Sometimes when you do out with a large group a buffer is a good choice. We were up in the area and the people we were with suggested we go there. I wasn't expecting much when I saw the low reviews. We drove up and the parking lot was pretty full. It was a little odd that when we walked up someone from the restaurant was trimming the little garden in front. I eat vegan so and there were a lot of choices, including veggie sushi and they also had tofu. I had some salad (a lot of veggie choices), green beans, plantains, oranges, veggie lomein, fruit (the oranges were delicious), sweet potato and I had some hibachi veggies that were made in front of me. Is this the best food I ever had? Nope. Was it the worse food I ever had? Nope. It was okay. Our bill did not match the prices posted outside and we were 5 people over 10, but they charged us for 6...they did make the corrections without argument. The service staff was not super friendly but they cleaned our tables and filled drinks often. All in all it wasn't as horrible as some of the reviews state. read more

None of the food was low, everything was freshly stocked, the service was excellent, literally even if we got up for 30 seconds to grab something - our table was cleaned for us.. & the prices were great despite everything being raised these days! Kingdom Buffet was pretty interesting! The restaurant was very clean and smelled great (can't always be said for sushi buffets). The service was pretty good even as it started to get packed. The fish in any of the dishes tasted fresh, really enjoyed the salmon. However, we felt that the sushi options were very limited and nothing spectacular. My favorite was the chef maninho, the truffle in that roll really comes out so I would definitely get that if you enjoy truffle. It was a very smart decision having four piece rolls on the unlimited menu, lets you try a variety and cuts down on waste. The appetizers were the real star of the show during our experience. Love that everything came out hot and fresh. We got two rounds of all the apps we got. I could probably eat 100 shrimp coxinha. Innovativeness like that really demonstrates the Brazilian/Asian fusion they're going for here. Will definitely be going back to try more apps we didn't try the first time around cause we thought we'd fill up on sushi! But not too frequently cause it is a little pricey. This was definitely not my choice. I would have never picked this place, some friends ate there the other day and said it was good. I started with a few different things, roast pork on a stick, pan fried dumplings, an egg roll, peal and eat shrimp and a few cold crawfish. The pork was dry and tasteless, the dumplings and The egg roll had no flavor either. The shrimp were over cooked and the COLD crawfish speaks for itself. Next I had some hot and sour soup, more like hot and bitter. I also tried com shrimp and lobster sauce, shrimp was over cooked and the sauce was watery and no flavor. On the salad bar, it looks fresh except the hard boiled eggs. They were so over cooked they should of been served on St. Patrick's day or as green eggs and ham. It has been a while since we have been here but based on my current experience at this establishment, it was okay. In the past, the food was delicious but currently, it seemed like it wasn't bursting with flavor as it did before. Parking is never an issue here unless it's Sunday but even at that time, you could find parking on the side left side of the property. It shares a big public parking lot with other businesses since it is within a shopping strip. Service definitely lacked due to our waitress didn't speak English well but I will give her credit, at least she tried. Reason why I stated that because my wife and I asked her for water with lemon and she got just water for us. It was quiet during our visit but I will say to be aware of your table because we did have little spider and ants moving around so we had to move to a different table. read more

I've only been there once and that was for lunch but I thought it was pretty good. Good selection, peel and eat shrimp and all the Chinese favorites. Restaurant wasn't too crowded for lunch and I liked that you have to wear a mask AND gloves (which are supplied) when you go up to the buffet. No one seemed to object and I think all were sort of relieved about it when people are going up on their own. Cost me $10.15 for lunch but I only had water with the meal. I have no idea what's charged for soda or tea. Read in the paper last week that the place was closed by the health department for some violations the worst being that uncooked and raw food was kept too close to cooked food so there was the possibility of cross contamination. Restaurant was closed for a day but reopened after a repeat inspection. I'd have no problem going back there. read more

Hello my name is Ricky Villegas, this week I decided to treat my family with some lunch and saw this Buffet here in Boynton, and we decided to go try it. The place was alright at most, the food was nothing outside the ordinary and the wait service was pretty quick. The only thing that did upset me, it was how they took advantage of my family with language barrier and the lunch/dinner fares, when we got, there was a sign that shows the lunch and dinner times. 11.99 for lunch before 3:30pm and 15.49 after 3:30pm. It was 3:12pm and dinner starts at 3:30pm. My family flew from a different country and don't know how to speak english or understand. They entered the restaurant before I did and apparently the guy that counts and charges people told my family that they had to pay dinner fares. They were clueless and just said "okay". I realized what happened once the check came and I saw that I was paying 15.49 without tax, basically more than I should. When I went to do a claim about it. The guy invalidated my argument and kept trying to tell me that my grandma knew although again she doesn't know the language. It was pretty outraging seeing my grandparents apologizing to me for them basically not knowing the language and getting taken advantage off and how inconsiderate was the guy to see that they clearly didn't understand the language but still have the guts to tell them the change of prices. We ended up paying 70.20$ when the original price should've 51.58$. I will be putting up the sign that states the times. read more

