I arrived at 12:20 (booked for 1:00 start) and found the doors were locked. I waited until 12:30 to call, thinking the staff may not arrive until 30 minutes or so before a scheduled event. I called several times between 12:30 and 1:00 only to get a voicemail option each time. I left several messages. Needless to say, no one ever showed up and when my guest arrived for her surprise party, myself and our guests were all standing in the heat outside the building. I was so embarrassed and felt terrible for my friend. I eventually received a call back from a representative with the Par Pub apologizing for their scheduling error and offering a later time that day, but at that point we were half way through the party that we moved to the bowling up the street. In my opinion the offer was dismissive and rude, given the circumstances. I asked for a refund of the $171 I had paid upfront and I respectfully declined the offer for a later time. To say I am disappointed in this experience is an extreme understatement - Maybe they should call themselves the Sub-Par Pub - definitely a more fitting name given their lack of care.

The service was great as two servers consistently checked in on me and the atmosphere was fine. I thought this place was ok and would be fun to go with a group but it wouldn't be my first choice to eat and watch a sporting event. There is plenty of parking available in their lot.
