Most of my family lives in town so this is where gatherings are held. The service has always been friendly. The digs are quite spacious and you can easily move about. I like that not all the everything is crammed together; such as video games, darts, etc so you'd be fighting for room. It's in a great location... basically center of it all. Street parking is pretty easy. If you find yourself in town or traveling down 52, it's worth exiting the highway and popping in for a rest and some lunch. Cheers and thanks for the continual good service Brewster's!

Just stopped here randomly with the family passing through town. The place was a hit! Everyone likes all the different fries and tots we got and all the food was classic bar food done nice and simple. Bartender was super friendly and the place was clean and chill. We'd stop here again!

Visiting area during the morning and decided to stop here for lunch before heading home. Looks decent from the outside. Plenty of off street parking available. There is a parking lot to the south but signs say it is bank parking only. Walking in it looked clean, half full with two large groups and 3 guys playing pool. We sat ourselves in a booth (all tables taken by groups). The first one we choose had tears in the leather apolstry seats, with the foam exploding out....so we picked a healthier one...right near the kitchen. Only one florescent light for 5 booths. We were right under it so it was nice and bright. Others were in the dark. Menus were at the table in the condiment holder. Good selection of burgers and sandwiches. Took a while to get service (order taken, tab given and tab paid). But the two waitresses were busy with the large groups...running in and out of kitchen with big orders. I think the cook helped also because an older lady brought us our meals, not the waitress that took our order. Food was okay. What I would expect from a small town hole-in-the-wall bar. Nothing "I would just have to have again". It was piping hot though. Fresh off the grill and out of the frier! The tab was delivered. The drinks were mixed up on the bill, but a pop and lemonade were the same price so it wasn't a big deal. Waited and waited for them to return for my CC. The same cook saw that I was waiting and grabbed our waitress. Thanks for the teamwork ladies!!

Typical bar food things to select from. The interior was clean and comfortable. The food was decent and portions were large. My only complaint is that the grill is an open concept in the bar area so you see everything being prepared. I was shocked to see the grill cook handle all the food items with bare hands. Then he would take a seat at the bar only to get up and cook more food without washing his hands. Rather disgusting in my book thus the 3 rating.

They were out rather fast and were your basic packaged curds. I would certainly go with the chicken wings next time. On person in our party of 6 ordered them as a main course and they were very good. Crispy batter and juicy chicken. I elected to try the Patty melt because it promoted a HUGE patty. Well my HUGE is much different than this one! The patty melt had good taste but I would certainly go with a different selection next time. The texas toast was toasted perfectly but it was just small. The tots were good but I wouldn't pay the upcharge next time. The FF are much better. My wife had Chicken bacon/ranch sandwich. She said it was moist with a crispy batter. She was very happy with the quantity and quality of the meal. Other in our party had the Eye opener (breakfast) burger with FF and like I said the FF are the right choice. Burger was good. Other meal order was boneless wings. they were also a good choice. Overall an OK place to eat. Certainly better than the McD down the street.

The Burger Monarchy: A Paradox of Plenty in Miesville In the…read morequiet, pastoral stretches outside Eagan, there exists a roadside institution that defies the modern trend of curated minimalism. King's Place in Miesville is a relic of a different era, a burger joint that functions less like a restaurant and more like a high-volume assembly line of Americana. The menu is not merely large; it is an overwhelming, multi-page manifesto of beef. With roughly 80 to 100 variations on the burger--many named in tribute to the local Miesville Mudhens baseball team--the experience begins with a bout of genuine decision paralysis. For the average diner, the sheer volume of choices feels like a dare. It is a place where you can find almost any topping imaginable, which makes the absence of a simple fried mushroom all the more jarring. It is the one note the kitchen fails to hit in an otherwise exhaustive symphony. When the food does arrive, the logistics are the primary entertainment. The floor staff at King's Place perform a nightly feat of athletic grace, weaving through the crowded, character-filled dining room while balancing five or more burger trays at a time. It is a spectacle of efficiency that puts the sterile, automated nature of modern chains to shame. However, one must navigate the side dishes with a discerning eye. While the temptation to "upgrade" is always present, the seasoned waffle fries are an investment that yields little return; they are best skipped in favor of the standard fare. The real value here lies in the core product and the refreshing lack of pretension. Despite the fame and the daunting menu, the pricing remains stubbornly reasonable, a rare feat for an establishment that has transitioned from a local secret to a regional landmark. "Life is too short to miss out on the beautiful things like a double cheeseburger." -- Channing Tatum For those seeking the predictable polish of a franchise, King's Place will be a confusing sensory overload. But for the traveler who values soul, speed, and a price point that respects the wallet, this is a kingdom worth visiting--just don't expect to find a fried mushroom on your plate. We got a bucket of rocks to toss at the wall filled with lots of metal objects, a chime, some Tonka trucks. They also had a fun crane that you can pickup blocks and try to stack them up or build something. The venue is an old Hastings building that has a ton of character. The Tap Wall has a good variety of beers and ciders. They change them up weekly. The costs per/ounce seems reasonable. They have the types of beverage broken down by type (IPA/Dark...) which is helpful. The cost/ounce varies depending on what you are getting. We tried several different menu items and all were good - the three different kinds of cheese curds along with the wide variety of wings (both bone in and boneless). They also have a lot of great sauces to add to your wings or curds. I also tried the Caprese flat bread, yum. We also tried a couple of the specialty cocktails, I really like the Honey Jalapeno Marg! The wait staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had.

What really pushed me over the edge was an experience I had a year ago. My friends and I had made our way down to Carbones to buy some wings from their promotional event. During our time there we had waited for 30 min...then another 30 min and then another 30 min! Eventually, we got up and approached our waiter to ask where our food was. We were told that it would only be a little bit more time. So we waited about 30 more minutes and finally our food came out. To our surprise the wings that we ordered were all undercooked. When mentioning this to our waiter, and thus the general manager, she seemed very, VERY annoyed with us. Keep in mind that we had been waiting for about two hours. The general manager immediately snapped back asking what was the problem with food, even though it was obvious that they forgot about us and rushed our order (thus the raw wings). rather than admitting that they were undercooked, she said she would make us an order again more to our "liking" if you can't believe it, this isn't even the worst part of our experience! . When it came time to pay the bill we were informed the credit card service was off-line and we had to make a cash payment. We didn't know what to do because we did not have cash. The general manager came and informed us that we had to go to an ATM and withdraw cash. However, she made it very, very clear that we were not allowed to all go together, implying that we were going to try to "steal the food" and by implying, I mean, she said that , "You better not all leave, one of you has to stay". What made me so upset about this interaction is that we were the ONLY people of color inside of the restaurant and she did not have the same tone of voice or language with any of the other customers AT ALL! I paid very close attention to how she spoke to the other customers. It was not our fault that their credit card service went down, but the fact that she demanded that one of us stay while someone had to go to the ATM was so disrespectful. Keep in mind this was the manager saying this! We had been to Carbones multiple times before this, and we always tipped! It seems there was only 1 reason for her to treat us like this.... We ended up sending one person out to the ATM to collect cash and STILL left a tip because it was the manager treating us poorly not our waiter. Would not recommend this place to anyone!
