So, months after the hurricanes hit, I decided to come back to visit this little joint. So far, service is still good and the eating environment is still as magnificent as ever. Definitely slow in service when it comes to the pizza, sadly. In hindsight I do feel like I overhyped how good their pizza was in my previous review. It's still really good and tasty, but at the same token, I can't help but feel it's kind of weak terms of the crust flavor. Everything is still homemade from what I can tell, so I will commend them for that, but it's alot pricier than what the quality warrants. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza and paid close to $8 with tax. While my pizza was edible, the pizza size was super small. To make matters even worse, the pizza dough they use here is pre-made, not fresh, and exactly what you would expect if you bought the pre-packaged, already baked dough from the supermarket. As other reviewers mentioned, the dough has perforated holes on the bottom. So basically, they are throwing cheese and toppings on top of unfresh manufactured dough. Any pizza shop that does this should be ashamed of themselves and truly embarrassed. It's and insult to pizza and the cooks that would stoop so low to do this. This isn't a true authentic pizza place, it's an imposter pizza place pretending to be one. They need to immediately spend the money to buy some flour and roll some fresh dough. It's not that hard,and may actually be more cost effective. Also, sell slices. I hate when pizza places think they're too good to sell slices and only whole pizzas (especially, this place since aren't even making freshly made authentic pizza). Lastly, toppings. I asked for them and was only provided a single packet of parmesan cheese and another of chili flakes. All the tables I could see had one chili flakes shaker in them. No fresh Parm, oregano, garlic powder...not even salt or pepper. That should tell you everything you need to know. Yeah, definitely not going back to this place anytime soon. read more

Came here with a party of six when the restaurant wasn't too busy yet. It took awhile for our drink order to be taken after we seated ourselves. When our drinks were brought to us, our server never checked on us asking for refills. Instead, we had to pull servers aside each time we needed a refill. Additionally, our group ordered two personal size pizzas and two medium pizzas. One of the pizzas we had ordered was given to another table by mistake, and it took at least 30 minutes to get a hold of our server and inform her we had not received this pizza. At this point, the rest of our party had already finished their meal. We ended up just ordering a salad after being told it would take an additional ten minutes for our other pizza to come out. I decided to sit at the bar and David came right over to begin service. I asked him for recommendations as I was having trouble deciding between the pizza and the spaghetti. He said both were excellent choices and to go with the spaghetti if I was very hungry because it came with a salad. Based on that I opted for the supreme personal pizza. It was incredible. The ingredients are fresh and plentiful and the sauce was very good. David and Stephanie both checked on my several times during my meal and thanked me for coming in as I was leaving. The mozzarella sticks easily came from a bag. The garlic knots were awful. Absolutely. Almost like they used a wrong ingredient. The pizzas were mid. Basic. Not what I expected from a place that seemed legit. The crust was like cafeteria pizza. The sandwich was ordered with extra oil and vinegar. It was fine. Smaller than expected but it tasted like it was supposed to. Along comes the bill. They charged $1.50 each for the extra oil and vinegar! $3 for the extra drops. $3! Insane. The prices were high overall but that is stupid. It's not the $3. It's the point. We asked the server and he was like... oh well. My husband is Italian and he said something along the lines that the food doesn't taste legit. The bartender said oh... the owners are not Italian at all.
