    Order receipt

Not a huge deal in the big scheme of things, but pretty annoying. I ordered fried rice with no onions, they repeated it back and it even said no onions on the receipt. It genuinely seemed like they put extra onions in. I picked out as many as I could, but ultimately it ended up being pretty gross.

    Shrimp fried rice

I have been next door to this restaurant over 100 times but never went. I was craving some shrimp fried rice so went and it's a pleasant spot. Service was great and food served very quickly. This is mainly takeout although they do have several tables for dine in. The fried rice was full of shrimp and was not spectacular but overall hot and fresh. I will return and try some other items soon.

    Mei fun house special

I like dumplings with thicker skin that are pseudo home made... a little irregular and flavorful. King's garden does not use the frozen manufactured ones. They were a perfect bite with the Mei fun noodles. I took out a plate full, and the box still looked full. I'm glad I have others to share some delicious leftovers. They constructed a whole new plexiglass barrier with speakers, and seem to have the carry out game down. Just remember the number they give you when you order, otherwise it takes longer to hunt down the order. Would love it if they offered carside, but def hit the spot for Chinese takeout.

Really great take out Chinese. Dumplings are outstanding as are all of the dishes we've tried. Food is prepared quickly.

Friendly service in a reasonable time with good food. While you can dine in the take out business seems to be what they do most.

I haven't had Chinese in a while so I decided to DoorDash an order of Sesame Beef, a shrimp egg…read moreroll and a mango bubble tea! My order arrived surprisingly quickly and smelled great! I mixed some of the white rice in the sesame beef and scooped up a nice mouthful, the sauce actually has a perfect sweet tang to it but I had the most disappointing moment as I chewed. The meat didn't taste like beef and it didn't taste like chicken, I tried another two pieces and couldn't swallow those down either - it also was very chewy but in a squishy kind of way not a tough beef type of way, I don't know how else to describe but it just did not taste or feel like I was eating beef. I decided to try my mango bubble tea and was equally disappointed, it was very flat and watery. I even tried to eat my egg roll but I could only get half way. I ended up just eating the broccoli and most of the white rice but my appetite was gone by then. I ended up throwing everything away. The reviews seemed pretty positive so I'm actually surprised - I don't think I've ever been disappointed with Chinese food before today.

Lots of takeout bags and a pretty overall typical vibe for a Chinese restaurant. Got egg rolls, beef and sweet and sour chicken. Sweet and sour chicken was not what I was expecting but still tasty. Everything was pretty cheap and we left with leftovers. Had to get our fortune cookies ourselves on the way out where they have set up for takeout orders. All in all good experience

Weekdays, they offer a buffet that gave us a chance to try a variety of foods. Most of the options are of Indian origin. We started with Gobi Manchurian (fried cauliflower) which was perfectly spicy and delicious. I had to go back for seconds. The samosas were very flaky and tasty. We tried the chana masala, chicken tikka, paneer tikka, jasmine rice with vegetables, Szechwan chicken, fried baby corn and more. Each dish was delicious with the perfect amount of spice. They give you an option of several breads and we selected the garlic naan. The freshly made breads arrived hot at the table with melty garlic butter. The service was ultra friendly. Beverages and bread come out quickly. Staff members checked on us multiple times. The buffet was a kept clean. Service is five stars For dessert, I had mango mousse and honey balls. What a treat! The mousse was sweet and light. The honey balls are plain addictive. The dining room is tastefully modern and upscale. Seating was comfortable. Tables were far enough apart that we could easily talk. If you don't want the buffet, you can order from the menu. The menu is expansive. Beer and wine are available. We drank mango juice. I ate way too much because the food was soooo good. My husband says, save the airfare, don't go to India, go to Monk's. We are already planning another trip back to Monk's. We found plenty of parking behind the cafe. They have a beautiful patio with umbrella covered tables if you want to eat outside.
