I decided to stop over for a late lunch and try a new place today because it's in an area that I don't get to a lot and to also to see what else is in the area. Yelp had no menu link so I hoped that they had some lunch specials so I could try a few items. The place is in a strip mall with plenty of parking so that was nice. What I thought was super cool was the free face mask at the front door because lots of places charge for them. The menu did have lunch specials and that's what I got. The place has the dining room closed so you can't eat in so I got carry out only which C19 has got me completely ok with. I ordered the General Taos chicken with pork fried rice that comes with an egg roll which didn't take long. The pork fried rice was in name only because it's super scarce with a few peas, carrots and onions that was cooked perfect with a grill flavor like from a seasoned wok and very average. The General Taos chicken was mostly small dark meat pieces that were clinging to each other to appear like much larger pieces and once again average. The egg roll was better than average because it was crispy with fresh veggies inside that had come crunch left in them so not the mushy kind like some places. All in all its a solid average lunch special like most places and I have had better and worse but I did like that it was hot and cooked to order. read more

We actually decided to eat in instead of carry out, which is what most people do. it was funny and kind of sweet the way the entire staff almost tripped over each other to make sure we had what we needed. I have never had service this good. Granted, the dining area was a little funky with cardboard boxes stacked on chairs, and our food came in carry-out boxes with a styrofoam plate, but the food itself was wonderful and there was SO MUCH of it. While we ate we listened to people come to grab their carryout order and we listened to the kitchen staff scrambling around. It was so much fun! And for about $18, we ended up taking about half our food home for tomorrow's lunch! We will be back! read more

Sauces were not soaked into the food. Not like how it use to be. Fresh veggies but does not blend well. Rice seems like plastic.

They said 15 to 20 minutes. Got here in 15 been waiting 20 minutes since then. I watched the kitchen boy lift his hat and scratch his head vigorously then proceed to gather people's food into their bags. I also noticed a bag of food sitting there for for 15 minutes while the employees did various and chores and the girl who was checking people out and handing the food over mostly watched what was going on in the parking lot Got my food home and had to spit out my first two pieces of pepper steak because there was too much gristle to chew. We ordered 4 meals this evening and they were all delightful. My wife got the Peppersteak with Tomato, I got the Kung Bo Chicken which was peanuts, peppers and celery. Delish! My son said his Orange Chicken (which also has broccoli) was dang good, and his girlfriends Hunan Chicken which had peapods, peppers and broccoli and more! If I had to change anything it would be to spice it up a bit more. I like to add the chinese mustard to kick it up a notch. read more

Eh your average Chinese food place. We have gone here and had great food, then other times it has been awful. The sweet and sour sauce is never consistent. Sometimes it's thick and other times like water. Unfortunately it's one of the only Chinese places in Muskego so we tend to go. Nothing special but will satisfy a craving. read more

Fast and fresh. Great place for Chinese food. My family and I have been going here for over 10 years and love it; however, in the past 6 or so months we have noticed that the egg rolls have gotten extremely small. I wish they would bring back the old size that were large and the perfect ratio. Overall good place though. read more

We would not recommend. This is the first time we ordered from them and we are very disappointed. We ordered shrimp fried rice and the rice tasted like it came from a box. Very poor quality. We could tell by the shape of the grains and the poor taste. We also ordered shrimp chop suey, the white rice it came with was different and was delicious. And our egg foo young was a little burnt. We really like Kings Wok in Hales Corners but they are closed on Tuesday. Next time we will wait until Wednesday to order because there is no comparison Hales Corners is 100% better. read more

Really surprised to hear/read some of the negative comments(not that there are many, but the negative ones are particularly spurious. I had a friend work there in HS(which meant I spent a lot of time hanging out there) and Grandmother lived about a mile away, so I've been going there since I was a kid. The owner has NEVER been rude to me, so I found that one just hard to believe. When it comes down to it, it's carry out, relatively fast food. So if you're looking for place with several Michelin awards, this may not be the place for you. But I've always thought it great. I've been to a few other King's Wok's in the area, one in Hartland, etc...this was the best one. If you're waiting for a while and nobody says anything to you and you see a bag just sitting there, maybe ask the HS kid who works as the cashier if it's yours. Again, don't know the family personally, but over ~15 years I've gotten to the point where I've at least become friendly-ish with the owners and they've NEVER been anything but extremely pleasant, going back to when they opened and were working 15 hour days trying to make the place work. The Food is very good. I just hope people who read these reviews account for just how some people can be. I just flat out do not believe the owner called anyone lazy and told them to make their own food for no reason other than they did not like the food they got. As for the Food, I love the Egg Rolls, they're always great. The Sesame Chicken, Shrimp with Broccoli is delicious and you get a lot of Shrimp. I've eaten most of the menu, but I've settled in and gotten pretty boring. read more

Married? Listen up. Not married? Stick this tip away for future advice. When my mother in law comes into town... we typically get take out. Don't order ahead! Why, you ask? Here is my favorite way to get just a little bit of solitude before coming back to hear my MIL sing the same baby song over and over again for the 8,846th time. Go somewhere that has a beer selection, and enjoy a beer in peace. This has been my go to in the area as I pick up from Bass Bay, Hideaway, Lotus, Asian Garden, you name it. We moved to Muskego recently and I was delighted to try a restaurant with rave reviews and go sit and have a Tsingtao or Sapporo. Upon arriving... I realized that sodas were my only choice, and I was crushed. Fast forward to the food. We ordered three main items, some fried rice, and a few crab rangoons. The food was absolutely amazing. I love the the sweet and sour chicken has the sauce on the side, though I wish there were some chunks of pineapple in it. It was satisfying and delectable all the way around. We will be back... I'll be sure to stop by the piggly wiggly next door to grab a six pack before I venture home to the lullabies of grandma. read more

This place is close to my home so i go there often. Usually get a lunch special which is tasty and not expensive. Also love their egg drop soup. I order a quart to go and then eat it over a few days. I moved here about 5 years ago, their food has been tasty and comes with huge portion. Americanized Chinese that tastes great. My regular menus are steamed dumplings, shrimp chow mai fun, shrimp with Chinese vegetables and general Tso's chicken, I also love the seafood delight but haven't ordered it since the price increased--everything's good here. read more

The owner was very rude to my wife when ask to replace a order that didnt taste good. He told her that she should cook her own food and that she was lazy. When i came home from work I talked to him and he was extremely rude to me too. We used to eat there a few times a month because it was the only Chinese place in Muskego. It's great traditional Chinese take out. The owners work the place as does their daughter who I remember when she was a child. Very nice people. I think the food is very good and you watch the wok masters work from the front desk. I'd love to see them branch out into some traditional Chinese dishes but we don't really have much of a Chinese population in our neighborhood to make that profitable. Food is pretty bland. I mean the lunch special for $5.95 is worth it if you're in a hurry. The only thing keeping this place in business really is the fact that the next closest place is in Mukwonago or Hales Corners. Speaking of Hales Corners, I recommend Confucius House, amazing dishes and they even deliver to Muskego. read more

Don't know why I even tried this place again except I was so hungry for Chinese food and there is nothing else in Muskego. Shrimp Lo Mein was extremely bland and tasteless as was the pork fried rice. The egg rolls were bagged without anything to absorb part of the oil, so they literally dripped grease. Took one little nibble and thought better of it.
