The pizza was delicious! The crust was perfect, crunchy on the outside and soft inside and it was thin. The sub was also so good. We sat outside and the weather was perfect. 5-16-2025 at 4:30pm. This will be our new go-to place! I had the Philly Cheesecake sub combo and the wife had a chicken parm sub combo which means it came with fries and a can of soda. The subs were good and the fries were crispy and cooked to perfection. A very large menu that has more than just pizza. I think there were 4 tables inside with 4 chairs per table and an outdoor patio with multiple tables. 2 days prior we were at Surfside Taphouse and paid $10 more for a Philly Cheesesteak sub. King's Pizza is wallet friendly and the food is good. We found our new spot. read more

Visiting from NY and must say I am happy I stumbled upon this little pizzeria while walking in that area hungry. The garlic knots were so good and fresh and the inside is cute and small with a few tables and Frank Sinatra was playing which was cute. There are a few outside tables and umbrellas. We got a one topping large pizza with 2liter soda for $15 plus tax. They have deals like 2 slices of cheese and a soda for $5.99. We also got fried Zucchini (my fave in this meal), onion rings and some garlic knots (also so yum and inly $3 for 6!). Seek this place out! Vacationing in Clearwater Beach. We were looking for a good Pizza Place and King's had overall good reviews. This is a very small local place Coronado St. We ordered a Cheese Pizza and a Meat Lovers. Wait time was 35 minutes which is not unreasonable. There are only a couple tables inside, but more outside in their patio. Very busy. Pizza's were pretty good, they put garlic butter in the crust when it comes out of the oven and that is really tasty. The cheese only pizza was tasty and cheese seemed to be buttery and good quality. Meat Lovers was good as well. Worth a try if in Clearwater Beach. read more

I wish I had pictures but this place was such a great hole in the wall. We went for the liquor store and ended up getting a slice for lunch. After each getting a slice of pizza, we ended up going back again for dinner!!! It was that good that made us go back. Crust was thick + crunchy, def not the NY style if you're expecting that. The one thing that every New York pizza should have is a thin crust that doesn't flop when you hold the pizza up and that crust should be crispy !! Our family group of 12 spent the week of Christmas at a townhouse nearby and stopped at King's for a casual lunch. About half of our group dined in and we took food home for our other family members who wanted to hang out at the townhome. Having lived in NYC for almost two decades, it's hard to beat the pizza back home. So, when traveling outside of NYC and eating pizza, we have to be fair and grade on a curve so as not to be snobby about pizza. That being said, we really enjoyed the pizza here. We ordered a Supreme & a Meat Lover's to stay and enjoyed the flavors of each. The crust, too, was pretty good. It was not a New York thin crust - more like a hand tossed like what you may get from Domino's... only much better. We scarfed down the 2 pies and took another Supreme back for the rest of the fam. There are a few small tables inside and several tables outside. We opted for the outside seating area as it was a perfect day out to dine al fresco and people watch. If you don't want to order by the pie, you can also order by the slice from the few pies they have available for that. Prices are fair and the staff took good care of us. Not the jolliest of fellas inside but who cares? We got good food at decent prices and they provided us with everything we asked for. We ordered for pickup, drove over the ride was quick. The parking lot is small and so is the restaurant. Walked in the Stromboli we ordered was not ready. The manager greeted us and had us laughing with his gift of gab!! We chatted until our order was ready. Once we got home the Stromboli was Perfect!! It was garlicky, bursting with cheese, sausage, pepperoni, onions and bell peppers. Loved every bite of it. Would definitely come back over and over again. Found this gem while walking around my hotel. The fresh slices of pizza in the display counter drew me in. We were not hungry enough for a whole pie and the crowded ordering station was worrisome. I decided on takeout eggplant sub for under $10. Best sandwich we have had in a long time. Respect to the cook for his treatment of the ingredients. So I was here a year ago. The place has nice outdoor seating and we chatted up some drunk Scottish guys who were funny. The slices of pizza were good-sized but not especially large, smaller than what I got at Captain's Pizza on Mandalay. Kings pizza , a nice late night bite. This is your usual pizza place with hoagies, calzones and so on. My wife and I have ate here twice now and enjoyed it both times. The pizza is pretty good for those late cravings and they have a wide selection of other goodies. I also tried the Philly they have and it was actually really really good. We also tried a calzone but it was more cheese than meat and that wasn't the best for us. Atmosphere is pretty awesome with it being family owned and everyone running around to fulfill orders and shouting. We then returned 10 minutes early; had to repeat my order; and then asked if I paid. King's Pizza has really good food and the pizza and salads are amazing. Only issue I have is that they do NOT have room to sit bigger parties. Even when you split up a bigger party it is still not enough room. Kings staff is amazing. Only other thing is when we called pizza in to pick up it took a while to even have someone answer the phone.
