The work was scheduled for a few weeks later. The original estimate seemed high, but we agreed to the terms. The employee did a good job for the first day. Then we were told to complete the last project would require a change with a small increase in price to use some 4 x 4 instead of some 2 x 4 lumber.The work was completed on the second day by the employee and was satisfactory. The problem is when we received an $800 increase in the final bill. When we questioned why the final bill was increased by such a large amount, the owner did not give a reasonable explanation that we felt was acceptable . We reluctantly paid the final bill under protest.

In March the day he was to solidify plans to rebuild my deck, he never showed up. He later said it was to complicated of a build. We had to go without a deck for the summer. Thanks Jeff, says no-one. If you are getting a vinyl decking please remember that the posts and framing are still regular pressure treated wood. When it rots in 6-8 years, your deck is still going to fall apart. There are lots of great contractors, stay clear of this one and book your reputable contractor early because they fill up fast. Jeff gets no word of mouth so of course he is not booked at all.
