Everyone, from the pharmacists to the staff in front, has been extremely courteous, helpful, and responsive every time I've talked to them. Couple weeks ago, one of their pharmacists Melissa caught a mistake from my pediatrician on a prescription for my toddler's antibiotic. The error that would have resulted in him getting double the intended dose. As a tired and frantic mom whose child is sick, I am so appreciative of her expertise and taking the time to ensure a safe therapy. I'm a new customer in the LA area I randomly called to see if they compounded a topical for my hair. I'm also a compounding tech but didn't want my pharmacy to make it for privacy reasons. The technician and the pharmacist Ronnie were very prompt and professional they bring prestige back to the pharmacy profession with there honesty and dedication which is a rarity, trust me lol. The quality of this topical is great easy to use and they even sent me syringes for application. Okay this place is great. I had a specific Rx for a sinus condition that my dr referred me to and they were extremely helpful in applying the most cost effective program for me for this drug. I recently ran into a copay problem on another prescription I take at another pharmacy where the copay went from $20/mo to $88/mo. After several hours calling different insurance lines the issue was identified. I called Kings to see if they could help. While they couldn't in this particular instance, the pharmacist spent a few seconds on the phone and knew exactly what caused the problem with the program I was on. I had to call around looking for a specific medication that is actually being discontinued, and I finally found success here at Kings Pharmacy in Fullerton. The woman who answered the phone was extremely helpful with finding me what I needed. Sadly I didn't get her name. She said my items would be on hold near the front. The pills DID expire as of last month, so they were being marked down 50%. Since I'm desperate, I'll take it, since I know I won't die from a 20-day old allergy pill. This specific area on Sunnycrest is kind of confusing for a first timer like myself; there wasn't a big sign for the location since this isn't a CVS or Walgreens type of pharmacy. There is a Peet's Coffee right around the corner if that helps any newcomers out. Try to park in the few spaces available for the pharmacy; some spots are 10 minutes only right in front of Peet's. Entering the small pharmacy, it reminded me specifically of one I was partial to where I grew up, with all the random gifts and knick knacks up front. There were numerous people behind the counter, and one of the ladies came around to help. I knew it wasn't the one I spoke to since she hesitated slightly as she searched for my stuff. I had given her the description of what I was looking for, then gave my name and that is when another woman came around to grab my stuff. A gentleman-the pharmacist-spoke up, telling them not to charge me. I was under the impression this was going to be discounted, but wasn't expecting them to be free. He explained he couldn't charge for them since it was a few weeks past the date, which was fine with me. The demeanor over the phone as well as in person was courteous, and if Kings Pharmacy were closer-and if I needed medication-I would be a loyal patron. Great business! read more

There was a particular drug I needed which involved some drama and Harishma, the pharmacist, did everything in her power to make it happen. Every time I called she made me feel like I was her top priority. After going to big chain drugstores, dealing with the long waits and only seeing pharmacist from a far, this was a huge deal. I'll start by saying I hate insurance companies and distrust the medical field in general so much so that instead of going to a doctor, I'll either just tough it out or ask a doctor friend for help. I had no choice but to go see a dermatologist recently because I had an itchy rash on my back that appeared to be spreading. It turned out to be eczema and the dr wrote me a script for Vanos. He insisted that I only use the brand name stuff and that I use the pharmacy across the street--King's. Even though he disclosed that he doesn't have any financial gain by recommending this product (no stock shares, etc...) I was still skeptical. Nonetheless, I went to King's as he gave me a coupon for a free tube of Vanos. When I arrived, Corrina promptly helped me. Because I hadn't yet received my insurance card (hubbie started new job 2 weeks ago), I gave her the info I had. She called around for about 20 minutes getting my info correct and taking care of it. She was incredibly patient and did her due diligence to earn my trust and business. I left King's in about 25 minutes with my script filled. What a great place! read more

This is a compounding Pharmacy, which customizes your prescription needs for necessary reasons. such as to avoid allergic reactions to dyes and/ or preservatives. It's just plain cool to have your medications prepared the old fashion way! It appears that they specialize in hormone replacement therapy as well. My doctor prescribed me 2 special medications at about 4pm. The nurse called the pharmacy and checked to see if I could come by to pick it up today, the pharmacist said yes. When I walked in just minutes later, the pharmacist said they were just finishing up. He checked my allergies before proceeding. The shop has specialty soaps and lotions and kept me occupied for the few minutes that I waited. When walking inside king's you can't help to want the pharmacist to take his time. They have so many cute and fun knickknacks to see. It's so clean and organize. I was given a prescription by my doctor who referred me to different compounding pharmacy. After 4 weeks of my persistently following up with them, the other pharmacy was unable to confirm my insurance coverage. At this point, I called a King's Pharmacy. They called me and confirmed receipt of the prescription and said they could fill it. 3 Business days later they called me and said insurance covered it and informed me of my copay.