In some rare cases you find a buffet that actually makes you scale back your universal dislike of buffets. This is not that story! This is a prime example of why I have come to avoid Chinese buffets across the board. Got invited to Kingdom Buffet for lunch. Upon arrival, the dining area was plain, but spacious. In terms of size and selection, this is beyond the typical. Offerings include your fried rice, noodles, a dozen or so types of chicken, many deep fried options, ect. Basically the standard. What makes kingdom a little different is the addition of the sushi bar, desert area, and even some American dishes for those that have to have their fix (i.e. Pizza, Mac n cheese, fries). What seems to be the problem you ask?! It's bad, all of it. The fact that half of the food is cold is besides the point. It's all tasteless, even hot out the kitchen. Some, amazingly, laugh out loud bad. Like the chicken wings, or the watermelon, which was more water than melon. How does one actually achieve taking the taste out of a natural fruit?!?! Don't get me started on the Singapore noodles.... On to the service. Although we were promptly seated, the staff never came by to pick up any of the used plates, as is to be expected at a buffet. What resulted was a mountain of dishes at the corner of the table. The one positive? Great Chinese donuts. That alone deserves a star. I love this place for it's terrific variety,and the family owned,friendly and helpful management & staff The soup is terrific, especially the hot & sour soup All the entrees are really good,and they keep everything fresh, considering it's a buffet,no easy task They have an excellent salad bar,along with a seafood bar with fresh shrimp, mussels.There is a separate bar for the sushi lovers as well.And a really nice desert station with all kinds of goodies,as well as ice cream .The restaurant is always clean whenever I'm there,again no easy task for an all you can eat buffet.I recommend this restaurant highly,if your hungry,or even if you want to do a quick takeout meal,at a reasonable price.If your in the Boynton area, definitely worth a visit! read more

Went here a few months ago and it was fine. Not the greatest or fanciest place in the world, but it was passable. This time, however, things were less than than stellar. To start off on a positive note, the wantons and the sesame chicken were good. That said, a lot of the other things were disgusting. My mother had coconut chicken and found a gross, brown, squishy piece of--what I'm going to assume was--gristle inside. There was a large flat bone in one of my pieces of general Tsos that I almost sliced the roof of my mouth on. A lot of the food was not fresh. The crispy Chinese noodles were stale and had the texture of cardboard. The almond cookie was so old it disintegrated like an ancient wood chip shortly after putting it in your mouth. The fruit and dessert section? Swarming with flies. The fried shrimp was so over cooked it was actually hard. The fried rice--dear lord, the fried rice--was absolutely one of the worst I've ever had. It tasted like uncle Ben's or ricearoni and you could tell from the color and the type of rice used (it was thick and yellow instead of being thin and brown like fried rice usually is) that it was most likely pre-packaged and maybe even microwaved. The chicken wings and French fries were overly greasy and almost seemed wet because of how much oil was used. Also, to add, the entire place was dirty and rundown. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was broken, so the soap offered was in an open cup on the counter which you had to pour into your hand. The place definitely needs a good sweep, vacuum, and scrub. Kingdom Buffet in Boynton Beach Florida. Yet another Chinese Buffet. Not a bad selection to choose from. One must flag down wait service for extra things, like chopsticks, taking away plates and question of paying a bill. Though I must say the young man knew exact change instantly when I told him the amount, a rarity these days. It was for a birthday for a friend and he choose to go there. No special decor for the Chinese New Year, the place was decorated nicely and there was a pretty dimensional mural of a China scene on the wall along with paper umbrellas and some bright red ornaments. Always see a nice amount of cars in the parking lot and was craving some lo-mein. First impression walking in you could tell this building was old. Should've looked at the food before being seated, if I did, I wouldn't be writing this review. There were surprisingly a lot of people this evening, still blows my mind. The selection was wide, more than your usual Chinese buffets. However as the saying goes, quality over quantity. I've never left a buffet restaurant so fast, the food was terrible and the sushi looked suspicious. The worst of it all, I was craving lo-mein and I got some sort of spaghetti concoction, like legit spaghetti. A lot of the food was dry unless it was being brought out fresh. It pains me to write this as I used to love the food here. I was in Boynton Beach yesterday with a friend and decided to stop in, COVID and all. They take your temperature when you go in and you're given gloves to get your food. Masks are required everyplace except your table. The place was clean and the decor hasn't changed in forever (the carpet HAS to go). HERE'S THE BUT...the food has gone way down hill. I found most items tasteless, the string beans that were always my favorite weren't there. Nothing was as hot as usual. The highlight of my visit were the fried chicken wings. Juicy and flavorful and while not burning hot, they were hot enough to enjoy. Why go to a Chinese restaurant for wings? I'll give this place a COVID pass. Maybe I'll try it when this is all over. As you can see in the name. This is a buffet. The food is very good considering it's a buffet. While not perfect, I don't think you can do better. Soups, about four of them are not bad if you doctor them up a little. After adding some soy sauce and a little sugar to the hot and sour soup, it became one if the best I ever had plus it was teeming with all sorts of Chinese veggies plus slabs of tofu. Wonton soup...tasty broth despite wontons being a bit too doughy. Hibachi station had very large shrimps, veggies plus chicken, pork and beef. I had mine steamed but you can have it with garlic sauce, brown sauce, etc Shrimp in lobster sauce very good. Many other items to choose from including exceptional spare ribs. Tea here is free not like other buffets that rip you off for $1.00 for a penny tea bag. Raw salad bar. Typical desserts with cake, fresh fruit and ice cream. Yes....I would eat here again. I just finished having lunch . The food was ok. . It's quite understandable you don't wear the mask while eating. they have you wear your mask until you're seated. However people should be wearing their masks while getting their food. Today I saw a woman without her mask she started sneezing and coughing over the food then she wiped her face with the glove they provide to protect the utensils . She then proceeded to use that gloved hand to get her food..I said something to the owner and he told me inspectors were in a few weeks ago and masks were not required . .sorry to say it is not the safest place to eat.
