This place is a gem. The best pizza and the best customer service . When the owner of the place is cleaning and serving food that shows the service you get. My husband bit into pizza and something hard cracked his front tooth! Took into and showed son of owner said that he knew exactly where it came from. Said he would be in touch w us. Two months later I went in last night 06/25 and son of owner was not aware. Owner came forward and fought in another language and took me to that false. Upon leaving I saw son and he said nothing to me. I left my number w owner and to date he hasn't reached. Front tooth is out place and hurts. Next step? read more

Stopped by King's Pizza while hanging out at Clearwater Beach. The place itself is super small and it was really hot inside, so I grabbed a seat outside. I got two slices and a Coke for under $10, which was nice on the wallet. The pizza was okay--not bad, just nothing special. If you're hungry and want something quick and cheap near the beach, it does the job. Would I go out of my way to come back? Probably not. read more

Food was ok. The prices were right for two slices of pepperoni and a can of pop, like $7.99. The sauce wasn't dealt that great, although at least it did come out nice and hot. The crust has a nice flip to it, thinner but not too crispy to fold. I also ordered the garlic knots too, they were covered in Parmesan cheese but sort of flavorless. read more

If you are a fan of Garlic this is your place. We ordered the calzone and a slice of meat lovers pizza. The pizza was reheated to crispy, which I love. It had good flavor and generous pounds of meat..lol The calzone was enough for two, cheesy with bits of ham inside and loaded with roasted garlic. Delicious. Liked that there was parking in the back. I had a frustrating experience with Kings Pizza in Clearwater. I placed an online order at 7:30 PM for two pizzas and wings, and received a confirmation text saying it would be ready for pickup at 8:00 PM. I arrived right at 8:00 and checked in with the hostess at the front. She told me the order was in their system and would be ready in about 10 minutes. After waiting another 20 minutes, I checked again--only to be told that the kitchen had never received the order, even though it was showing in their front register system. At that point, nearly an hour had passed since I originally placed the order. I was asked if I wanted to cancel, but since I had already paid (including tip), I asked them to go ahead and make the food. I then waited another 20 minutes for the order to finally be prepared. While the hostess did apologize, the restaurant really needs to figure out how an order can be confirmed online and appear in their system, yet never make it to the kitchen food order queue. Unfortunately, the food didn't fully make up for the experience. The pizza itself was good, but the BBQ wings were overly sauced and cold. Our family only ate two out of the dozen we ordered. Overall, a disappointing experience due to the lack of coordination and long wait time. read more

While staying close by, we decided to try this local pizza place. They had quite a few options which was delightful, and we were able to get several salads to go with our delicious pizza. It was a busy day, but it didn't take as long as anticipated, which was great as everyone was hungry! The veggie pizza was delicious with just the right amount of toppings to crust . We had asked to replace the cheese with feta, which gave it a tangy crispness. The salads were plentiful for the price and definitely worth the addition to the meal. I would also highly recommend the garlic knots, which were yummy, and the flavor of the crust was repeated in the fluffiness of the knots. Definitely worth checking out! read more

True New York style pizzeria with by the slice ordering and the chaos that goes with the old Italian guy yelling across the counter from the ovens and the young Italian guy running the register and not knowing who's next in line. Terrible service do not recommend!!!! I had ordered at 7:22 and I did not receive my food until 8:15. I had complained one time very politely and the girl in front was super super kind she was working hard and she said that the fryer was 45 minutes behind which is fine but I feel like I should have mentioned that when I had ordered. After the 45 minutes I had inquired again they said they hadn't started my food so I asked to cancel and for a refund and they were unable to do so, the manager came up and was incredibly rude to me and the poor girl in the front I was told it would take another 15 minutes!! I finally had received my food and they gave me a free drink with it. Management do better be kind to your guests and employees!!! read more

It's the street from It's a family run business and everything every time is perfect. I would give them a 5 if the pizza were a bit heartier. There was nothing wrong with the flavor, and everything tasted fresh--nothing was spoiled. The cheese, pepperoni, and sausage all tasted great. Personally, I like my pizza just a bit saltier, but that's my preference. I'm not too concerned about a little flop, as long as the crust tastes good. In this case, the crust had a nice consistency--golden brown, not burnt or too hard, just right. It had the perfect amount of texture, and it was delicious. For the crust thickness, I'd rate it a 5. It's a solid option for anyone who likes a pizza with good flavor and texture, even if you prefer a thinner crust. The flavor of the crust was great, and the dough held the pizza together well. I'd rate it a 4.8 for flavor, as I prefer a slightly thicker crust with more flavor. I'm more of a hearty pizza guy, and I felt the cheese was a little lacking. It was tasty, but I like a bit more cheese. So, for the cheese level, I'd give it a 4.3. It had the right amount of texture and salt, but I prefer a thicker, heartier cheese. This is located right next to Cocos crush bar right behind the Surfstyle store - there's a mini mart in this store if needed. We're suckers for finding great pizza anywhere we vacation & this beat out 2 others we tried. Service was great besides having to wait a bit for your pizza. Place is pretty small and gets crowded. We actually called in our order and they said 20min which turned out to be 30 since it was hoppin! read more

