help it has turned into my favorite room and was under budget. You can tell they really care about what they are doing and really want to make sure you are happy and satisfied without braking the bank. POSITIVES: Quick Response- When called about the project I received a quick call back. I believe it was the next morning. I was able to discussed the project and what I was looking for not just set up a walk through, over the phone. Realistic Expectations- I was given realistic timelines on when to except my estimate, when they would be able to start work and when they would expect to finish. Estimate Format- The estimate was essentially itemized. It was very clear what would cost what, and what was going to be done. It also listed what I would need to provide outside the estimate to complete the project as the owner. Communication- Nicole was always available and communicated in a way that was best for me given I work during day time hours. Opportunities: Measurements- the only opportunity I had to improve with NFP was the measurement for the master bathtub encasement. Since it was a custom ask with no design specs provided by me (it was literally just an idea I had), it would have been nice to have the measurement of the finished area prior to to demo in order to aid in things like the shower head placement and the size of the tub. In the end the sizing is just a bit off but the area is Beautiful and functional. It looks exactly how I wanted it to so I am not complaining but do keep that in mind if you are doing major changes All in all they are beyond 5 stars. Update....Since our last remodeling project, we have purchased another home and we were excited to recreate many of our remodeling creations on a slightly larger platform. Unfortunately this time around our experience with New Freedom Properties was less that stellar. Of course we were originally very excited to have Todd and his crew out again to assess our new project. During the initial estimate he seemed attentive, but that's about the extent of his interest. After a week went by with no proposal, I called Todd to find out the status of our bid but was successful only in leaving a voicemail message. As the days and weeks continued to pass, I called, texted, emailed, and left phone messages and still was completely ghosted by Todd and New Freedom Properties. As a returning happy customer, the last thing that we expected was the cold shoulder. Over a month later, we finally received a bid that was well over priced and incomplete. No Communication, no explanation. Either way, Todd and New Freedom Properties customer service message to us was received loud and clear... they don't want or need our business! Its such a shame that this company doesn't have the respect or integrity to return a customers calls. To date, almost 3 months later we still haven't been able to get a hold of Todd to discuss. I used new Freedom about 4 years ago to remodel my bathrooms and overall, I was very pleased with my experience. Unfortunately, my attempt at being a repeat customer for additional remodeling was very disappointing, to say the least. It started out well. Jeff and Nicole came out and we discussed ideas and what sort of budget we had in mind. We were very excited about the ideas Jeff and Nicole suggested. About a month later, we got back our estimate and it was DOUBLE what we were expecting. There seems to be a pretty big disconnect when you tell a company this is our budget, and then they propose something that is nearly twice what you could even spend. The whole process was a complete waste of time. We called and spoke with Jeff and even submitted a request to remove certain things in order to bring prices down. That was in early January. Nearly 6 weeks later, they still have not responded. Needless to say, we will not be using or recommending New Freedom Properties, as it is very clear they do not care about maintaining customer relationships. read more

We set up a time to receive a quote for a kitchen remodel, wine cellar, tv entertainment center and new front doors. We were looking to spend a good amount of money on remodel projects! We were referred to New Freedom Properties by a neighbor that recently had a kitchen remodel done. First thing, on the day they were scheduled to give a quote they called and told us they had a scheduling conflict and needed to reschedule. Once they came and looked over the project Kyle said he would be back to me with a quote within the next week or so. After three weeks we still had not received a quote. When I reached out I was told that they were under going a reorganization and would not be able to provide me with a quote. New Freedom Properties is the best Contracting Company. I found this company in the website. I called at 8:30 on a Saturday morning and I had the opportunity to speak with Todd. He told me he could come out the following week which he did. We did a walk thru and I explained what I wanted to have done. He took all of the measurement and told me to come down and pick out my flooring, Granite and cabinet. After I picked out what I wanted within a few days I was given an itemized proposal. I was very impressed with that. Before the proposal was finalized I made several changes and not once did he make me feel like he was tired of the changes.:) I asked about French doors with built in blinds, he said sure I need to come out again to measure the doors and he did. Once I made my final decision and signed the contract things started moving quickly. We had a delay, because I requested a larger tub that required him to special order. I can't give enough stars for this company. The entire project was done on time and came in exactly on budget. Todd and his team completed a full house renovation for me. Todd and I met to discuss my renovation. We walked thru my house and I described what I wanted done. This was a huge job that included, but was not limited to, tearing down walls, replacing walls, moving walls, full bathroom remodels (2), installation of tile, flooring, painting and a really, really, heavy marble fireplace surround. Todd provided me with a line by line price for each portion of the job. He itemized everything from plumbing to installing floors etc. It was really easy to keep in budget and make changes (which I did a lot). Each time I made a change I would receive an updated change order with the cost of the change and any credit back. When I called Todd with ideas, changes or questions he was always quick to answer his phone or call me back immediately. He came to the job site very often to discuss progress and ensure that everything was on track and perfect. I had two different crews working on the house. They were the absolute best that you could hope for. They were all extremely professional, polite and experts at their trade. I have never seen such good tile work. I had a tile floor, shower, and extensive backsplashes installed in the kitchen and bathrooms. I can't express how fabulous the tile work is. The grout lines could not be straighter. I was interested in doing a minor home renovation and did some research on Yelp to narrow down my contractor options. I wanted to build a wall in order to make an additional master bedroom and a smaller living space and all new flooring throughout. Upon choosing my top 5 possibilities, New Freedom Properties was my top choice. Todd came to our house to see our remodel options. He took some measurements and sent us a bid, we went down to their office and choose out some flooring. Matt took us to the showroom where he and Marvin were very helpful. I have never done a home renovation before, naturally I had a few questions. Everyone at New Freedom Properties was informed and willing to answer anything I asked. Once we got our start date, Kyle the project manager, came to the house to discuss all the changes we wanted done. He was very helpful in comparing the bid to what we wanted. He was able to see another possibility with the stairs that was a nice/easy and affordable fix to an eyesore. Now for the construction, this was right on pace with their quotes. They said they could have it done within three weeks and it was done before that. We had to pull permits and waiting on the inspections were the only time consuming part of the process.
