I felt the need to drop a review because we had my son's birthday party there yesterday. It was very low stress low pressure and 1/4 of the price of his bday party last year. The kids had a ton of fun, they weren't that concerned with bowling they were just happy to be together and enjoyed the video games the most. SuperPlay provided an itinerary which was great. Bowling, pizza, desert, then video games. They provided us w play cards for each child. Was a great way to celebrate a child's bday. read more

I know I've told y'all before that we LOVE Superplay but GUYS you're legit dumb to NOT have a party here. We had 12 kids, including the birthday boy, and got the deluxe party with bowling, laser tag (2 games,) and arcade time. The kids got $20 each on their arcade cards and birthday kid $30 with 1000 loaded credits. To say that it's a value is not doing it justice. THEY set up everything. They provide the plates, utensils, napkins, food, even the lighter and cake cutter I forgot. We had a dedicated "host," who I am REMISS to remember her name but she was EXCELLENT. I got the cauliflower tacos for myself, and we had a few drinks too. Everything here is always clean. The staff is friendly. And guys...they have a full liquor bar. Back again with my yearly review. ASTONISHED that this place is still open. The workers are theifs, the owner is rude, unacommadating and undeserving of anyones business. Long story short the bartender stole my card after I left my tab opened. I returned the next day with my group of 5 and they had everyone's card except mine. Lone behold, there's a $600+ postmates charge on my card. I was upset and calmly spoke to the manager/owner (not sure which one) but they basically told me to f off and that it was my fault that they had everyone elses card but mine. He spoke to me an very aggresive tone. They are lucky I was nice enough to not file a police report. Filthy place, rude workers, and absolutely TERRIBLE expereince overall. They are a bit out of the way but well worth it! The food is decent. Drinks are great and the lanes well maintained. I also love that there is a raised viewing above the lanes so if you just are watching or talking you are not bothering the people bowling, not to mention you can actually see the games up there. My son and I wanted to maximize the Thanksgiving week by bringing our equipment with us while we spent Thanksgiving with the family in the area. What drew us to Superplay was the super unlimited bowling price they were offering which was a steal. $6 per person for unlimited bowling from 9pm-12am. Who can resist this deal? Obviously not us. It was perfect!! I made a reservation online in spite of an additional $2 processing fee, the deal alone outweighed the additional cost. The guy at the front desk was nice and welcoming and set us up on a lane within minutes. My son and I had a great time. The lanes were well maintained and the interface and score screen were easy to follow and navigate. I think this place is more memorable to me because it's where I finally found out how to finally fix my release for proper axis rotation on the ball. I was so excited to finally improve my bowling. We stayed until midnight and it was the perfect night to do so. The crowd was friendly, young and old and everyone was having a great time. They have a small shop for bowling balls next to the entrance but I didn't see any drilling equipment. It looked like they only sold balls and had a polishing machine. I'm really looking forward to our next visit here. Uwajimaya happens to also be down the road including the noodle place next to it. Fred and I had a blast at this bowling tournament we attended! The drinks were fresh and cold. They had a great tasty skeleton tap. Not to mention the pizza was too tear! So yummy. One of the worst experiences I've ever had bowling and arcading ever in the Pacific Northwest. Completely disappointed in the quality of arcade games that were more than half broken or didn't work, it is unacceptable to expect people to pay 4 dollars for one song on guitar hero. When it came to bowling itself the lanes were way too small and people were closely bunched together. Another issue is the bowling shoes they have are velcro and come apart easily while also being super slippery, not ideal for bowling. The staff was up your bum the whole time too which is hilarious because usually you'd want more service but I've never been hounded so much. Not sure why but they had a young child at the check register too... super strange. The food was okay but was way too expensive. I would never go here again with a group or otherwise. If you want to go bowling in this area go to Park Lanes and if you want arcade games go to Ground Kontrol. Don't waste your money on 90+ dollars for two hours of bowling + crappy shoes & mid food. Thankfully there are other places to go in this area, avoid this place! read more

Do not go here. This is why you shouldn't go here. The staff are super mean to you when you want your change back. When I asked for my change back under there breath I wish they didn't want there change back. When I got my change back they slammed it on the counter. The pizza that I got was cold because I had to stand in line for 30 minutes. All of there cooks were out.It looked ok inside but that is the only good thing. awesome! me and my husband love this place. super fun! we didnt order food so i can't comment about that. the workers were nice and not rude. the game modes were fun and you dont have to talk to the workers if you want the bumpers on/off, you can manually do it on the touchscreen, which you cant do at the Kingpins in beaverton cedar hills crossing. place is sweet! the arcade is nice as well and the laser tag is very fun. will keep continuing to come! read more

