Honest, good parts. They have a large selection. I also sold them an old junker and got more money than I thought the car was worth.

Count this as my third time using their shop, the first was for a state inspection & the second rear brakes. Both times they were on point and I left a happy customer! This round of car drama was a whole laundry list of maintenance due at the time and this shop had my Mazda done within a week turnaround. Pricing was fair and reasonable for such a large job. The best part of their service is how they text you a video (like a FaceTime call) of what's wrong with the vehicle prior to your approval to fix. Very modern but also easy enough for the more mature generation to figure out. When I picked my car up last week and took it home I noticed a loud clanging noise "that wasn't happening when I dropped it off". I called up and they had me bring it back, and they took care of it immediately. After reading that post about a fast oil change shop absolutely hosing a woman for an insane amount of money and leaving her with no recourse, I hope other folks looking for a reputable shop will give this one a shot. James and the crew at J&S are the real deal and get a glowing recommendation from me.

Prior to the appointment, we explicitly informed the shop that the system had already been recharged multiple times and had a confirmed, active leak. While we understand that professional mechanics must verify issues independently, J&S Auto Repair chose to simply recharge the system and add dye. They held the vehicle for two days, only to return it completely unrepaired. Rather than honoring the free diagnostic check to locate the physical leak and quote a proper repair, they billed her $223.50 for the redundant recharge and dye. To make matters worse, the initial invoice provided was unacceptably vague, completely lacking a breakdown of the labor performed or the materials used. I went into the office to address this discrepancy directly and explicitly asked for an itemized invoice. Astonishingly, the representative still refused to provide one. They offered no resolution, insisting the $223.50 was strictly for the recharge and dye test. When a customer explicitly states that a system will not hold refrigerant, charging them over $200 to fill it up just to watch it leak out, and then failing to detail those charges on paper upon request, is an unacceptable business practice. We expected to pay for a repair, not an unnecessary diagnostic step that ignored our prior disclosures and violated the premise of their free check. I will update this review if management corrects this billing issue.

Plus, some degenerate lost his dumb car to me so I had that problem so I figured Foo should dump it for some quick cash. The first place I called happened to be owned by the same wise guy who ran the game. "Ni hao, it's me, your best friend Foo who rode you like a dog and won your kitty last night," Foo said. "Oh yeah, you mutt, let me introduce you to Mr. Click." Then he hung up on Foo. It was loud in Foo's ear. So, then I called RFA and the man was nice and polite to Foo. "Hello, RFA, how may I assist you?" "Ni hao, me Foo and I have 2004 Volvo in good condition, runs and drives and has its original catalytic converter." "Four hundred." "How about four fifty?" said me, Foo. "Four hundred, cash." "When can you get it?" Foo said. "Ten minutes." So, RFA come over and pick up car with a truck with a bed that is flat and lights. The man greased Foo's palm with fifties and Foo give him daps and hugs. Foo not give no stack of grat because junking isn't hospitality. It's just cash on barrel with no issues. Tow guy not deal Foo a black jack or mix Foo a martini. No grat! Foo took the four hundred to Foxwoods and stop at NS Spa to say thank you to RFA for cash on barrel for my junk. Xie xie RFA!