The pizza was mid the thing that really got my ticked off was the service the guy was very rude and it was clear he didn't want to be there. He was screaming at his coworkers for no reason, I would try to order and he would completely ignore me because he was too busy texting on his phone. If you are looking for a takeout or eat outside on the Clearwater beach. this is a must stop in for a slice. All fresh made with love. Alex, the pizza maker and calls himself Chef Mechanico (Mechani ), and the crew were very welcoming. Outside the nice deck to sit at with a dozen or so table, inside small and quaint. We had both the regular cheese, slice, and grandma slice. If you are looking for the best slice in the area, this is it! The grandma Sicilian slice was full of flavor with a nice crispy crust. Small family owned place with about 5 tables inside, and a few outside. Owner worked tirelessly to reopen after Hurricanes Helene & Milton. Just wanting to be a place for cleanup workers & the few visitors to have a place to get food. Kudos to him!! Order at counter and grab your drinks from the cooler. I mean, it's pizza. It solved the problem of feeding hungry teens. I'm a pizza snob unfortunately having grown up on New Haven and New York pizza. Local here and love the food but dislike the service and time it takes for delivery. Even when they are not busy. Using uber tells you when they are preparing and when they are on their way and an expected delivery time. It is always at least 30-40 min past that! And the food is cold. We live 3 minute drive at the end of the street. Every single time and we continued to order again and again. No more! Hire another delivery person or an additional delivery person if you're that busy. Guest services will always get you return customers. It's not always about the food. Gave you more chances than you deserved. read more

Seeing as this was a local spot, and my coworker recommended it, I figured i'd give it a shot, order something for lunch on one of my shifts. Well, that's about as far as I got. One night, I called, (admittedly somewhat close to closing time) for a delivery, probably about a five minute drive. The phone rang and rang and there was no answer. I figured, hey, they're trying to close shop, that's cool. I'll try again next time. Next shift, I made sure to call ahead of time, before I even left to go to work so that I could get an order in. Ring-ring. Ring-Ring. Went straight to voicemail then, and it was definitely an hour and a half atleast until closing time. I guess if you wanna eat here, you gotta go to them. That's fine and all, but don't advertise delivery. I'd say give Gondoliers a shot on Clearwater Beach, for all sorts of Italian cuisine. Zero stars for this place HORRIBLE!! My whole family is still sick worst ever. Never again I'm telling everyone I know how aweful. When I called to tell the manager about our problem because we had it delivered the manager named "mike" said there was something wrong with us. Ha! We are pizza fanatics and this was hands down the worst ever. Worst ever!!!!! If the customer says hey we got sick off of your food at least try and remedy the situation the last thing you should do as a business owner is tell the customer that there is something wrong with them. This place was AMAZING!!! My family and I were only staying in Clearwater for a week, but decided to eat here twice because it was so good. It is good walking distance from everything, and everything is pretty cheaply priced. The staff was so nice and the place was very clean. This is a must go if you are visiting Clearwater Beach. We worked with manager/part-owner Ryan Pattie in advance to coordinate the dinner, including special printed menus featuring the specific dishes and wines we selected for our guests. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the restaurant staff was not aware of our reservation for 20 people. We were also informed that Ryan was not there. We tried calling Ryan on the cell phone number he had personally provided to us for any questions or issues related to the event, but he did not answer. While the staff was trying to figure out what had happened and attempting to reach Ryan, some of our guests went ahead and ordered bottles of wine. The staff did their best under the circumstances to accommodate our group and make the evening work. To their credit, they were helpful and made an effort to turn an awkward situation into a pleasant dinner. The food itself was good. What is most disappointing, however, is what happened afterward. We have made numerous attempts over the past nearly four months to contact Ryan Pattie, both by calling and texting his cell phone and by contacting the restaurant, simply to give him an opportunity to explain what happened or offer an apology. He has not returned our calls or messages. Mistakes happen, especially with large events, but failing to properly communicate with a wedding party that made arrangements in advance--and then completely ignoring repeated attempts to resolve the issue afterward--is unacceptable. The restaurant staff and kitchen deserve credit for doing their best that evening, but the lack of preparation, the failure to have the reservation properly communicated to the staff, and especially the complete lack of follow-up from Ryan Pattie left us extremely disappointed. Based on our experience, we would have a very difficult time recommending César's Italian Restaurant for an important event or special occasion where reliable planning and communication are essential.
