This place has been in my radar for a while with its reputation as one of (if not THE) best burger joints in Minnie. Naturally, I brought my burger aficionado sister along to enjoy. I had high hopes with it being a 2 hour round trip journey for a Saturday afternoon lunch. First things first - you can tell this place is really popular! The parking lot was full and there was no shortage of new arrivals during our time there. We were seated quickly cuz we ate outside at one of the two picnic bench spots (they don't have much of a patio/outdoor seating). I would say this is one place where it is definitely worthwhile to seek out the menu before you go. It is an epic list of burger combinations ranging from the traditional to the down right weird. We split four burgers between us - the Harvest, Bench, Umpire, and the special (the "Boom Boom burger"). Overall, I would say this place slings above average burgers. Some of the combos were great, where others didn't seem like something we would try again. The fries were a slam dunk - both the regular and the waffle - and the ranch was clutch. Would I go back if I was in the Miesville area? Absolutely. Would I drive an hour one way for another burger - probably not.

Had a casual weekend lunch here. King's always has a great burger and many flavors to choose from. The burgers come with chips but their upgradable sides are worth it! The waffle fries were crispy and the onion rings with ranch were very tasty. Service was slow but I think they forgot to put in our order. Food was worth the wait and the portions were substantial! Will definitely go back again!

Have been wanting to give this place a try for a while after seeing a story about them on the local news many moons ago. Was in the mood for a burger so suggested a little drive down to King's. First off to note, the menu is overwhelming. I can guarantee if there is a combo of ingredients you want, they can make it happen. All of the different burgers have baseball name references, a tip of the cap to the Mudhens, which play across the street. I had a burger with marinara sauce, onions, and peppers, kind of like a hot dago. I would have liked a little more sauce, but it was still yummy. The potato salad was also great. Will definitely be back again!

The hype is real! So many burgers (over 100), all of which looked fantastic and made it tough to choose. I went with the Harvest burger, which came with mac and cheese poppers, gouda, pulled pork, fried onions, and a bourbon sauce that actually tasted like bourbon. Paired excellently with the seasoned fries. The service was a bit slow but that's understandable with it being a busy Saturday. Love the small town charm of the place and will have to come back.

Cruising through Meissville? Better stop and get one of their famous burgers. They're delicious.

We barely beat the lunch rush on a January Saturday--this place is popular! The atmosphere is cozy with lots of wood paneling, TVs quietly tuned to sports, and bar tap handles decorating the low walls. Do be aware, this is not a health food restaurant. This is a place where most everything can or will be deep fried and served with ranch on the side--and it'll be delicious. Service was fantastic throughout our visit. The guy understood that the menu is HUGE and we'd need some time to decide! For our appetizers, we ordered cheese curds and smoked gouda macaroni balls. Both were excellent, piping hot, and cheesy in distinct ways. I ordered a chicken pesto sandwich; the chicken breast was perfectly cooked, flavorful and moist, and the bread and seasonings were great. Basic ridged potato chips came alongside. My son ordered a regular grilled cheese and the upgraded seasoned fries; I snagged a fry, which was done in a criss-cut style, and though it was especially tasty. He ate his entire meal, which doesn't often happen. My husband ordered a spicy hamburger and the seasoned fries as well, and really enjoyed his meal. Our check came out promptly and we were quickly taken care of, which was much appreciated. I'd definitely come here again with my family, and this would be a wonderful place to bring company for some good Minnesota cookin'.

Amazing burger! They made 1/2 pound patties for us since we didn't get fries or buns.

Ambiance is super cool, cabin themed in the area we were sitting in. Service was good, the guy busing seemed miserable. He didn't even smile or say hi when taking our plates! For food we got the frickles, Jalapeño poppers and I got the pop fly burger. The appetizers were delish! Homemade ranch always has my heart. The burger was disappointing. It had bbq sauce, pulled pork, cheese and bacon. The pulled pork seemed to taste reheated, which was a bummer. I also asked for crispy onion and didn't get them on it. (Same with someone else in our party) I'll definitely be back, but will try something different.

Friend A: I had the squeeze play: "The combination of an egg, bacon, PB and Spicy Mayo, with even some lettuce to make me feel healthy, was killer. Fantastic flavor profile and really nice bite. I would have preferred more peanut butter to shine through and for the burger to be cooked a bit less but overall great. 7.7/10" Friend B: Aces burger w/ gluten free bun. Overall burger 4/5 stars, good spice (loved the olives). Gf bun 1.5/5 stars and better off not ordering with gf bun just go no bun. I had the Knight's Burger, which included bacon, sautéed mushrooms and onions, American cheese, lettuce, and mayo, served with fries. I thought the burger had the proper amount of each topping, allowing the flavors to blend perfectly without any one being overpowering. We went on a Sunday late afternoon, and the place was bustling with people. We were told there would be a 20-minute wait, and it was spot on. We were seated and taken care of very respectfully, with staff always asking if we needed anything despite the packed house. The food came out relatively fast, and we were all impressed with our orders. We will definitely be making a return in the future!

By far the best burger I can recall to date. Going to guess without counting around 100 hamburgers. The old school taps across the room, vintage beer signs just mimics the perfect road side burger bar.

We wanted to come back and try some other burgers. One of us ordered a half pounder and the other a quarter pounder. Both burgers were very overcooked and dry. The Teammate had a good flavor but the burger itself was just too chewy and dry. Fries were hot and good. If the meat itself was more flavorful and cooked less we would love this place. But I just can't eat burgers well done.

We stopped by here on our way to Red Wing because my boyfriend loves it - when he said it was a burger joint he wasn't kidding! This place has a whole two-sides menu of burgers with and immense amount of topping combinations. As a naturally indecisive person - this was my nightmare! It was so hard to choose. We started out by sharing a large Oktoberfest beer. It was delicious and served in a giant jar - I loved it! The service here was also very good - with a couple of waitresses running around and helping each other. My boyfriend ordered the Big League, while I went with the Road Game - we both love bourbon sauce! Both burgers were absolutely delicious, and not too big or too small (I can normally only eat half a burger, but I finished this one!). The maple syrup on the Big League & pineapple on the Road Game were both tasty additions to make the burgers unique. For sides, we ordered the coleslaw & waffle fries with seasoned sour cream. The fries & coke slaw were very yummy - but the seasoned sour cream needed to be thawed or something - it was so thick it was almost hard, and it made it difficult to dip the fries. Overall - a must stop if in the area!

Full Count burger from King's Place has bbq sauce, peanut butter, pepper jack cheese, bacon, & French's crispy fried onions. The patty had a great peppery seasoning on it. The bun was nice & soft. I placed this for a to-go order. It was hot & ready upon my arrival.

Perfect game - ham and hashbrown on a burger!

It's worth the stop! Small town experience with a bigger and beer list that will appease anyone. Try to catch a mudhens game as well.

We shared the cheese curds appetizer, which was great. For main dishes, my son created a meal by combining the appetizer chicken tenders with a side of fries. It was a LOT of food, and very good. He brought about half the tenders home. I had a chunk of a tender, too, and really enjoyed it. My husband had the southwest burger with tots. The tots were huge, like little barrels! I had the weekend special, a winter grilled cheese. To grab the description from their social media: "Brie, bacon, apples, hot honey, and white cheddar on cranberry wild rice bread." It was extremely good. I had potato salad on the side, and I have to say, it was probably about the best not-homemade potato salad I 've ever had. Incredibly fresh. I had an apple cider mule to drink, too. I really loved the woodsy, homey vibe, too. As we were there in December, there was lots of Christmas decor.