I hated this place. Went here on a date with my wife and was very sad to find half the arcade games were either broken or overpriced. Lanes seemed crowded for no reason as half of the alley was unused. There are a lot better/more professional bowling experiences around the area I recommend checking them out first. read more

Great deal on the Thursday night we went (9.50 for the whole night). Typically it is $10 per game I believe so try to snag this great deal. Typical bowing alley, no lights or anything but was playing popular hip hop songs from the last 20 years if you're into that. Arcade was fun with good selection. Bar available but did not try. WORST service ever! Numerous times we have taken our family to this establishment and they are ALWAYS UNDERSTAFFED and when you do get help for food or beverages etc it takes an eternity to get served. Last straw was the evening of Saturday 2/29/2020 my family of six paid for two games and shoe rentals. In the 9th frame of our first game we were told we were being moved from lane 3 to lane 7 immediately because they had a party booked. We agreed to move once our current game was complete. We move everything from lane 3 to lane 7 and sat for over 15 minutes waiting for the transfer.... we then realize our session had been moved to lane 10 not lane 7. One employee at the front desk with a swarm of people waiting to be helped... same girl that said we were being moved. If I am being charged $84.00 for bowling two games I expect at least decent service.... never happened! She responded with a smirk when I confronted her about the lane.... I then requested my money back for the second game as it was clear they had no clue how to treat paying customers! It took over 20 minutes and a second employee to get reimbursed for our second unplayed game. Maybe new management and some employees that are at least properly trained would help because this establishment "could" be stellar if managed well. The future of bowling? Nahh just another version of fun center. With a bowling alley. Dave and Buster's of the now. The music the flashing lights the giant tv screens with lights flashing and following some music. Some kind of action film of short clips of car chases mountain climbing other sports highlights. All short clips of action for the attention defecit fiends that need more and different. There are plenty of games and pinball and even a virtual reality zone. Seemed to be broken while we were here or not operating at the 6-8pm time slot. Plenty of kids of all ages crawling, snaking around on the ground and or running and walking after each other from spot to spot as adults stand still to avoid being crashed into or accidentally stepping into their ever changing path. The bowling seemed purely for drinking throwing the ball harder and harder through the legs one leg backwards and throw any ball crowd. Which is great if that's what you want. I guess I am old. I walked out after making arrangements for another parent to take my child home. I felt relief as I stepped outside to no noise and no flashing lights. No real food to speak of. Fries Burgers Pizza. My family and I came from Seattle to Oregon for the weekend. We decided a little family bonding sesh over bowling sounded great on a Friday night. The lane we were in kept freezing. Went up to them 3 times and they switched us over to the next lane but this lane started lowering down the incorrect amount of pins. It was okay for a while and then it was stuck again. So once againnnnn, we had to go up and tell them. You can request songs via a website to be played but don't even bother unless you are willing to pay and most importantly THERE IS NO SELECTION. All the music is outdated or if the song you want is there, it won't be allowed to be played at this venue?? Assuming it's about how it's rated? Which is weird cus they played Closer by Chainsmokers and the music video which was a full make out sesh of two people half naked the whole time?? Lol The photo booth was the most basic one I've ever been in. No designs or patterns and there is no lighting. The pictures we took came out super dark. We just had a birthday party for my son who turned 9 years old. We've been to this place before for my sons friends party and he really wanted to have party there. I was pleasantly surprised with the price $200 for a party of 10 kids ( included: 2 laser tag games, arcade cards of $5 for guests and $10 one for the birthday child, 2 pizzas, refillable sodas, these plates and cups) Outside of the building is very old so you might have a perception inside will be the same. Disappointing experience today. This place is poorly managed. Expected it to be busy but did not like that only half of the bowling lanes were being used. This meant everyone was crowded together. Since this place charges by the hour, it really sucks sharing a lane with other people (when it's not necessary). That chews up your time which is expensive. Another disappointment was the arcade. Several of the game machines didn't work -- turned off and pushed against the wall. For the few that worked it was fairly expensive. Guitar Hero is $4 per song! First time here but may be our last time. We came here hoping for a fun night. They were having a $1 per game so we expect that it may be busier. However we were told that we have to wait for at least one hour to get our lane. As we were waiting we noticed 7 lanes that were not being used. My husband inquired about the lanes that were not being used. They said they need to provide lanes separation since there was a league going on. Do they need 7 lanes of separation? Amazing! Ladies who worked there were not very friendly! Update We have waited over an hour now. The league has finished and people were gone for at least half and hour. We were still waiting. Yesterday I had a party here. I ordered places and was charged for 10 kids. I only got 8 places and 8 treat bags. Staff was friendly. The lady who was helping us said she would come see us 5 mins before we change each activity. I didn't see her the rest of the night. There was confusion about where we should start to bowl they put us on lanes that already had kids playing on them. And then after they cleared the screens i had to ask her to come sanitize everything because she wasn't going to. The kids had fun bowling but were hungry pretty quick. The pizza came out no one told us what time we were scheduled to eat or play so we had to rush to eat so we could get to our laser tag time. The kids had fun again and everything was cool we did cake and presents and at this point it was about 7:30 at least. Our party was at 4! I went to the counter and asked when our second laser tag started and he said we should be in there right now even though we were never called in. There was another group in so we had to wait. After that we did the arcade. Most of the machines didn't work. Then i asked the worker to combine my 3 cards to one. I went to keep playing and what nobody tells you is that the money doesn't transfer. So she gave me the card with money and then kept my points card because when i went back to redeem she said i only had 64 points when she had told me before i had over 1100. She gave me my points card back (pretty sure she kept the other 64 points) Overall i was not happy with my experience and would not recommend having a party here unless you don't mind being there for 4+ hours. I will never return here again. 3 twelve year olds asked how much it cost for 3 slushees. They were told $6. They handed the attendant a $20 bill and were provided $2 in change. They questioned the change they were provided. They were met with a stern $6 per drink. They tried to explain that is not what they were told but were interrupted and told it's already been put into the register and nothing they can do. The attendant then dispensed 3 12oz slushees. Later, I went to the attendant explaining recapping my understanding of what transpired and was told- I know it sucks, yeah it's ridiculous cost, and sorry there is nothing we can do as we aren't allowed to give refunds once the money is in the register. I was provided Terry Pearce's name and email. I sent an email to Terry explaining my concern and adding the context I spent over $100 on pizza, other food, drinks, bowling, games, etc. (not counting the slushees). Terry's response without exaggeration was: 1) Sorry you feel that way 2) quoted pricing strategy and the price Pepsi suggests 3) informed me they are in business to make money and their costs have gone through the roof 4) enlightened me that minimum wage has just gone up to $15.95 5) included details about their markup methodology and their costs including utilities, lease expenses, more details, and "the list goes on and on" 6) ended with Sorry inflation has hurt all of our pocket books. Made it to SuperPlay tonight for their New Year's eve party. Staff was very professional and definitely on point. At the end of the night, what impressed me the most was, as I was getting my bowling ball and equipment, went to search for my soda. The staff had accidentally thrown it away. Hillary, one of the crew members, without hesitation went and brought me another one. Keep in mind, five minutes to closing so I wasn't terribly too worried about a beverage. I did a vr party there. The vr was pretty cool but expensive and the guy hosting us didn't know how to play all the games. Not awesome but okay. While not doing vr we player in the arcade. Half the games were broken. The basketball shooting game didn't release all the balls. The gun on the right side of the terminator game had issues with reloading. And the seat in one of the racing games wouldn't lock in place. All the games were super expensive ( same games as in the nickel arcade but 10x as much) Save your money go somewhere else read more

I came for the burger I had read about online and it was fabulous! Ordered the buffalo wings cause I just cant resist them and they were very good. Big plump and juicy with not to much hot sauce on them. A little weird to have macaroni salad served with them but hey its their thing and it was pretty good mac salad. on to the burger!!! 1/3 pound patty perfect mid rare lettuce tomato and onion on the side and I did a build your own burger with Swiss cheese mushrooms and bacon. I showed up here with my buddy as a last resort looking for some late night fun in Southwest Portland A couple weeks ago and I think we got there at around 10 PM it was packed but a lot of fun. I thought the service was very good and the food was decent for a bowling alley. I also left my phone there by accident and I was able to get in contact with the owner by calling them when they weren't open, and I got my phone back, you know what losing your phone is like.
